Went here on Sunday August 24th 2025 with my parents to do some shopping. We chose this location because it was close to Seaside Furniture in North Myrtle. This was our first time in this location as well. Store was clean and organized, and easy to find items. We looked in the home section most of the time and brought a toaster oven, knives, a carpet, and a loofah that was $1.00. To pay, we went to self checkout, and paid for our items there. I fell using their family bathroom by the photo lab back in November. I let them know the toilet seat was almost falling off. I'm in a wheelchair with no legs and only 1 prosthetic. When I'm done on the toilet I need to shift my weight from side to side to pull up my underwear and my shorts. Well I fell again using that restroom for the same reason of the seat being EXTREMELY loose. I would just use the women's restroom but I have my 5 year old son with me and he likes to unlock the stall door. read more

Male pharmacy tech on day shift was extremely rude to me, shouted at me and at Medicare representative on a 3-way call. Claimed he tried to reach my doctor for a corrected insulin prescription. Earlier in the day he made me pay $88 for a vial of insulin which should have only been $35 according to Medicare.gov. I am a customer who can only procure my insulin for insulin-dependent diabetes using an insulin pump at Walmart and this male pharmacy tech demeaned me, shouted at me, lied that he tried to reach my doctor. I reached my doctor with one call. No manager should tolerate verbal abuse of a customer. read more

We got groceries for 200 dollars one of the best experiences I've ever had at a Walmart

I was there on vacation February 19 2025. Hoping to get some new tires since the weather was about to turn cold and possible snow and ice. So the young man told me "Sir it might be a minute". slang for it make take awhile. I said okay since with the weather cold and wet, I wouldn't be doing much that day. Plus I can stay an extra day if needed. So after a three hour wait and seeing other customers who were there after me getting serviced. I found the Man I'd talked to ask what was taking so long and why I'd been skipped over. That's when he re-enterated 'Sir I said it was going to be a minute" . Sure but I thought you meant an hour ,maybe two at the most I stated. That's when he let me know they do theirs by appointments. I wish he told me that right from the start. I could have left and went back to me Hotel or even made an appointment for the next day. That is three hours wasted that I can't get back. read more

Talk about helpful and customer service oriented! Jessie, a lovely salesperson, went to great lengths to satisfy our request for a case of seltzer that just arrived and was wrapped on a pallet. She personally opened and dismantled the entire shipment to get to our preferred flavor, which of course, was way down on the bottom! She did it happily and pleasantly and we so appreciated her! Way to go Walmart! Wish our local NY stores had service like that! read more

Worse Walmart for curbside pickup, I was suppose to pick my groceries up on 7-16 at 6pm, the app waited until I was at the store to tell me my order was TWO HOURS delayed drove by and every single parking spot was full with people standing outside their cars angrily waiting. So I rescheduled for the next day at 3. Order got delayed again. Then when it was ready once again no parking spots. When I finally got a spot in took a whole HOUR to get my order. Absolutely ridiculous! I've been doing curbside since covid and spent $300 a week on groceries. Seems like Walmart is getting selfish and taking on more orders then they can handle or just have crap employees. My hubby and I have a love-hate and hate-hate relationship with Walmart. I have found the Walmarts in 2 cities to be great - Naples and Johnson City (if memory serves me right). Both were able to get me great deals in a pinch while on a vacation. Both were not crowded and the clientele were great. This one is not the same case. On the contrary - much like the Walmart at home, this one is horrible. The parking lot - thought huge - is jammed. The store - though huge - is jammed. I once again needed clothes while on vacation. The women's section was in disarray. I just needed a couple pairs of shorts or skirts. Casual but nice as I forgot to pack mine. The sizes and selection were random and scattered. I lucked into finding 2 options both in or near my size. I tried both on quickly and they both fit. 2 for 2. And I think those were the only 2 I would have ever found. I met up with the hubby who had located a couple things he needed and gave up before getting the one thing he went for - just had to get out of there. The ones were WAY LONG - so we opted for the self scan, each only having 2 or few items. That line was short - but it was amazing the people scanning their items for carts overflowing with crap. Really? We both went to one register when our turn came and each scanned our own items out quickly. We showed our receipts to the person checking bags and started the HIKE to the car. We could not get out soon enough. It was a MADHOUSE. On a Saturday night. Unreal. I keep trying to give Walmart a chance, but they just keep failing. Sorry Walmart, we will not be back again. Oh - the one positive, both things I bought were on sale so out the door for about $20. read more

This store is much larger than the store on Bultman. The lot is much wider than the other store too. I like it because you can do grocery pickup, where the one on Bultman does not have that feature. I don't see much difference in between the two other than one has more. Go to either one, both are fine. read more

