I visit this store on occasion because of their good produce selection and because they sometimes carry products not carried by other stores. I try to avoid them, however due to a few factors: * They can get very busy. Body-slamming strangers in the aisles busy. * Pedestrian safety is terrible. Cars zoom down the main traffic lane right in front of the entrance. If you park anywhere to the east of the main entrance, there is no sidewalk due to the poor design of their pharmacy pickup lane. There is no choice but to walk in the middle of the busy roadway. * Interior layout is inefficient and chaotic--it's clearly optimized according to marketing principles (make the customer walk as much as possible) rather than customer friendliness. Aisles are tall and narrow. Between this and the crowds, people generally seem more irritable here than at the grocery stores I usually visit. * Even though their selection is good in some areas, as often as not they don't have the item I'm looking for. read more

Be cautious when purchasing cooked food from the deli department. I've bought chicken gizzards on three separate occasions, and each time, several pieces still had the green stomach lining attached -- a clear sign they weren't properly cleaned. After eating them, I also felt sick within a few hours. I called the deli to express my concern, and the backup manager informed me that they simply dump the gizzards straight from the bag into the breading and then cook them -- no cleaning or prep involved. This is extremely concerning from both a food safety and quality standpoint. Please take this into account before purchasing. read more

From Christmas trees to every food item you need...so many sales items but a lot of them were gone at this location today...we still managed to fill our trunk though .....cashier helped me with a gift card purchase (never buy them) explained keeping the separate receipt...pretty crowed ...but we love their fresh deli ..for sliced turkey and lunch meat!! Kudo's to Bakers and parent company Krogers for finally giving in and accepting Apple Pay. This store has long been my go to location for fresh meat, soft drinks, coffee, and frozen food. I've very seldom needed service, but the very few times I have, it was fast and efficient. I've been coming to this location even before it was a Bakers (previously Albertsons's) and the store has changed a lot over the years, not all for the better. But the current configuration, now that I am used to it, is generally well laid out. I used their pharmacy for years (my insurance company forced me to use their mail order subscription service) and always had great service. read more

My parents used this supermarket for the past 16 years. Pharmacy This used to be a good budget pharmacy, but recently they started charging 15-20% more for their prescriptions compared to what's listed in the GoodRx and SingleCare apps; this has happened to my family twice already and this guy working there always finding some lame excuse for the price increase. I think it is Baker's themselves that is actually increasing prices not some other external reason. Let's see what happens in the next refill. If it happens again then it is time for my parents to move to another pharmacy. DON'T BUY THEIR SUSHI! They are selling day-old (at least!) sushi as fresh and for full price. I first noticed this about a month ago and spoke to the store manager about it, she said she wasn't aware of it but that she'd take care of it. Today it happened again. Their sushi department is very carefully covering up yesterday's date sticker with today's on their sushi, which is gross, not to mention a rip off as they still charge full price for it. There's no way to know how many days they're willing to extend the sell by date this way and I have little confidence they're keeping track of it. Avoid the sushi, at least on principle if nothing else. This is straight up dishonest and disgusting (and the first instance also happened to a friend of mine on the same day, so it's not just an oopsie with the labeler). P.S. Supposedly their sushi department is an independent company and the rest of the store seems okay otherwise, but I'm extremely disappointed this has been allowed to continue. read more

This Bakers at Twincreek has gotten a facelift recently and now has that scan and go technology for shopping. If you have the app on your phone then you pick up a scanner at the front of the store scan all of your items while you shop-and then you can pay right away without standing in line. This location also often has discounted flowers for bouquets in their floral section which I find that other Bakers and Hy-Vee don't have. Other than that it's just your standard Baker's but these two things give it an edge over some of the older stores. read more

