This is mostly just for walmart.com. I ordered an iPod shuffle on Sunday, July 23. It was supposed to be in the store and ready for pickup on Wednesday, July 26. I got an email that the product was on back order THE MORNING AFTER it was supposed to be here. We called and asked about it and we bounced around here and there for about 45 mins and 40 of that was on hold. Staff are rude and very short tempered. They have whole unstocked sections and they also seem to be understaffed pretty significantly.

I went to the Parker, Colorado Walmart on July 27th and purchased several items including 9 quarts of Gatorade. I checked my receipt when I got home and noticed that for every Gatorade, there was an additional ten cents added for a "CRV FEE". I called the store to ask what this charge was and was told that "the vendor" had made a mistake, that this fee only applied in California and that if I brought in my receipt, I'd be refunded. I said OK but, having waited in the customer service line in the past, I didn't plan to waste my time for 90 cents. I went back today (July 31st) to purchase more things including more Gatorade. When I scanned the first Gatorade I noticed that there was still a ten cent "CRV FEE" applied. I brought this to the clerk's attention. He canceled the purchase for me and called for the manager on duty. When she arrived, she informed me that there was "a ticket in for this", that there was nothing she could do to get this corrected and that she had been told not to give any refunds for this ongoing issue. To be sure, I went through the customer service line and spoke to the clerk who called the same manager who reiterated what she had already told me. Assuming that what I was told about this fee only being applicable in California is true, it seems like the people who run this store are fine with taking money they are not entitled to from their customers. I'm sad to say that I've spent tens of thousands of dollars at Walmart over the years but they lost my business today. read more

I will never understand management philosophy at Walmart. Clerks obviously on the clock, yet standing around either talking or doing nothing. One register was staffed the other day, with self-serve being the norm apparently. Several clerks stood around the self serve check-out areas, none offering to help. Just standing there! I needed help, flagged down a clerk, and she was so snarky I wanted to just leave my stuff there. I also tried their online ordering and pickup service....what a mistake! First, it took 20 minutes to find a HUMAN to help with the pickup, then a manager was training a manager and I felt like I was imposing because they had to work. I can't stand shopping here. I've only been to this location a few times and it's always the same experience. The customers who shop here are rude and employees aren't very helpful. There is nothing of quality when it comes to clothing and housewares. I don't understand how these stores stay in business. Especially when there is a Super Target right across the street. The problem at this place, and so many others these days, is that no one cares. At all. The workers don't care if they help customers nor do they care if they stock the shelves in a timely manner. The supervisors don't care about their employees or the customers. I wrote this review as I wait in an enormous line for returns. No one cares how long it will take. Over the last 10 years my wife and I have spent over $60,000 in the Parker, CO Walmart.  On 9 July of this year, I purchased an Epson printer cartridge for $16.97.  When I got home, the item was not in the bag.  I searched my cars' trunk and went through all of the bags.  No luck.  When I went back to the store, I was subjected to a 15 minute wait while a manager searched the video to see if I was lying.  He finally came out and said the video showed the item being placed in the bag and there would be no refund.  I said, "I don't care what the video shows, it was not in the bag".  Tough rockos was the gist of the response.  Over the years I have tended to ignore the negative comments I read about Walmart but this brings it home.  Needless to say, the loss of my patronage will not break Walmart but I will do my best to spread the word about your customer service. read more

Grocery delivery -be cautious!!! We've done delivery three times now and they haven't been able to get the order right once. The breaking factor why we'll not use them again is they have us the wrong baby formula. We called and they wouldn't bring the right stuff to us. We relied on them to save us time and now we have to go to the store and get it ourselves. Another reason WalMart is losing market share. I guess we'll have to use Sprouts or Amazon instead. All I can say is, avoid in evenings and on weekends. This place is a madhouse people looking to be cheap. The produce selection here sucks, suggest going to another store if you want anything fresh. Was going to get an oil change. Waited in line for roughly 7-10 minutes while the older lady (probably 80 with glasses) continued to give an attitude to the customer in front of me. My turn finally came and she began putting the info into the computer. After about 5 minutes of failing, she called for assistance. Long story short, I was told they were unable to change the oil in my vehicle because they could not type to specs into their system. I asked, you need specs to do an oil change? And because they were unable to type it in properly into their system, I am on my way to a new location. Won't be going back to Walmart, not even to shop. read more

