Thank you to the entire staff of the HEB Pharmacy for making the COVID-19 vaccination process super easy and quick. Like many other Texans, I made my COVID-19 vaccine appointment through HEB's main website (vaccine.heb.com). After finding a spot available at this pharmacy, I filed out all the information and received a confirmation email. When I got to the pharmacy, the staff was super friendly and already had my name on file. They asked me to fill out an additional form and answered all of our questions related to the Pfizer vaccine. The staff was very nice and even gave my husband additional information on how he could get his vaccine (he is not part of group 1A, 1B or 1C). In just a few minutes I was called to separate room to get my pfizer vaccine and received some additional paperwork with information on side effects. IF I could leave a negative star I would Placed a curbside order for 9:00 PM and sat waiting while employees ignored the pickup spots. After more than 10 minutes, someone finally came out only to say they were closed and I'd have to come back in the morning. No apology, no attempt to fix the situation, and the manager Jonathan handled it with zero urgency or professionalism. If your team wants to close early, stop accepting pickup orders you clearly don't plan on fulfilling. read more

I have been ordering custom birthday cakes from this specific H-E-B bakery for the past month, every single week it seems like lol. Every single time they don't disappoint at all. The bakers are always so nice and patient on the phone with all my wants. They can have it ready as early as the next day. The sweets always come out better than expected. I suggest having them bake any celebration cake as necessary and they deserve a raise, (I said it!!!). They go above and beyond. This week I ordered two more birthday cakes and I am so excited to see how they turn out. read more

I recently began to pay attention to the prices of the things I've been buying. I noticed today that two of my items were ringing up more expensive than what the sign says. I took pictures of both items and the sign. The cashier honored one of them. She told me the other one had a different number, but it was the only sign anywhere near the item and was the same exact description. They just had an old sign apparently. The cashier wasn't very nice, but Destiny, who was the manager, was so kind and didn't make me feel bad even though it wasn't that much money. She actually gave me the item and told me thank you for bringing it to her attention. I just thought it was over the top kind and the best customer service I've had in a long time. We are not from Texas but were staying in the area for several weeks around Christmas. Our first experience with this store was truly amazing. We were first greeted by a small group singing Christmas carols just inside the store and it really exemplified the Christmas spirit. We then met a man from the deli/BBQ restaurant area (Pedro?) walking around the store selling fresh tamales. Every time we saw him he just made us smile. His personality just lit up the place and he was amazing. The BBQ was awesome and came back multiple times for their Brisket nachos and BBQ Brisket potatoes. We did have the pleasure of seeing Pedro again but the rest of their deli staff was great as well. It is very odd but we found ourselves telling our family and friends about this cool grocery store in Pleasanton Texas. You need to check it out! read more

As far as the groceries go its the only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars. The BBQ and Deli staff are also great. Its the cashiers that really bring this place down. The cashiers are mostly comprised of what appear to be high school kids. Due to the lack of baggers the cashiers usually end up bagging your groceries, and they all seem poorly trained in that area. At this point the last 5 times Ive been there they've managed to destroy anything that is not packaged in a sturdy box or bottle. Last time the cashier tossed my eggs so hard they broke. When I asked to have them replaced the cashier treated me like I was inconveniencing her and she expected me to just take them with yoke dripping from all ends of the carton. Today the cashier threw a $15 pie so hard it landed upside down. She stuffed it under as many items as she could fit in one bag. She also mixed everything together in as few bags as possible, as if there was a shortage of bags. If it wasn't for the fact that this is the closest HEB to my home I'd completely stop going there. During the South Texas gas crisis of 2017, this HEB was the only place in town that had petrol! I came coasting into town after trying many fuel places along the way, with no luck. Other gas stations across the area had those little yellow bags over the pump handles- their pumps were dry. Then, I came across HEB- with many pumps full of valuable gasoline! I figured that the scene at the gas pumps would be something out of Mad Max, desperate people going to any lengths to scrounge for gas- but HEB had the situation under control. Sure there was a bit of a wait, but HEB had employees in bright orange protective gear out in the parking lot directing traffic to the pumps, ensuring that the gas buying experience would be peaceful for everyone. The gas pumps accepted credit cards, and were clean. They were out of premium grade gas, but nobody seemed to mind. I am grateful to this HEB for maintaining a fuel supply when nobody else in South Texas seemed to be able to do so. Nice place to shop. Friendly helpful staff. They have the freshest produce in town. This store is clean, well organized and always has great deals. I love all the coupon deals they have. During the planting months they have beautiful healthy plants for sale out front. This store is always busy so don't go there if your in a hurry cause there is always a wait at the register. But if your looking for great prices on the best meat, freshest seafood and produce I highly recommend this place. read more
