Spark delivery drivers don't always read and follow my delivery instructions. Some of them stop at my garage/workshop some 300 yards before my house and leave groceries out in the weather. Being handicapped this becomes a real pain for me to get in my truck, drive to garage, load groceries, drive back to my house and then unload them at my door. The good it's Walmart The bad it's Walmart Sometimes the employees are nice sometimes they are not. Sometimes it's neat and organized sometimes it's not. Sometimes there's too many low quality characters shopping sometimes there's not. I miss being able to shop at 2am in peace but that's no longer an option I guess Mr Walmart saved a lot of money not having to pay night employees. read more

I wanted to tell you about coming in to the back of the store and speaking with an associate named John Mark, this man was beyond professional and kind, he told us where we will find some otter boxes after a few minutes he notice we were in the wrong area came and directed Us right to it. Not only did he find the right thing and take us to another place of the store where it had the OtterBox for the phone I had in his kindness he also put it on for me, this is what I call service dedication and professionalism I can't say enough good about the store, one time prior last year I had a problem with a gift card and the store manager took care of it 100%, this was something that Walmart of Arkansas said they could do nothing for me this person at a store and this associate are awesome. read more

I am a retired disabled army veteran. I was waiting in my vehicle for my niece who is now living with us to arrive with her dad last night at Walmart on Market St. when I got approached by 3 cars while 1 officer and a Walmart employee proceeded to make statements that because the store is closed and it's late that I must be a Drug Dealer. Again I'm a Disabled Veteran with 3 tours to Iraq.... I've seen more crap than most of the cops here have. I am going to be contacting the chief of police in Johnson City about this. They were unprofessional, the officer was rude, hateful, and the clam was unfounded. I had 3 children with me in the car who all were freaked out thinking I did something wrong by sitting in a public parking lot under a light waiting for family. I have already contacted the store to speak with someone about this situation and will not be returning to this Walmart. To be publicly humiliated while a Walmart employee looks on and smiles like it's funny is not the kind of professional attitude the leadership in Walmart needs to have. read more

I came in for an oil change before a 4hr ride back to Georgia and was greeted by Amy. I wanted advice anit nothing more on the condition of my tires. Amy took one look and realize it unsafe and requested I service my tires. She took it upon her self to provide extra care to my situation and was extremely helpful and informative. I was skeptical about getting new tires but with Amy's help, I felt comfortable and happy. I hope to always cross path with someone like Amy when receiving customer service in my future. Truck a 2013 Ford F 150 was brought in for a oil change. After a week or so noticed oil spots on drive way wasn't sure which vehicle it was we have 4. When I checked the oil it was over 2 quarts low.After returning it to Walmart the old oil gasket was left on the filter mount which the oil filter could not be tight. In my opinion Walmart is not skilled enough to do in oil change. read more

Oddly enough, I see the last HONEST review I made of this store has mysteriously vanished. So, I suppose I will hit the high points again. ALL the following is very much true of this store. 1) There are rats / mice in the produce area. I have seen them many times. The mice will go from the produce area to aisle 1 where they will eat through the bags of bread 2) There are trip hazards all over the store, not only from the pallets left out overnight but also to the many leaks throughout the store. If it is raining, watch out. No doubt about it, you will see a leak. 3) Management doesn't have the slightest clue as to do the most basic thing. Shouldn't a manager know how to mix paint? How about make keys? How do they get to the position of manager if they don't know how to do the very same things the hourly employees know how to do? Maybe they do know but they are simply too lazy to do these things or maybe they think they don't have to do those things anymore. 4) The lights went out in this store after a huge storm one night. ALL the meat was returned to the shelf after it being left out for nearly 8 hours. That is a fact people. The meat, and the dairy was put back on the shelf so the store would not lose money. This is the worst Walmart in Northeast Tennessee. Check it out for yourself but watch out for the mice. read more

Unlike the opinion of the last reviewer, I think that this Walmart is generally ok. It is newer and provides the services that you expect at Walmart. But, one area that I have been very disappointed with is the Tire and Lube Express. I used it once with my Toyota to get new tires and everything went well. When I went back with my Volvo for a simple oil change while I was buying groceries, the clerk took my keys and said it would be ready in 30 minutes. After 1.5 hours I asked the clerk what was taking so long and she said that it was almost ready. At 2 hours I asked what the problem was and was told that they could not find my oil filter but had called the dealer for help. At 2.5 hours the clerk returned to the counter, looked at me, literally dropped the keys on the counter, and walked off. I had to call her back to ask what the problem was and she said they could not find my filter but had already drained the oil. Ultimately, they refilled the car with oil at no charge, but had wasted 2.5 hours of my time and I still had to go somewhere else where they knew how to find an oil filter on a Volvo. This Walmart is fine for groceries, but a dedicated auto mechanic might be better to serve your auto needs. read more