The absolute worst shopping experience I have ever had. I had a full basket and was in line at check out. Two women, I can't say ladies, cut in front of me from the aside to the right. I complained and the checker ignore the situation. When I finally made it to the checkout I asked to speak to a manager and was told to go find him. As I left I asked the greeter to see a manager and he asked why. I explained and he said you should have run her over, I would have with that advice I left disgusted. This Walmart is conveniently located near all the North Myrtle Beach hotels and Resorts. It is a Supercenter so there are hot food, pre-made salads, sandwishes, heros and items for the beach. The location easy to spot from the main road and the parking lot is very large. All the standard stuff you find in most Supercenters. And the bathrooms are always clean. read more

Walmart is dirty outside. Literally dirty. Trash on sidewalks and parking lot as well as spills and large dirty spots. The "cash" registers in ALL of the self checks? Don't take "cash". Amazed at how little Walmart has here... we forgot a few key items on our trip down, one of the major ones being a ice tea maker (we live on ice tea). BEWARE, I bought a pellet rifle from Walmart. It would not cock at all. I took it back within one week. The customer service stated they would not take it back or even exchange it. If I could give 0 stars I probably would. We come to Myrtle Beach once a year and frequently shop here to pick up things we need for our vacation. Today I came to pick up photos that we were printing for my Great-grandmother who is about to turn 100. The photos were done quickly after I sent them and I arrived around 3:05 to pick them up. There was not one person at the photo counter, which is understandable. However three separate people walked past me and didn't bother to assist or even offer to help me. Finally, the fourth woman asked if I'd been helped and she called someone to come help me. I waited another 10 minutes or so and then decided to walk around to see if I could find someone to help me. No luck. I walked back to the photo center and a man (I didn't read his name tag) asked "can I help you?" And I said yes I am here to pick up photos I sent this morning online. He went to the drawer to look for it and I told him my name and spelled it for him. He then yelled "WHAT!?" So I repeated myself. When he found it he said, For Kelly? I said yes that's me. Then this rude man proceeded to literally toss my photos on the counter and said "here ya go." In a rude tone. Normally I would ignore this atrocious customer service because honestly, it's so rare to find good customer service these days. But as someone that works in customer service, I would personally be appalled if one of my employees acted that way and if I heard that multiple employees walked by without even offering assistance to someone. Do better for your next customers please. read more

I have no reason to defend WalMart but I do want to comment about the reality of the situation.. In this location Saturday is checkin day for most of the houses and condos.. Almost all the people want to buy their groceries that day. So Walmart is always packed here on Saturday night. It is a resort town. Secondly if they are packed they must be doing something right that people still want to go there. There is a TJ Maxx in the same shopping complex, a Home Goods nearby and several other grocery stores for example, Publix, Food Lion, and Kroger.. However, on Saturday, they may be crowded too. If you can work around the Saturday afternoon night shopping it will be much easier for you here. read more

When I tell you that I had a bad experience, this is a complete understatement...At approx 5:50pm, my family visited the WalMart here. Upon arriving home, I realized that we left a pack of Tylenol there at the store. So I went back to the Customer Service to explain the situation. Upon explaining the issue, their employee, Iveth, was very unprofessional and rude...I was unaware that I had the wrong SKU number but the way her attitude was it made me highly uncomfortable. So after getting the correct item, I went home. So after 15 minutes arriving home, I was unaware that an entire bag was left at the store (2 packs of lasagna and a pack of trash bags); so I went back to Wal-Mart again where I was greeted again by Iveth who instead of telling me to get the Loss Prevention manager, I get a bunch of unnecessary remarks that wasn't helpful at all. Then she got Jennifer, a supervisor (yellow vest) who I gave the receipt to who then stated, let me check the SKU number...so I waited for 15 minutes so when I saw her and asked her about the receipt , she answered with a negative tone, "I do t have your receipt, the Loss Prevention Manager has it and is looking at the video." First of all, why do the LP manager had to look at a video surveillance when other customers had their returns/exchanges honored without any hesitation. So finally the LP manager, Roy (who was very nice and helpful) confirmed that I did leave a bag here at the store. Believe me, I have no reason to steal from your store but I am angry and appalled at the way I was treated here at this store. Wal-Mart must go better. read more

Took my van for an oil change. The gentleman that Chechen me in was very nice & informative. I was told an hour wait, which I expected. An hour after walking around, they called me to the counter to tell me the bolt on the oil pan was stripped & they couldn't do it. Wish I could have known that sooner. Also, I passed 6 associates & only 1 of them greeted me. Having worked at Walmart for six years previously, I know of there "10 foot" rule. If a customer is w/n 10 feet of you, then greet them & ask how you can help. This was not my experience today. Nice store, good selection. Customer service could be strengthened. read more

This is a usual Wal-Mart. Friendly staff and a nice selection of foods, beverages, etc. Sometimes the staff can be unfriendly but usually I am comfortable. They also have a built in Subway. They are always busy, be aware. I recommend shopping here. read more
