On the way out I spotted a small three legged cauldron in remarkable condition and after much self deliberation I picked it up! As it turns out. With the burner plate removed it fits perfectly inside the hole, directly over the fire ! Just like it was MADE for my wood cook stove! In this manner it can most efficiently bring it to boil. New Braunfels Town Center isn't really in the town center- that's where the square is. This is a bit outside of the downtown area. It's not really creekside either. This shopping center is large, with lots of chain restaurant options, and a liquor store, and plenty of places to shop. Ingress and egress is easy along the Creekside Crossing road and the I-35 frontage road. Parking is plentiful. I do not care for the intersection that TxDot made in front of this place, between this shopping center and Buc-ee's. It briefly makes drivers drive on the left side of the road like we're in Britain or something.
