I had a very disappointing experience at the Dillard's store in Lincoln, NE, and I feel it's…read moreimportant to share it. I recently purchased a pair of shoes and never wore them -- they were not used outside and remained in the same condition as when purchased. I came to the store with the original receipt, fully expecting a standard return in accordance with the return policy. However, my return was refused, with the explanation that the shoes were allegedly in "poor condition," which is absolutely incorrect. What made the situation even worse was that the refusal came directly from the store manager. Unfortunately, the manager's behavior was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. There was no willingness to properly review the item, explain the decision, or offer any alternative solution. I felt uncomfortable and disrespected as a customer. When a manager behaves this way, there is nowhere for customers to escalate the issue in-store, which makes the experience even more frustrating. I have never had such a poor customer service experience, especially from a store I expected better from. This experience did not align with the standards of customer service I associate with the Dillard's brand. I truly hope this situation is reviewed, as it reflects poorly on the store and management. I would strongly encourage Dillard's corporate team to look into this location and ensure customers are treated with professionalism and respect.

The plastic is no where near as thick as before, the tent like flex on the bottom isn't there anymore, and I just went through several bags because they all were leaking out of the bottom corner!! ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!! Thank god it wasn't much and I noticed it before I put my milk in the fridge or it would've leaked out all over! Some milk was still wasted as I obviously was unable to remove all my milk from the leaking bags! I called target and told them the issue. They said to bring the bags and receipt in to "see what they can do....I expect a full refund for this product malfunction.

I ordered 3 items online Feb 3, JCPenny charged my account twice for the same order, which still…read morehas not arrived. When I called to inquire, they would not let me cancel the order, and would not reverse the extra charges. They said I had to wait for the order to arrive, then return the items, and that the extra charges to my account were made for their "assurance" and they would be reversed once the order is picked up. Who the hell bills you multiple times for one purchase for their "assurance"? It seems to me there's some finance fraud happening here.

WARNING! Be extremely careful when ordering an upscale priced item from Penny's. We ordered…read moreseveral window shades from them and one of them does not fit. properly. We ordered from the in-home window treatment service. The ones we ordered for the living room and for a bedroom are the same style. The width and length are different. The in-home representative reversed the lengths on them. That means the one in the bedroom is 10 inches longer than we ordered - not a problem. The living room shade is 10 inches too short so it doesn't cover the whole window. The shade was over $1000, which is not a trivial amount to us. In between the time we ordered them and we discovered the problem, Penny's declared bankruptcy and the Covid hit, delaying the installation of the shades. After numerous calls and letters to Penny's this situation has not been resolved. I've even had the Nebraska State Attorney General's office intervene for us with no results. It is clearly the fault of the in-home representative, but Penny's keeps finding different reasons to deny us satisfaction. We have been told that there is no verification from Penny's that there is a problem. Of course not, because they have ceased their in-home service and no longer do business with the installer or the provider of the shades. Who can into our house and verify the problem??? This leaves us with a short shade and a company that won't believe the documentation. This is very disconcerting to us. Everyone except Penny's who has reviewed the letters I've sent that shows documentation, including the representative from the Attorney General's Office, agree that there is definitely a problem with the measurements done by the in-home representative. When I call Penny's, I'm always told they will check with their manager, Sydnee Gravely. When she does answer my calls, she consistently says that Penny's will not replace our shade even though it is absolutely clear from the documentation that Penny's has made an error. I have the feeling that she has been told to never agree to pay for an error made before the bankruptcy. Therefore I warn you to be very careful when dealing with Pennys. It's not the Penny's that I grew up with. Norma Sturgeon