Horrible experience. Marianne the "Assistant Manager did a horrible job handling what was a minor issue with my transaction at the register. Tried splitting a transaction between a gift card and my debit card. I did mess up the pin on the gift card so it locked out-I learned of this later on... The guy at the register became confused when both of my cards were denied, so he called the "assistant" Marianne, who listened to us both explain that we tried both cards and it was cancelling the transaction regardless. Her statement to me in 10 seconds was "well there's no balance on this card" I found this quite rude, as I had just called to verify the balance standing in line and thought she could have said something like "what was the balance the last time you checked?" Or something, you know, assistant manager like, not a rude assumption. So she decided to move me over to customer service and started loading my groceries in my cart. Once we got over to customer service she insisted that my Debit card was tried 3 times and now it was locked and I had to call my bank. I said "no the gift card was denied, when I tried my Debit card it cancelled the transaction before it could go through". She insisted I was wrong at least 5 times and that I needed to call my bank. I said "my card will work fine, I'm not calling my bank at 3PM on a Sunday, no one is there. She said "call the 1800 number" I said "I'm not getting on the phone for 40 minutes with Chase just for them to tell me my card is fine just like I'm saying to you now", "Please let me just ring up my stuff again here or another register and I'll be on my way goceries or not, but at least let me TRY this card again" both assistants standing there say "nope/not gonna happen". So by this point I am furious problably red faced, shaking in my skin. I've got a cart with defrosting Eggos, luke warm grapefruit juice, deodorant, fish tank supplies, Gatorade and some lesuire candy, but this lady-this assistant manager, is literally holding on to my cart, holding it hostage from me trying to re-ring my groceries and try again. Seriously it was the most irritating thing to get all your groceries on a nice easy Sunday sitting in your cart just about home, and have this lady tell you what I have on one card for a balance and that my bank locked the other, and I'm just trying to get home eat my Mac and cheese because I'm already hangry as it is. (Snickers) So I finally said "Fuck you guys", yep, it was that annoying. Went outside to my car, thinking about Target.. I called the gift card number to cool off a bit, YES the GIFT CARD was tried 3 times and they put it in a 24 hold they said. Ok so YES my mistake I messed up the pin, have to try that card later... Well I went back inside and ran for my groceries again, yeah I went shopping AGAIN because of this lady, I knew my card would work and she just wouldn't listen, got half my groceries because thanks to Marianne I ran out of time and patience to get the rest. Regardless, the second visit, I walked out of Walmart in less than 10, with half my groceries using the same Chase card I insisted she retry, all without ever calling on that card. Literally NEVER listened to me, not once. Problably THE WORST "Assistant" "Manager" I've ever dealt with. Especially over a cart of food when I'm begging them to run my card again. Seriously, please demote her she helped no one. In conclusion: "Here please take my money somehow, I promise I have the funds I'll prove it, I need these groceries!" "Nope, nope and nope!" Never thought I'd have my groceries held hostage over a minor card dispute; I had my ID on me, it matches my name on the Chase card. They never asked for it, but man it took awhile too gather some of those groceries. I'm debating on going back. I don't need to be held hostage over Eggos and some deodorant at a grocery store. The only thing I can say about this Wal-Mart....Could these employees hate their lives any more? The store is clean (enough for Wal-Mart standards), I can always find what I'm looking for, but as soon as you go to the check out it's almost like you're slapping them in the face when you're setting your stuff on the belt. I worked retail, I know how much it blows but you're still nice to your customers. I've had cashiers there yell at me and get flustered with me over the stupidest things (I paid with cash, I decided I didn't need something and instead of leaving it in an aisle I gave it to the cashier). I admit - when I was in retail I would roll my eyes everytime Grandma would pull out her checkbook because I knew it would be about three minutes of negative time on my score waiting for her to write her check, but I never said anything. But when I hear employees actually say things to these people (Customer will say "Sorry this is taking so long" "Me too, maybe you should think about credit cards") it's ridiculous. Retail sucks but you just have to deal with it. After all, there is a liquor store right across Dransfeldt. read more

