Me go to Walmart: Get coffee, buy, then leave. Workers are nice, efficient, helpful. The aisles have great quality stuff Been here for like my whole life, never had problems, the Beaumont one, messed up. The Beaumont employees at Walmart: one time, they said that you must have exactly 4 items for self checkout, like is that even legal? Cause I know that's illegal, since I saw people bringing like 50 items to self checkout, the employee didn't care, but said that we couldn't go. Like, she is making us feel like outsiders, not fair. Beaumont Walmart basically sucks, Lumberton has more stuff, at least they HAVE POKEMON CARDS. - This is just about the Walmart one for this paragraph. So I ordered groceries to be delivered between 7pm-9pm to my house. 7:30 I got a text saying my groceries were delivered by Anne. Well they were delivered but to the wrong address yet again. I called 800 Walmart. The only thing they have to say is I'm sorry and we will start a refund. Well I'm sorry doesn't help because now I have to go there at 6am in the morning to buy my groceries because Walmart and spark drivers are incompetent. They are the worst. Walmart rarely has wet wipes for customers to use. This is the flu season people!!!! I have not seen a lack of these wipes at HEB. Also, I saw 2 men bagging groceries and they never scanned them. I asked one of the employees and they said they were "spark" shoppers. I went home and read what a spark shopper was and how they were monitored in the store. This seems to be an opportunity to steal and I can't imagine why Walmart implemented this. I know that my husband and I (over 70) were watched at one day at self check ( they froze the machine). They checked out items and of course, we were not stealing anything. I complained to management. BUT THEY ALLOW SPARK SHOPPERS!! We were just at the Walmart in Lumberton. Trying to buy a biour Angel tree at church. The manager happened to Walk By and was very pleasant and helpful. I asked him about the difference in the on line price vs. in store. They don't honor the on line price. I was surprised. But he was so nice we bought the one in store. read more

This has got to be the absolute worst Walmart I've ever set foot in. The employees are rude, unhappy and unhelpful. It's like walking into a huge store full of Karens. The online shopping people block the aisles and try to run you over, the door greeters stare at you and don't say anything and the self checkout employee points and grunts as you're walking to the register to check out. Also, watch your receipt, these idiots are charging tax on some food and drugs that aren't subject to state sales tax. The ONLY departments worth making a special trip to are electronics and TLE. These employees are the complete bipolar opposite of the rest of the store. Very helpful and friendly. read more

We have been here a thousand times and have never had a complaint. We actually live closer to the Beaumont Walmart but drive to Lumberton because this Walmart is so much better. We have shopped here on Black Friday, just for groceries, and for all other needs. In all the years that we have come here the staff has always been friendly and helpful, the store is clean and organized, and they have been plenty of cashiers. Unlike the Beaumont store they don't search your bags and hold you up from leaving to check your receipt. I highly suggest this Walmart for all of your needs. read more

Extremely disappointed with my visit to Walmart. I have been inquiring about a product for 3 weeks only to be told daily that the product can only be stocked by the third party vendor, Anderson Merchandising, and there was nothing Walmart could do to assist. Today I was told that a manager named Michelle has been giving out the product directly from the stock room to the same customer. I spoke to Michelle, after first telling me I was a lair for saying this happened, she then told me that she was just doing her job to help a customer. Now remember this is a third party product that because of insurance reason can only be stocked by them. I asked to speak to the store manager and have been given the run around for 48 hours. Something is fishy at the Lumberton Walmart and it ain't the fish lol. read more

The employees there are the nicest! I never been to a Walmart that had so many helpful nice employees...and its laid out nice and clean!

Around the end of October, My girlfriend and i went to the walmart in lumberton to buy a tablet.When we arrived in the electronic department no one spoke to us or asked if we needed any help. We stood around the tablets for 15 minutes waiting on someone to assist.Another customer walked up, and she was helped on arrival into the electronic dept. I believe the walmart in lumberton has problem with blacks. All the whites was waited on just fine, We wasnt helped because we were black. We bought the tablet elsewhere. read more
