Didnt get pictures. Buy stuff in bulk. We perused this store as we were trying to decide to keep the costco membership we've had for three years. We recently acquired a competing brand- coz cheaper and closer to our home. And we basically visited the two stores back to back for a comparison to see what we want to keep for now. Costco is not as well organized as i like it to be. But has more ethnic stuff that i like (asian inspired). I really like the products which have a greater ethnic variety and lower sugar overall. They have sugar free dried fruit which i really like. The organization is a little less organized. For paying you have to queue long lines some days - typical of costco. But you do get through the line really quick - i prefer the competing brands' self checkout as it was neater and less of a fuss. Meat here is not as cheap- direct comparison. But also depended on the deals we saw that day. Both shops have their pros and cons. For now.. we are letting our membership go. But will see how it goes when its time for renewal read more

Worst tire center ever. Janon is the most disrespectful and unprofessional employee I've ever met. He refused to honor the tire warranty. Made my daughter come back with her car the next day when new tires came in and then made her wait with her 6 year old child for 3 1/2 hours after telling her he already pulled the car in at time of appt. Then 3 1/2 hrs later told her he couldn't put new tires on because lugnuts were swollen, even though they have lugnuts there and available for purchase. Meanwhile they were the last and only place to even handle the tires and lugnuts. This tire center is a SCAM. read more

Finally decided in July to get my hearing checked, and looked into hearing aids. Costco had been mentioned to me as a good place to go, so I did! Was very impressed with their great customer service, ease of purchase. And Eunah Jo-Warnke was so nice! She made the whole process so much easier, and just a great experience. Don't know why I was so worried about this! Highly recommend going here, if you need hearing aids, the cost is reasonable, the customer service is wonderful....best place to go!! read more

I'm such a fan I have my travel plans wrapped around costco availability. Today it's just gas but we have an old RV that consumes egregious amounts of gas on a long road trip. This trip alone our average savings at Costco buys two gallons of fuel per tank. That's huge fir our retirement income in todays economy. Costco.....I really wanted to give you another try...but now...NO WAY..we bought new tires December 2019 right before canceling our membership in January 2020 becuase we had issues with several food items with issues and an employee that was very rude...I went to Costco Tuesday October 5th...I showed up early as I was told to do at 9am because I'm disabled and they keep earlier times for disabled and elderly. I sat and waited until about 915am and still doors didn't open so I called Costco they finally opened up and I explained my situation and advised them I had back surgery not very long ago and could hardly walk. The man said not to worry it will be quick and will have you on the way.....it was not quick nor easy at all. It took almost 2 hours for them to tell me My tire ended up having a piece of shrapnel in the side wall and couldn't be repaired so I was told they could not sell me tires and warranty wasn't active because I was no longer a member..long long story I had to re buy a membership so I could buy a new tire in the meantime I was treated rudly by not 1...not 2 BUT 3 different employees. I left very upset with a donut on my vehicle and was told come back the next day which ended up being Thursday because they didn't have time availability Wednesday..so I made an appointment showed up at 11:58am Thursday and was told again don't worry it won't take long at all....I waited 25 minutes and the only reason someone helped me is I asked an employee taking a car in that just pulled up I needed help and had an appointment. They finally got my vehicle back and they did such a terrible job they left the spare tired metal shield on our back seat which got it dirty...THEN look at the picture...I WAS PULLED OVER TODAY by lpd asking why I had a spare tired hanging underneath my vehicle...so now I will have to go back to Costco and have them fix this.. needless to say I am very mad this took way longer than it should have and the employees didn't even install the spare back correctly.....this is DANGEROUS!!!! .these issues along with the time and money waited prior I am out time and money almost 100.00 but hey Costco if you want to lose a customer CYA! The service and efficiency appear to be much better than the 2 other locations in Omaha. Costco is one of my favorite places to shop. I've been to many Costco stores and one of the great things about them is their amazing customer service. Unfortunately, at the Lincoln Costco, some of the employees haven't gotten the Politeness to Customers memo. One of the managers was extremely rude to me when I bought one of the last items, which was the display. I didn't have the price, and I was trying to tell him there was a straw missing, he rudely told me to go get the price sign, did not smile or greet me, and insisted that the price sign was for the display, even though the sign said the price was for two Starbucks coffee mugs with lids and straws, and what I had was two Starbucks cups, one scratched and with no straw. The cashier looked mortified and apologized for his behavior and said he was always rude. Fortunately, a much nicer manager came over and made things right. On a different occasion, I sent my son in the food court side to get a couple of hot dogs. He said the lady at the door said he wasn't allowed to the food court with out a member card. I have NEVER been asked to show my member card when entering the food court area. So I had to park and go inside with him. I walked right past the lady because she was checking receipts. We bought our hot dogs and sat down to eat. The whole time I was eating, the lady was glaring at us. When we got up to go she stepped in front of us and asked if I had a card. I said yes, but I have NEVER been asked to show it going into the food court. This woman started yelling at me and pointing at customer service saying "Its our new policy, ASK THE MANAGERS!" I literally had to put my hand up in her face and walk out. It was like I had gone to WALMART! This customer service definitely cuts my number of visits and recommendations to the Lincoln, Nebraska Costco. read more