We shop at Parker Walmart a lot because the prices are low, but they are always understaffed at the registers. If you go on the weekend, plan to wait in line for quite awhile. That said, they keep the store tidy and the cost is far less than area grocery competitors. The only other bummer is that they stopped their price matching program, but their prices are so low already that I can't really complain. Checkers are usually nice and overall the store is fine. The home delivery program is great if you plan ahead. read more

This review is only for the grocery pick-up service. My belief is that Walmart bets against people actually picking up their ordered and paid for groceries the way banks bet against the housing market a few years ago. So my wife and I thought we would give their grocery pick-up service a try, after all it is free. Turns out that we got what we paid for and probably paid way too much. We did it right. We placed our order the evening before and specified a 5-7 PM pick-up for the following day. I arrived at 6 PM, parked in the designated spot and dialed the phone number. I was assured that the groceries would be placed in my car in 10-15 minutes. I am a patient man. After 20 minutes I called again to get an update. I was told that there was a problem locating some of the items and that a manager would come out and speak to me about either substituting or refunding the items. Fine. 45 minutes go by since arrival. No manager. No explanations. Since that time someone had already come and gone with their groceries. No calls to give updates, no follow-up with the previous information and no groceries. At 55 minutes they came out and loaded up groceries for a lady waiting to my left who had been waiting for about 15 minutes. The wait got to me by then and I called their pick-up number. I tried twice and no one picked up the phone. 60 minutes go by. The nice lady who received "her" groceries knocks on my window and explains that she was given the wrong groceries. Turns out that my groceries had been delivered to the wrong person. For all I know she is still waiting... Major problems here are not delivering as promised, total lack of updates, egregiously delivering the wrong items to the wrong person and intentional misinformation. Didn't they used to require a GED for employment here, including management? read more

This WalMart is better than most. it is clean and I adore the older gentleman with is the happiest greeter I've every met. He makes you feel welcome like he is inviting you into his home. Not a huge fan of the produce here but the Sprouts is just down the street. I like their store brand. It's one of the few that sometimes it can be better than a named brand - such as Crystal Light but half the price. read more

Used curbside pickup today and called number and told them space number I was in. No verification of make and model of my car. After the 'kid' loaded groceries into the trunk he expected me to sign my signature on the contaminated phone with my finger??? What does Walmart not get about the Coronavirus? Oh and it gets better. We had the worst experience today in the Tire and Lube department. We called ahead of time and asked if they had the filter in their inventory for our Volvo XC90. The person on the phone assured us they had it and so we set out to take the Volvo in for a quick oil change. When we walked outside, we noticed the front passenger tire was very low. We made it to #Walmart, dropped the car off for a Mobile 1 full synthetic oil change as well as to have them take a look at the low tire. We walked around he store for a while when one of the techs told my Brother in law that they did not have the tool needed to change my filter. They had the filter, but not the tool. If someone would have told us this on the phone earlier then we would have never showed up in the 1st place. We assumed that the technician working on our car, Steve would move on to check the situation on my deflated tire. This was not the case. Steve put air in the low tire and parked the car. One of my friends that was with us walked out to the car and began to inspect the tire. Steve asked my colleague if we had already patched he tire as he thought he saw a patch. My brother in law Max (a trained mechanic) corrected Steve and let him know hat what he was referring to was a tire wear indicator. Steve let us know that we were missing a lug nut. He said he would not be able to work on the car. At this point I am upset and tired of feeling my time being wasted. I went to another department and asked for a manager. A young lady came to my location and I explained the situation. I specifically asked her if she could ask someone to make the client happy as opposed to doing the least amount of work required. She walked into the automotive department to talk to the mechanics. We watched them talking and it appeared that the young lady was getting no answers. She told me that she would talk to the manager for me. She was able to locate the TLE Manager, John G and send him over to us. He came over and walked into the shop to talk to Joel (the only guy who seemed to care about our situation) and came back in to give me my keys and tell me they were denying me service because I was missing a lug nut. I have now been there over an hour, no resolution and now this guy John wants to argue with me about why they can't help me. He admits to me that he is not a mechanic. My wife started asking John questions about if his technicians were #ASE Certified and he began to get upset and raise his voice. John then started talking over me so I calmly asked him not to. John then admits to us that this is a big gap in the #Walmart training. When my brother asked Steve if he was ASE certified, he didn't even know what he was referring to. I called to cancel the extra order and was assured with two phone calls that my order was cancelled then of course both orders were delivered and they charged me $10 for the second order! I usually shop at this Walmart 1-2 times a week. Tonight I had a very different experience than usual. I went to self checkout and was purchasing some containers. The second I walked into the self checkout area this short Walmart employee was watching like I was stealing her kids candy. I am mid scan, and she walks over and proceeds to open my containers and tells me as she is already opening them that she is going to check my containers. I said for products? And she responds yep! Lady, let me finish scanning, I hadn't even made it to the containers and there was nothing in there. I feel extremely discriminated against and don't understand why that happened? I called Walmart to talk to a manager and the employee asks me what I want to talk to a manager for, rudely. I told her I would like to discuss a situation that happened and she said okay. Not even 5 seconds later the phone hung up. I will be contacting corporate. read more

