I just wanted to do a curb-side pickup for a Christmas present. The curb-side pickup was absolutely filled with cars who were clearly not picking anything up. Went to customer service for help and they said they could help me after I finished with my shopping so I did exactly that. The Automative department is under new supervision and it has nothing to do with him personally. Personally he's a great person, professional and extremely polite! My issue is with Walmart regional district Management or regional supervisor. Get on your job, Hell, roll up your selves and you'll be rewarded when the store hits its year end numbers! Walmart has run every small business away, well step it up, there is no reason for an oil change to take 3.5 hours or a tire rotation to take 2 hours after the oil change. This is my fav Walmart in the city. I'm not exactly sure why, but definitely sure it's my fav. The store is clean, organized, customer service just great and I can find what I want. The clearance is clearly marked. The market section/deli/bakery/grocery has fresh veggies and fruit. Fresh bread and grocery aisle are well stocked. Yeah, this is definitely my Walmart. I went in and collected some groceries. It took about an hour. I realized I didn't have my food stamp card. "No biggie. I can just type it in at the register like I've done before. Plus, I have my ID in my purse" I went to the self-check and asked for help after I bagged my items. The lady informed me that I couldn't do that here and I assumed I just couldn't at self checkout because I know I've done this before. I went over to regular register and this wretched and agitated woman asked her coworker "Caren" came over and she said "Well you need to go home and GET IT". She walked off with my cart, not even letting me pay for some of my items. I stood there in shock. Needless to say, my family did not eat tonight because of Caren and Walmart. read more

I would give 0 stars if it were an option on their delivery and overall customer service both corporate and in-store. I'll address the delivery first. The company that is contracted by Walmart is terrible! Without exaggeration. almost all my deliveries have been late, not come at all, or were delivered elsewhere. Walmart needs to have a sit down with this service. I've been told that there has been issues with their system being down and no one was able to be assigned deliveries. Jello? Can you at least email them, us? At the very least pick up a phone to those who are waiting for their deliveries instead of absolutely doing NOTHING! TERRIBLE! Now, as to corporate and letting anyone know what is happening at their stores, GOOD LUCK. I see no long future with Walmart as they continue not care about their customers or their employees. Got my tires changed back in October. I came about an hour or so before closing, but I was assured that it was no problem at all.. Shortly after having the tires put on I noticed my car shaking as I was driving because the tires had carelessly been put on. Fast forward to today, I'm getting my tires rotated and I have the kind of tires that have a lock on them. The key to the lock was never put back into my car after being used by the employees at this walmart. So careless. So aggravating. Will NEVER be using this auto department again & if you care about the health of your vehicle I wouldn't recommend you go here. read more

You've been in one Walmart, you've been in them all! Nothing about this Walmart stood out for me outside of the ones I frequent in Las Vegas. I did like the food choices they have, as they have products that are obviously only available in the south. Overall cleanliness of the store was acceptable, I guess. Way better than their other location near Dauphin. Now that place? Whoa!!! Oh and I loved the overabundance of Alabama Crimson Tide gear. I am a big fan. In Vegas, our Walmarts don't go this far with UNLV merch, but maybe they should? If I lived in Mobile or Prichard, this would probably be my destination Walmart. I rarely come to this super center anymore due to the lack of customer service. A vast majority of the employees are LAZY & RUDE. They don't want to get off their backsides long enough to help a customer find something like they are suppose to bc TECHNICALLY they have to. They can't just point you in the direction of where you should go. My husband use to be a Walmart employee. I've made management well aware of the issue but they don't seem to care. You can't hardly find an associate at designated areas in which they should be. Oh and don't bother calling bc like I said no one is where they should be an you could all the departments an you'll end up getting hung up on before anyone answers. I had an excellent experience at this Walmart. The manufacturer of a TV I purchased did not stand behind their warranty. After explaining the situation to Rochelle, she went above and beyond to find a way to help me. In the end, Walmart did refund my money allowing me to buy a replacement TV. Rochelle was willing to listen to my story, ask excellent questions and ultimately took action to help. Genuinely trying to help is the most important attribute of excellent customer service. I highly recommend doing business with the Walmart Supercenter on Schillinger Road in Mobile Alabama!!!! read more

What they need to do is open or check out lanes instead of letting useless employees stand around who don't bother or care to help.