It's a Costco! When your belly needs a 1/4 lb hot dog and soda but only have $1.50 in your pocket, you've come to the right place! They also have pulled pork and pressed turkey sandwiches, big-A churros, frozen yogurt, Caesar salads, pizza, and, of course, chicken bakes. They do not have pretzels, so for that you'll have to hit up Target or Sam's Club. Costco and Sam's Club carry similar but different items, so if you're not sure where to go, here are just a couple things me and my family have noticed. Costco: Way more Asian food (Bao and paneer! Ginormous boxes of Pocky! Nori!!!), gourmet foods, furniture, appliances, and discounted gift cards to local restaurants. We bought $100 worth of gift cards to the Asian Fusion place across the street Nissara for only $80. #datenight There are slightly higher prices on everyday items like eggs. Sam's Club: More selections of grocery items overall, lower prices on random stuff like legal pads and chips (2 huge bags of Lay's for $5 vs $6.99/bag at Costco). Also has extended early-morning hours for premium members (worth it!)...Oh, and at Sam's you can scan your items as you go through the store and check out via the app, skipping the long lines. They both have cheap gas, better prices than standard stores for items they carry, and free samples you can snack on! read more

I have to say this is a new level in customer service. Visiting Lincoln on a business trip I decided to try the new local Costco looking for the unobtainable KS golf balls. I roamed the store looking for the ever present Calaway golf gloves that would let me know I was close. No luck, so I asked the closest employee for some help. "Dennis" told me there were none in the warehouse. I explained the history of my failed quest through many states and warehouses to get these golf balls. He told me I could have some of his, really!? Being a former employee of Costco I am well aware of the company culture but this was above and beyond. I recently (less than 1000 miles ago) put tires on a car at Costco. Last week the TPMS told me that one of the tires was low. So Friday afternoon I pulled up to the Costco tire center and asked them to put air (well, nitrogen) in the tire. The worker immediately went to it. He noted that it took longer than he expected to get it up to the required air pressure so he started checking the tire. His co-worker came by to tell him that the tire had been at 22 psi when I arrived. He then told me that while he wasn't able to see any problems, it really should be put on a rack so they can look at it more carefully. I told him to go ahead and went into Costco to get a soda ($0.63 cents for a cup at the soda fountain). Soon I got a call and they told me I had picked up a screw. I went to the tire center and the worker explained that due to the placement of the screw, well, the tire was screwed! I was bummed! He brought up my car history on the computer and said, "We can replace it at no cost." Well that made me happy! So I went back to sipping my soda while they put a new tire on and re-torqued all of the tires. It was all handled so efficiently and in such a friendly, easy manner! We finally have a Costco in Lincoln. Hooray! The selection is pretty good. For the grand opening, they had some big ticket items, such as name brand purses and jewelry. This store is missing a photo center, though, hence my 4 star review instead of 5. I'm so glad to have this shopping option in town, though! read more

