I went to this walmart today at the request of my mother who is dying from lung cancer. She aske dif i would run to walmart to grab her two pairs of sweat pants because its become very difficult for her to get dressed each day due to the exhaustion and her age. SHe thought simple sweat pants that she can just sit down and pull on will simplify things for her and i agree. SInce im not familiar with the womens department i asked two seperate employees if they could help me find a pair of women 2x sweat pants. Neither employee was able to comprehend what i was asking for. I have never in my life seen so many blatantly stupid people under the same roof. Do not take your vehicle here to have anything done! You will be sorry as I am when your motor throws a rod two and half weeks later on a Acura that barely over 100k miles! I was on a road trip and started hearing a noise pulled into a Walmart in N. Carolina got another service they told me to go across the street and get it checked and they said I had thrown a rod and it had something to do with oil or type of oil used. After two months of playing phone tag with Walmart management in Lincoln and North Carolina they sent a claim to their insurance. My first Walmart in Nebraska and it's consistent with the brand. Large format Supercenter with groceries and fresh foods on one side, soft goods, sporting goods, personal care, cosmetics, housewares on the other. I stopped in for a few snacks and drinks for my time here in Lincoln. The store was mildly busy in the lead up to the Fourth of July holiday with lots of seasonal specials. Found my drinks, found my snacks, took a quick look through the racks of shorts (it's 97 degrees out there today) and decided not to pick up anything from there today. Ringing up my purchase was quick at the self-checkout and I was on my way. The store was tidy, the merchandise was stacked well, there was no litter outside and there were very few carts in the cart corrals. This store is A-OK. I'll never understand why people hire without training , needed batteries replaced under warranty just under 1 years old and they are junk , haddd my girls take one at a time there, the people at wally world checked the voltage ( only the voltage ) told them the voltage was low but battery was still good and can't warranty batteries because they don't see anything wrong, ridiculous, I would recommend Walmart to no one ever. Not the worst Walmart Super Center I've ever frequented, but definitely ranks near the bottom. Imagine the Cantina Bar in Star Wars. Freak show. I would like to say after spending about an hour on hold to get from electronic to a CSM, I finally was transferred. I spoke with the CSM Michelle on April 2, 2020 about 12:13 PM CST time. Not only was she not willing to help rectify me being sold an item that was used and faulty. But hung up on me. I was not even done speaking yet. I was not disrespectful, rude, didn't raise my voice, nothing in a disrespectful manner. I don't know how she is a CSM, but this Walmart should be ashamed of how they treat there customers. This is probably the worst Walmart in the Lincoln area due to there customer service, and how they also treat the Arab community. I'm frankly disgusted with the treatment and this isn't the first time, I personally have been treated horribly whether its me calling to speak to a manager, or being there in person. I would highly recommend that Corporate come take a look at this location and the poor treatment of its customers. I would also recommend OSHA to come to this store. I can tell you that there are several health and safety concerns. Not to mention fire codes that are visible to customers that are not being followed. read more

Customer service isn't helpful at all! I needed to exchange a mirror that had a stain on it, I didn't have the receipt although I had a screenshot of the receipt. They wouldn't let me leave the mirror in the store when I was coming back later that day. So I asked if I could get a hand carrying it back to my car. Rude, rude, rude! And that is being nice about the female associate they had in men's ware resetting some racks when I went on very early his morning. You get used to seeing them stocking and resetting departments, cleaning floors, etc. When you shop the overnight hours but this lady was clearly in no mood to be at work! I wasn't even in her department yet when she started barking at me about watching our for her stuff sitting out in different places. It wasn't what she said it was definitely about how she spoke to me. I had to ask her a couple questions because I wasn't sure where some.things we're at and she all but sliced my head off with her eyes and responses. This walmart is pretty good as with having what I need being in stock however its the people that shop here that bother me. Ladies it's called a bra, please for the love of god wear one! Since when did pajamas and slippers become appropriate to wear in public as an adult? I could see if it was a toddler or just a child in general but seriously wear a t-shirt and jeans. As to the parking situation it sucks but at least they are fixing the parking lot...finally. I once thought I was going to never get out of the dip in the parking spot. If you enjoy a post-apocalyptic atmosphere or coming into contact with dismal zombie-people, then this is the store for you. I hadn't visited this Walmart in awhile, and I was extremely surprised by the creepy, unfriendly, downright scary atmosphere that I encountered when I visited one afternoon several months ago. I clutched my purse to my side the whole time and left before I'd finished my shopping because I felt really uncomfortable there. The employees seemed more focused on preventing shoplifting than on providing service. Three clerks appeared to be guarding one aisle-- avoiding eye contact and standing grimly side by side with their arms crossed. I saw multiple clerks around the store, but few seemed friendly. No one offered me assistance or greeted me. When I asked a man in the lawn/garden area about the price of a hanging basket, he did not walk over to me or attempt to help, but told me that it should be listed on the basket. Out of about 10-15 baskets, only ONE listed the price-- which, luckily, I found. Many of the signs in that department had empty spots where the prices should've been listed. Overall, this store's terrible service and poor organization are the least of its problems. Mostly I just felt sorry for the employees. The worst part, by far, was the creepy feeling that the place was about to be the scene of a shooting or, at the least, that I was about to be mugged. I would not recommend shopping here, especially not at night. read more