I only come here if I need something past 12am when the neighborhood Walmart closes, which is sometimes frequent considering I'm a college student. I don't understand why this place hasn't been closed or completely taken over with new management. Almost every time I get food I have to check and make sure it's not expired and 9/10 it is. Employees are never nice and if it's late there's a long line to checkout and at least 10 workers just walking around doing nothing. Super frustrating. 2/10. read more

Walmart itself usually has what I'm looking for. But the auto service center leaves a lot to be desired. They are slow and rude and misquote prices at times. They even called and said we needed a new tire and it was meant for another customer. My daughter about bought a tire she didn't need with her rent money. They need to pay better attention. I use the app weekly,and have been told that if I use the phone app that I'd be taken first before the others not using the app. Well here I stand after the worker called her friend to go before me. It's nice that it's not too far from the freeway. So if you happened to be on the area while road tripping, save some money buy buying your food supplies here. The WORST Customer Service I have ever experienced in my entire life. No exaggeration. I returned two items I bought for a gift card due to me not having my receipt. The middle aged employee named GINGER was extremely rude to me and others when dealing with her. She had a constant bad attitude as if she hated her job. Finally she gave me a gift card refund of my initial purchase, or so I thought. As I went to use my gift card only 2 days later it was NO money on it at all. I went back to the other Walmart location and told GINGER what had happened and she took my name,number, and receipt at the time of my refund. I spoke to a manager and he said they'd check camera footage etc and contact me the next day. He didn't so I waited a few more days and called them back and spoke to a different manager and she took my information and said the same thing and did NOTHING. I waited nearly a week and returned and waited nearly 45 minutes to speak to someone. She halfway looked into it and left it at that. I called again complaining GINGER stole my money or swapped my card with someone else. Finally I spoke to another manager and she tracked the card as she found out someone used it in Pensacola, FL and spent ALL of MY money. She said they couldn't do anything about it because it must've been used at Walmart's gas station and not IN store where cameras are. What I'm getting to is these people are crooked. They are NOT helpful and offer NO customer service. I was never refunded MY money and she said that there was nothing more that could be done. This went on for over 3 weeks with no results. Walmart stole my money OR indirectly gave it to someone else and never gave it back to me. I do not recommend shopping at this location or any Walmart location period. A multi-billion dollar corporation essentially took my money and I couldn't do anything about it. Walmart on Schillinger Rd in Mobile AL is TERRIBLE. read more

When I experience something outside the goal posts (either side) I write it about it. This review is to highlight a young employee who was 2 for 2 in helping me. I use the word "helping" because it was on his advice that I came to be completely satisfied with my purchases. His name is Kevin and he works in the electronics and TV department. I had purchased a TV at Walmart.com and in truth was not happy with it. The picture was mediocre at best. As I was in Walmart for some other reason I happened into the TV section and we started to talk. He pointed out a slightly larger TV of a different brand (a little more expensive) and said if he was buying a TV this is the one he would buy. I pointed out to him that I had just purchased a TV on Walmart.com and was not happy with it (I think there was something wrong with it but was not sure) and he advised taking the new one home and then only keeping the one that played better. I followed his advice and am now really satisfied with my purchase. I also had an old TV that needed a simple plug in digital antenna. He again was on the mark. So, there is hope at Walmart with people like this. At all times he was professional, knowledgable, not overbearing and friendly. I think he really should be training your associates but for now (as usually someone like this advances up the chain pretty quickly)...thank you..... read more

I quit shopping at this location mainly because a lot of the people who worked there were complete a**holes! There were a number of times I'd ask an associate a question and they acted irritated and gave me an attitude like I was bothering them. I've been shopping at the Walmart on Cottage Hill and Dawes for over 8 years now and the service is MUCH better! read more

LINDA in Auto Center....you reminded my wife and I today of why we never shop at this Wal-Mart. When we merely stopped by the counter to say we were looking to purchase four tires for our car, this rude clerk AUDIBLY sighed at us and rolled her eyes. (Too hard to do your job???)