Love love love Costco! So glad Lincoln finally has this. They offer amazing deals for buying things in bulk, but you will need a deep freeze! We had to get one. Milk is really cheap. The Kirkland brand offers high quality products that are similar to name brands of things such as greenie dog treats and kcups. Lots of the meat such as the chicken is packaged in serving sizes for easy freezing. They of course have a random assortment of household items in addition to the grocery and the selection is always changing. Check the weekly ads and buy stuff when it is on sale-already a deal but even better when it is on sale. I got my car battery here and it was an interstate and a steal compared to elsewhere. Staff have been friendly and nice each time we have gone. They do have weird hours so make note of that--they close at 6pm on the weekends and other nights it is 830pm. read more

Whatever you might need they probably have it. Everything is significantly cheaper here plus the staff is always friendly and helpful. A lot of people are steered away by the annual fee, but having been a member for over a year I can say without a doubt you will save the amount of money you spent on the fee after just a few trips. read more

Wished I could give them zero stars! I've had so many issues from the pharmacy losing scripts giving wrong info and taking 3 days to get a script to customer service making me 30 minutes to only have the lady walk away that was the only one to help me. Tire dept is the worst as they couldn't call me to let me know my car was done when I dropped it off in the morning so I had to wait till next day to get my car. They said they had the wrong number which I changed at customer service prior to that and they didn't call the secondary number. Took 3 times to change the Number and it's still wrong lol! When they did do my tires they dropped my rim cracking it! $530 is brand new for 1 rim! I asked them to just pay for a repair of $120 NOPE! However they said they would replace the tire since the gouge screwed up the tire. Ok well they ordered it and again they F up! They ordered the wrong tire which I told the GM manager many times and gave him the tire size! I get there taking off work to pick up and they pull out a tru k tire and since clay GM manager wasn't there I had to deal with the ever so pleasant Joshua the asst GM which made things worse by coming at me with an attitude and being a complete jerk saying I was harassing him when I didn't call him any names nor yelled but yea I'm pissed! He flat out said my business didn't matter and I can cancel my membership and his employees are my Witnesses. I pleaded I wanted to talk to only Clay but he refused to let me. I am somewhat miffed by the one star reviews posted here. Some appear to be from entitled millennial brats and others are just in left field. (they move merchandise.) I have membership at both Sams and Costco. And it is about like shopping at Walmart or Von Maur. In Sams you have to look for prime cuts of meat. In Costco you have to look for Non-prime cuts of meat. The staff are all obviously happy to work there, I know because I have spoken to several of them just about that fact. My one and only Complaint with Costco is they are not up to par on internet shopping. There is no way to tell if an item on the website is available in the store. They do not offer pay online and pickup in store. Maybe that is by design. Every time I fill my car up with gas at Costco Lincoln I fly the bird South West to the closest Whitehead Oil Monopoly and smile as I pay Twenty Cents a gallon Less. read more

I enjoy the variety the store has along with the gas prices and the pharmacy. Their house brand, Kirkland, has some several high quality products that are just as good, if not better, than their brand counterparts. The best thing I enjoy at Costco is their menu. They don't have a huge selection, but the food is always hot and fresh. Where else can you buy 2 hot dogs, sodas and yogurts for $6.22 including tax? I recommend it.. read more

While in Peoria Az. I was able to buy Bill Bailey corned beef. It was the best ever. I returned to Nebraska and went to the Omaha Costco. They do not have it. Today, I tried to call the Lincoln Ne. Costco at 531-333-7559. Unless you want a hearing aid, glasses, a prescription, or a damn pizza, you cannot get to a person. I then tried to do the chat. Filled everything out and click on contact. It goes no where. It seems like you should be able to talk to a person in customer service... not the case. My two option now are to drive to Lincoln,Ne and look for myself, or give up. Folks that work there are so friendly and helpful!! It is always a pleasant experience and so happy to finally get one in Lincoln Nebraska!! Also like their gasoline as they run a better grade of gasoline for cheaper prices!! Highly recommend everyone come to Costco for great food and fine housewares,Tv's, furniture,tires,cosmetics, floral,clothing,books,paper products everything you can think of and more!!