On 11/9/23 at 9:25 am I purchased gas using my CC. Then, I decided to buy some jerky. One of these days the guy who took my cash for the jerky (or any purchase) will a) act as if he wants to be there (e.g at least pretend to be pleasant), and b) say thank you. Today, I waited a bit, after which I had to say "thank you" to him (I guess for me having been given the privilege to give Baker's my money for a product?), to which he replied "You're welcome". Isn't it supposed to work the other way? The associate is supposed to thank me for my business, to which I reply you're welcome, right? Clean. And updated. However!!!!! The person who was the in charge of the building and construction planning needs to be fired!! Why you ask? Because the parking lot is a hill!!! They were too cheap to level the parking lot. Target next door leveled theirs! So you have to push a super heavy cart full of groceries up a hill. I've seen senior citizens struggle with this. I've even stopped coming here for that reason. I forget but I am soon reminded when I am performing an Olympic event to push my cart uphill. One might think that the employees can can do it buuuuttt they hardly have enough workers to bag the groceries. My kids have to bag my groceries because bakers is cheap and doesnt hire enough baggers. I have to allow this in order to not protest and wait 30 mins (done this in past). So no one to bag and no one to help take out on their hill parking lot! They need to have more staff bagging groceries. They need to level the parking lot! Or set up curbside grocery loading (like how grocery stores use to do it) since their parking lot is a hill. Oh yea.... they always have expired food. I get home and realize it. It is a waste of time to bring back a .99 cent yogurt so I just trash it... but this happens at both Bellevue locations. I've shopped at other bakers in omaha and they do not have the identified issues. They did overcharge me on a purchase but with no hesitation or questions refunded the price. I have also used the bakery and deli for a custom order for a party of 500 people. Everything was done on time. It was also perfectly packed. There was a misunderstanding with the design on the cake order but it was a honest mistake and I should of showed a picture. I will give a 4 or 4+ to the staff. They are very engaging and actively ask the customer if there is anything they can help with. Some of the best customer interaction I have encountered at any store. The fuel points you earn via your Baker"s Card purchasing groceries is also of good value overall. You can find pretty decent specials week to week by using the Baker"s Digital App and/or the weekly flyer. The biggest shortfall of Baker"s is the overall pricing of their products. It is the most expensive grocer in the area. As such we purchase select items from this store and conduct the majority of our shopping elsewhere. This Baker's is close to home, but with the very small amount of organic produce and grocery section, I must fulfill the rest of my shopping needs elsewhere if I come here. I do come here from time to time though, if I'm really in need of something, like milk. They do have a few different brands of organic milk here. We are a military family, and while the Commissary where we came from has a more variety, this is the best I have found locally without having to go to Whole Paycheck (Whole Foods). I do wish they carried juicing carrots, and a few other things, but over all it is hands downs better than HyVee organic wise. for the ret of the store; the workers are friendly, sometimes creepy, but friendly. I was a weekly shopper at Baker's at Twin Creek, and will now start shopping elsewhere. The past several weeks, I've had to shop around the stockers, however, today was the worst. Why would they have stockers in every department, stocking at 10:00 AM on a Saturday morning? It was difficult to try to move around them, and then when I was trying to find something, I felt rushed, and gave up because I was in their way. This happens every time I shop on the weekends. They had one cashier, working today, so I resorted to checking myself out with a weeks worth of groceries. I had alcohol in my cart, so of course had to have the self check out clerk ring it up, which I understand, but she walked away from the register I was on and we couldn't finish our transaction, because she didn't finish her part, so I had to track her down again. I tried speaking to the store manager, but he blamed it on the stocking manager. I would think the store manager would be over the stocking manager. Well my complaints went to deaf ears. This has been my home grocery store for quite some time. I have a love/ hate relationship with this Baker's and wish there were more shopping options close to home. They just did a remodel which has seemed to only add to the negatives....but I'll weigh it out here.... Positives Expanding organic food and produce sections Love that they added a cheese counter Boar's Head deli meats and cheese Simple Truth brand Grass Fed Beef and other Simple Truth Products Clean Decent Customer Service Negatives The new layout doesn't seem to flow and after years of shopping there I still find it confusing and time consuming to navigate. The shelves are higher, causing a short lady like myself to either beg strangers for help or scale the shelves to retrieve top shelf items. (if you find yourself stuck w/ out help, more often than not, there is a tall man that works at the flower counter that can assist) They added a bunch of self check out lanes reducing the amount of regular check out lanes, which causes longer lines. They are currently building a baker's gas station in the parking lot which causes traffic issues. They seem to have narrowed down their selection (brand wise) since the remodel, a lot of my old favorites are not carried anymore. This location is definitely the best Baker's in Bellevue. Since their recent renovations the store is much cleaner, brighter, & easier to navigate. They have more product options than other stores in the area & their all-natural section & alcohol selection have been greatly expanded. The organization of their products doesn't always make sense to me, but the employees are usually available and willing to help me hunt down an item or two. The parking lot is kind of a disaster when they're busy (i.e. Husker game days) now that they have a gas station, but it's a small price to pay for an efficient grocery store. read more

