Pleasantly surprised it was very nice, especially for Miami. Nice neighborhood, clean newer store, large aisles. Thankful we found this place as we needed some last minute items while traveling. Walmart is a life saver.

This location is just like the West Flagler location. It's too small, poor selection, one entrance/exit. Parking was nightmare. I'll avoid this location!

Love these kind of cookies :)

The place is clean and pretty well stocked. I save money when I come here. I can buy so much more at Walmart.

Every time I've shopped here, there's always some issue at the cash register that causes a 5-10 minute delay. Unbelievable.

No one here speaks English and there's no one around to help. Lines are long and only one manager. I'd avoid this location.

I've been a lover of Martha of Miami merchandise since I first discovered them at Croquetapalooza…read moreseveral years back. I was ecstatic to find out that what began a small endeavor has turned into a live one-stop shop. Seriously speaking, Martha managed to get into a niche that no one really knew was needed until it was. I mean, come on now, who doesn't love her stuff? It's a plethora of products all distinctly unique and so utterly Cuban. Throughout the years, I've gotten a shirt or two at events from her, but now I can say I checked out the actual shop and it's so quirky. I love it. T-shirts, mugs, pins, random trinkets that all change with the season. So original! And can we say easy to get her items regardless of location? She ships via USPS, although I did originally go for pick-up for my first of two online orders. See, it began like this. I started my Christmas shopping. I found an espresso set that I thought was totally Miami and a perfect gift. I had moved up to Pembroke Pines a few months back, and well, I didn't feel like paying shipping and was going to be in the area anyway. Ended up picking up the espresso set and saw more of the shop, and made a purchase online later that day. This time for a Christmas caja china that counts down 'till Noche Buena. For the second order I did shipping because I was going to be out of town and just figured it would be easier. Turned out I was right as it came and my neighbor took care of it for me while I was gone. Loved the care they put into the packaging, both in and out of the store. You can tell that each package is sent out with some tender-loving care. Will continue to support them wholeheartedly, especially seeing as this slowly and surely is becoming a shop synonymous of all things Miami.

As a recent convert to thrift store shopping, I must say, I'm impressed by this particular…read moreGoodwill. I have been to other Goodwill locations and really just kept my hands to myself, worried that I might touch the wrong thing and absorb the staleness of many of the items around me. However, at the Bird Road location, I'm browsing through racks right and left, loading up 10 items on each arm before racing over to the dressing room in a cloud of giddiness over my $5 clothing choices. The first time I came here, I was very pleasantly surprised. My husband and I had been looking for Halloween costumes, and he really worked hard to convince me that thrift stores were the way to go. I finally gave in, and was thrilled to find a very flapper-y dress for $5 that perfected my 20s getup. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to find his 20s gangster look, because all of the suits were size XXXL (who are these goodhearted giant people, donating their castoffs to Goodwill?). We returned another day, just since we were out on Bird Road and trying to kill time (most likely avoiding any real life duties). We parted ways and scoured our respective sections to meet later and compare notes. I always feel sneaky in stores like this, like I'm tricking someone into selling me perfectly good pieces of clothing for $2... "Mwa ha ha! This dress still has the original tag on it, which says $65, and I'm getting it for 5 bucks! I'm so sneaky!!" The employee working the fitting rooms was wonderful. She spoke both English and Spanish, and kept people from cutting in line. She apologized for people taking way too long, but also let everyone take in however many items they had (there's supposedly a 3-item limit). Anyway, at the end of the day, I came home with a cute sweater, 2 going-out dresses, and a tunic top. My husband got 3 pairs of slacks for work and 2 dress shirts. We spent $50 total. We received our purchases in a Destination Maternity bag and ran to the car, hoping no one we knew would see us and start rumors.
