Fresh coffee and tea was just being made, which was music to my ears. I was needing both of them! The restrooms were very clean with the heat turned up nice and toasty as it was very cold outside! It was quite nice to be able to sit on a warm stool vs. a cold stool! :-) I would highly recommend this Love's and I'm a huge Love's fan!

There is a rather stern statement on the door saying "absolutely no admittance unless accompanied by an authorized Wayfare representative", but apparently anyone and everyone looking for a job here is just supposed to go about their merry way and walk right in. Thus they completely disregard this statement on the door, which should be a very good litmus test if would-be employees (or the general public) know how to carefully follow instructions and safety protocols. Three attempts at making a simple phone call to let them know I was there also led to nothing. Days later, I got the usual corporate America half-hearted damage control narrative when I expressed my disgust with their utter lack of professionalism, but what's done is done. But this begs the question, would you trust consumer products from a company which completely disregards its own facilities safety protocols and employees which fail to follow clear instructions? I wouldn't either. Avoid Wayfare.

It was a substantial cookie with good flavor. Bookguy opted for a strawberry banana smoothie. It didn't knock his socks off but was refreshing without causing brain freeze. We really lucked out with our timing since it was 1:55 on Saturday and they closed at 2:00. No doubt we will be back since we like to support small, local businesses.

I was expecting something magical like the ice cream shop in lemurs, Iowa but I was severely disappointed. it seemed like a drugstore from the 1990s with no plans on changing. I ordered a cinnamon roll and a coffee. it was fine considering the entire snack cost me two dollars. But the cinnamon roll tasted like something that could've been pulled out of a package at a convenience store and the same goes for the coffee.
