Their meat tends to spoil a bit quickly; I attribute this to having such a huge variety of products under the counter, where pathogens could possibly transfer between products. Produce is better than Family Fare but worse than Bakers. Product selection isn't amazing--there's often only one or two brands in a particular category.

I try to avoid them, however due to a few factors: * They can get very busy. Body-slamming strangers in the aisles busy. * Pedestrian safety is terrible. Cars zoom down the main traffic lane right in front of the entrance. If you park anywhere to the east of the main entrance, there is no sidewalk due to the poor design of their pharmacy pickup lane. There is no choice but to walk in the middle of the busy roadway. * Interior layout is inefficient and chaotic--it's clearly optimized according to marketing principles (make the customer walk as much as possible) rather than customer friendliness. Aisles are tall and narrow. Between this and the crowds, people generally seem more irritable here than at the grocery stores I usually visit. * Even though their selection is good in some areas, as often as not they don't have the item I'm looking for.

What a difference it makes to be able to glide through the aisles without people pushing and shoving past you. Second, it's clean. The carts are nice (no rickety wheels here) and there are a good amount of smaller ones that come in handy for those quick trips. Plus, they don't clog up the aisles either. Finally, I LOVE the self check lanes. They aren't all clustered together and there are two sizes. The small ones for those in and out stops and my personal favorite, the larger ones with a belt length like a regular check out lane. If you're a crazy organized bagger like me, you will greatly appreciate these lanes. My husband probably does too because our self bagging process has improved immensely since discovering this, which means I'm not nagging him to bag better or get out of my way. Definitely make sure you have the customer card because those discounts do add up - I've had as much as $14 of savings in one trip. You also earn cents off the gallon at Quik Trip. Another reviewer mentioned the Direct Your Dollars program which I hadn't investigated yet, but I will now. My son has a drug that must be taken everyday, not missed. The doctor called in a new Rx because he was out. They "said" they called him and left a message the day before I called them but I checked his call logs and his voicemails and they assuredly did not call him. They then called me a liar that they did call. I lost my cool and started yelling at them as I have solid proof they didn't call and they treat me like I'm the problem. Before that happened they told me they could only fill 23 days of 30 because of insurance purposes but they not have 20 and didn't order more when they got the Rx in. One, fall on your sword if you screw up, don't tell the patient they are a liar. Two, if it is a drug you cannot be without for a day follow-up. Three, if you don't have enough to fill an Rx, order more! Good riddance! You treat people like numbers and not people or patients. You don't even understand the drugs you are giving out. Also, maybe update the app so you can give people more information that in progress when it isn't. Like messaging or need to call. Someway to flag a person when you either misdial a number or pretend to call people.