But if your list has any other combination of items you should go somewhere else. It just isn't worth it. It is sort of amusing to browse the aisles around the holidays. The lube express. I show up this morning at 7AM when the lube is supposed to open. After about 10 minutes of milling around the waiting area, a frazzled lube employee shows up. He explains that he is alone today. I totally understand - sometimes people call in sick and it's not the employee's fault. He tells me that because he is alone, my car service will take an hour. Ok, no big deal. I go and do some shopping. I show up about 10 minutes at 8:00 and there are about 4-5 other people waiting. I'm told my car is done, there are the keys on the counter, but he will have to get a cashier to come check me out so I can pay and be on my way. I wait. And wait. And wait, and wait, and wait. Finally at a little after 9:00, (2 hours after I brought my car in and one hour after the service was completed), I call the store. The somewhat rude employee that answered the phone tells me that they're aware of the situation and a cashier or manager would be there soon to check me out. 15 minutes later - and one extremely cranky toddler on my hip - the manager shows up. She is exceptionally rude. I should have gotten her name. She doesn't apologize for the wait. She barely acknowledges my existence. She has no business managing a store if she cannot talk to customers in a professional manner. First she tries to charge me $13 over what my service should have cost (I have purchased this service many times in the past.) I inform her that is incorrect and show her the pricing on the wall behind her that shows what I should pay. She pretty much ignores my existence (as well as the 4 other people behind me who have been waiting a long time for service) and continues to talk to the employee who came up to the register with her. Finally I'm checked out for the proper price and I'm given my keys back. She doesn't even look at me. 2 hours 30 minutes after I checked my car in. I have enjoyed the lube service while I'm shopping because it's convenient. It is not convenient when there is a severe short staffing issue, the poor auto tech is alone, no one will come check people out for an hour, and the manager who finally arrives is rude. First I'm a 100% disabled veteran and all I can say about this store. They treat you like a criminal. We purchased groceries and wanted to buy ink for my printer. I asked Jeff after he was done with the only customer if he could unlock the ink case. Jeff turned and said ya ok. Wow I'm a customer how about I'll be with you in a minute. He comes over to to unlock the case and the first box was bent up and was opened so I said I'll take the next one Jeff grabs the first box and I got the second box then he hits my hand and knocks the ink out of my hands onto the floor. I picked it up and placed it into the cart to proceed to get a small cart to carry my food into my home. Jeff tells me no you have to buy the ink here because it was locked up. I said I'll pay for it up front with everything else. Jeff said no. He took the ink back and since hitting me is elder abuse, hitting for this $36 ink. I did not get the cart and went to the front to pay for the items. I asked for the store manager Matt but yes he was not at work so they called twice for Will assistant manager to see me. We walked back to point out which employee did this to me and I pointed out Jeff. I turned around and Will was I call hiding behind a rack of items so that Jeff could not see him. He walked me out and I asked why didn't you talk to him in front of me since you walked me all the way back there. Will said he will view the tapes and consider what to do. WTF. He could have just said that from the beginning to watch the video from the start instead of walking me through the store for nothing. I said to Will is it worth treating people like me as criminals for a $36 dollars not to come back and show here again. Amazingly Will said you right I would not come here either to be treated like a criminal. Walmart use to be an outstanding store but not anymore. If they are going to treat all their customers like they are going to steal everything they are going down the toilet just like Kmart. The manager Will seems like he was going to do nothing just listen then business as usual. So sad Go shop at Target they do not treat their customers like criminals. After my wife making fun of me I gave this store another try. I purchased a comforter and when I got home and opened it you could tell it had been used and returned. I brought it back to the store and the same individual who I dealt with in the past, Cliff, was once again not only unhelpful but downright rude. This time with my wife with me she saw how this man treats customers. Bad apple spoils the bunch I think is the saying, well in this case Cliff at customer service has ruined this store for us. The cashiers are understaffed, but I must comment on Mary who was working at the register on Nov 5th,2019. I have had her check me out before. She is the fastest cashier ever, categorizes items when bagging, does not complain , is happy, and recognizes you as a repeat customer. She is very engaging in conversation during the whole process and I find her to be very friendly and capable. She is tops!!! read more