I returned a stroller to the North 27th Street site. Vivian was the only person working in the Customer Care Center. (She's a jewel) I'm not sure what the personnel with the keys do other than stand and chat. The Customer Service line was 8 people deep and still no assistance for Vivian. This is such a horrible store and I try to avoid it all cost but I ordered a stroller and this site is the closest to my home. I'm not sure how long it will take before I see a credit on my account but if it's not in my checking account by Monday I will have to contact that horrible store. Wish me luck. Worst Walmart I have ever encountered!! I have to use this Walmart for my pharmacy and I cringe every month, when it is time to fill my prescriptions. First of all the entire store is filthy and the shelves are usually completely empty! Now on to the pharmacy......It usually takes me an average of 4 phones calls and three stops to get all my prescriptions correctly filled...and I only fill four different medications. I am a nurse and know exactly what I am filling but yet the entire pharmacy staff speaks to me like I am five years old. I use a discount card that all "Walmarts" accept but when I use it here, i get ridiculed for using it. The pharmacist actually told me that I shouldn't use this card because "Walmart" does not reimbursed 100% for my prescriptions, "yes" Mr. Pharmacist, I want to pay full price so Walmart gets paid back....idiot! Also, when you call on the phone to check on your refill, by-pass all the staff members that answer the phone because they do not know anything about medications, insurance, etc and they are beyond rude!!! If you are lucky, you will get a pharmacist, that you can understand but if you don't, Good Luck, you are going to need it. read more

It's Walmart, so not much to say about it that you don't already know. This particular location seems to have lazy employees as I have seen them sitting on the floor gossiping together, taking up a whole isle in order to stock the items on the hooks or shelves. What's up with that?? This is the only location in Lincoln that has a fabric section, small as it is, I often visit it for supplies while I'm doing my other shopping. There is almost always an alarm going off in electronics which they just let go which is quite annoying. I've heard it going off the length of my whole shopping trip before. This store is awful and the employees don't give a crap about customers. I bought a TV online and it was damaged. I brought it to the store to hopefully get it replaced with a new one. The first thing the customer service person said was "I'm guessing you don't have your receipt". So I said, why would you think that? And yes I have my receipt. So they took the tv out of the box to check if it was the same one as the receipt. Of course it was. And while they took it out of the box they got it nice and dirty, and also broke the box, not even considering the fact that I still haven't even returned it yet. So I go to the back of the store to see if I can find the same TV to replace it with. The same TV is now 250 dollars more because I bought it when it was on sale. I try to find a manager of some sort and of course there isn't a single manager in the store and the highest ranking employee is the jerk at customer service. She says that they won't do anything because it's my fault. So I call Walmart.con and they ask me to put a manager on the phone because I'm not being treated fairly. So customer service lady ( I know her name, I just won't say it on here ) tells me that there are managers in the store but she won't let me talk to them. So (since I needed a TV that day) I had to walk away with the same TV, while paying an extra 250 dollars and being treated like crap. It is insane that they allow their employees to treat customers like they are always wrong. They are so numb to everything around them. This didn't even affect her and it seemed like she thought I deserved this. I wish I would have been allowed to speak with a manager. Although If the employees of this Walmart are following the leadership of their manager, then I'm sure he is just an extreme version of customer service lady. So that wouldn't have helped anyways. I wish I could give a lower rating than 1 star. The company has renovated the interior. They forgot to renovate the employees. None of the employees have a clue where anything is. The separate departments, fabric, paint and sporting goods do not have the counters staffed to assist customers. (These are definitely departments you can't help yourself in for some items) When you purchase fabric be ready to have it cut and measured by the employee from paint. I tried calling the store for information today (I live a distance away) the female that answered the phone acted like I had taken her from the most important meeting of her life. I heard a big disgusted sigh. Then she said, 'Hold on and let me see if someone will answer". No one answered. Maybe the employee on the other end was not familiar with American phones. So many employees who work here do not speak English that shopping here is like taking a trip to the Middle East. I called Menards instead. I know the store cannot be responsible for the way the customers dress. I do know that the company can be responsible for the way the employees represent the store. The dress code is khaki pants and blue shirt. That gives the employee a lot of leeway to dress horribly. The employees at this store are usually in dirty blue shirts (any blue color flies as well as some prints) that is either too large or too small. Too large their chest is hanging out every time they bend over. (No one wants to see a dirty bra or a hairy chest, especially near my food items as I check out) Too small and you get to see the behinds of male employees or the obese stomachs of the female employees. (plumbers crack is not appealing neither is flubber hanging over waistbands) The "managers" are just as poorly dressed as the cashiers. I also do not want my cashier smacking their gum while checking me out. I even found one employee waiting on a customer while she was eating a sandwich that was dripping sauce onto the floor! I have seen a worse place to shop, but it was located at 24th and Vinton in Omaha. Corporate needs to make a surprise trip into this location. I don't shop here often, even if it is the closest store to my home. I feel very uncomfortable when I do need to shop here. Something needs to be done with management and the less than desirable employees they hire at this location. I will also say the other Lincoln locations are no where near this poorly operated or managed. read more