Bakers is not that bad nd is open 24/7 LIKE: They have an healthy food section of a few aisles of gluten free, dairy free and vegan/vegetarian goodies. . They have a large selection of organics fruits and veggies etc and the best part is it's pretty close to my house. Don't get me wrong this place is no "Trader Joes" or "Whole Foods " le sigh :''( but this place is a great and ultimately saves me gas .... LITERALLY REALLY LIKE: You get gas points. For every dollar you spin you get a point. (Some times they offer double points days) 100 points equals .10 of each gallon. If you, shop there frequently you can get up to 2K points ($2) off the gallon. Now that's what I really like. All about saving my cheddar. Oh they actually have people working at the check out DONT LIKE : Some of the prices are Re-DIC! Ok people, I understand the dollar is getting weaker and inflation is emerging but really are frozen dinners really going to cost $3-$5. and is fresh broccoli really $2 Um this is not o.k. I have been using ClickList at this Baker's store since they started the service. I can't sing their praises loud enough. The employees are respectful, courteous, prompt and helpful. On the occasions when they don't have a product I requested they substitute something better. Often they give me items that save me money -- many times I find the bill is less than I expected. This is a remodeled Baker's, and let me tell you, it is NICE! Usually, when I go to the grocery store in Bellevue, I go to the Baker's on Galvin Rd. since it is right across from my work. However, I found myself going to this Baker's since I needed some quality steak for Valentine's Day. I was very surprised at how nice and clean everything was in the store. There was a nice selection of any product you could possibly need! The meat counter was incredible! I got two 16oz bone-in ribeyes, and they were incredible! The one disappointing thing was the lack of a large craft beer selection, which, if remedied, would put my rating at 5 stars! I will definitely be coming back here! read more

The Baker's twin creek has gone down hill so much in the past year that I have decided it's time to switch where my grocery money goes and here's why. PARKING lot-- full of pot holes and litter. Often the trash at the front door is over flowing with trash. PRODUCE- sometimes a good selection but the last two times the selection was very scarce. The misting system's timing needed adjustment or something as the produce(lettuce and radishes) was soggy. PETS- not service dogs or horse that I have seen in there. I'm talking about the little misbehaving dog that I saw. Management says they can't do anything about it as it is illegal to ask if it is a service animal. MEATS - my "favorite" sale on meat-- buy one get on free is a hoax!! They double the price of the meat so you are paying exactly the same price you would if it was regular price, however if your second one is less in value you will actually pay more per pound! The last thing is the NEW ice cream station in the back! Last week I saw a kid, arms and face inside the freezer that holds balls of ice cream! It's self serve! Who thought self serve (reach in and take out unwrapped balls of ice cream) is a good idea??? When people are filming people opening ice cream and drinks and licking and spitting in it . This feature is just disgusting and after seeing a kid half way in it, I cant even imagine people eating it. I did call about this and apparently nothing was done! So the reason the store still gets a 2 is because often I have really good customer service. read more

While the prices at Bakers are reasonably comparible to other stores in the area, the customer service is severely lacking. They have a decent selection of the items we normally purchase though so we find ourselves using Bakers from time to time. Compared to our favorite employee-owned grocery, Bakers' employees seem to struggle with concepts like customer service, courtesy, and helpfulness. Several times I have checked out early in the morning (6-7am) and was told that I had to use the self-checkout... it didn't matter that I had 40+ items in my cart. Plus, the self-checkout counters barely hold a dozen items (and I HATE that everything has to remain on them until payment is processed). When I've complained about the self-checkout system, I get told that I need to learn how to use them and adapt - not that they're troublesome. I avoid Bakers when possible read more

This review is strictly for the sushi section. They do a great job making fresh sushi daily and keeping their shelves stocked. If they do not have what you want in the cooler all you have to do is ask and they will happily make one on the spot for you with no extra charge. Decent prices and great flavors.