Tried grocery pickup for the first time. Scheduled an 8:15am pickup and the groceries rolled out at 9:07. Called when I arrived at 8:15. The poor guy came out 3 times to ask my last name. He was was busting his arse but clearly the staffing wasn't adequate. I could have gone in and accomplished the same in less time. This was a fail and I won't use the service again. This place struggles on a good day to begin with, but Christmas time has been a general nightmare. No children's Christmas pajamas for the past 4 days, their inventory on the website is inaccurate, and they seem to only carry 22/24/26 W Christmas Pajamas. Where are the small and mediums? The men's is just as bad, and there were few larges to be found--mostly either 2X or 3X. I just called to ask to speak to men's apparel (trying to track down a men's union suit) and the older lady who answered the phone said "hold on a second. Ugh...okay. Ughhhhh I don't think there's anybody over there right now, but I'll see if I can find someone" and then promptly hung up the phone. Which could have been accidental, except that the person who answers the phone is always IN APPAREL. She legit just didn't want to walk the 10 feet from her desk to the pajama rack. I'm not a Walmart shopper. They treat their employees like crap, and as a result have crappy employees. Additiona ETA: I went in, and sure enough that senior woman (a tiny little blonde thing) was only feet away from what I asked for, AND was rude as can be about 4 times in a row for no fathomable reason. There was no line, she was just re-hanging "go backs." I asked her if there were any little boy's Christmas pajamas anywhere. She said "probably over in little boys." I said I hadn't seen them in either baby's or boys for a 3T and a boys small. She said "go over there. I can't see em from here, can I?" I asked if anyone was working over there, and she did the "ughhhhh" sigh again and said "I don't know!" And went back to sorting go backs. I'm a nice person and I'm respectful and understanding with employees/service people, but this woman is a toxic person and might do better in a position without customers. The only reason I didn't go to a manager was because a) I've never done that and felt awkward, b) it was a busy shopping day, and c) it's two days before Christmas and I didn't want to get her written up on Christmas weekend. read more

I went to our local Walmart in Parker yesterday (Trip #1) to buy a replacement part for our Coleman Stove. I couldn't find it, so asked an employee for assistance. The employee was friendly, but told me that the store didn't carry the part and that it could only be ordered online. (Trip#2) This morning I went online to Walmart.com and found not only did they carry it, but that I could get it today and pick it up at the store. I logged on to Walmart.com and added my husband as a person who could pick it up. He drove to the store and when he got there, the associate told him that they had no record of the transaction. . Here's why I am rating our Parker store as a 5 star store: After my husband relayed what had happened, I called and asked to speak to a supervisor and was transferred to Mandy. She asked if I would hold, then gathered 4 employees and found my order. She was so sincere and generous in her apology. She went over and above by giving us a gift card when we came in to pick up our order to make up for the three trips and the mix up. We left the store wondering how far up Mandy will go in this organization...we think she'll be General Manager in a very short time! Thanks for making up for the snafu Mandy...we feel like valued customers! read more

Every time I go in here I have some employee asking me if I need help with anything. You don't normally associate that with Walmart which is nice. Also, the employees by the dressing rooms and the fishing area are always helpful and super nice. By far the cleanest, most organized Walmart I have been into.
