I went to Walmart today and I was being watched in make-up isle. The manager kept peeking around…read morethe corner but didn't say anything to me I look up and when I seen him then he disappeared. I was just looking at different products I'm a shopper that looks at ingredients and different things due to my very sensitive skin. I was over there for awhile looking at product details but after I saw him the second time I was was starting to get creeped out which caused me to start getting hot and I had a panic attack. I went to get my husband in sporting goods I told him I felt dizzy, shaking and really hot. when I told him what happened he just said well we don't need to steal if it's that big of a deal they need to lock it up staring at my wife isn't appropriate. I begged him to let it go and hurry up to finish up our shopping quickly I seen him again over in the dog food area and again at the laundry soap it made my anxiety increase I started to feel like i couldn't breathe. we rushed as fast as we could to get out of there before I passed out we get to self checkout and there he was again I just started scanning my stuff I just wanted to get out of there. As soon as I finished paying for my items my husband tells me that red headed guy was watching you on a I pad while we checked out that was the same person who was following me around. He made me feel very uncomfortable the entire time and scared the whole time I was in the store. I got home and was looking at my items and I bought some wrong things that I can't use because I just grabbed and left when I seen him the second time in makeup isle. I felt like he was harassing me and now I don't even want to go back to the store to exchange my items that I bought wrong. I've never stole or give any reason to be followed that was extreme in my opinion. next time I will have my phone out recording you can't follow ppl and make them feel uncomfortable like that without any reason or a word to the customer. I really don't want to go back to that store I'd rather take my business elsewhere but unfortunately there isn't anywhere else to shop at. I might have to buy groceries but I won't buy anymore clothing or makeup I was shopping for my mother's funeral and wanted to buy some new stuff but after that forget it I'm not going to be treated that way.

They do need more stock on the shelves, and there have been several items on my list that they were out; however, everyone is short staffed and I doubt it is any different for Walmart at the moment. I do want to note that I was almost sold 1 tire to replace the current one because the nail was too close to the sidewall when they could have given me a safer ride and up sold the deal by recommending 2 tires. I was buying them for my wife's Jeep which she takes the babies in. I ended up buying a matching set, but I was a little confused on why you would only want to replace 1 tire on the back of a car, and a set that is fairly worn out too. Eh, to each his own I guess!

And then there's my mom, who's completely new to the world of online grocery ordering, and she's totally hooked (which I find amusing). Of course, with the pandemic, we're all trying to limit the amount of exposure we have to other people and even other places. This makes the grocery pickup option really effective right now... more than ever. This location is the one we've been using to get our groceries recently, as we've been staying near the lake during the quarantine for even better isolation. They do as good a job here as they would in other Walmart locations. At first I was worried it might not be as effective in a smaller town, maybe because they'd have less workers available/ on hand, or possibly have less product than somewhere like Tulsa, but none of that has been true so far. I'd say we've put in and picked up grocery orders 2 or 3 times now within the last few weeks and haven't had anything go wrong yet (knock on wood). Sure, a few items become out of stock from the time you place your order to when someone is shopping for your order, but you are always notified if something from your order has to be removed or more likely substituted for something similar. I don't necessarily see this as anything wrong with this particular location, or the pick up service in general, just something that happens when you go shopping regardless. It's possible that some items are more out of stock than normal, but it's hard to say. I think one thing people get nervous about when it comes to ordering groceries online is having someone else pick out your food, primarily when it comes to things like fresh fruit, veggies, meat, and even dairy. So far, they've done a good job with this as well. We haven't gotten anything expired or not of a good quality yet! No bruised apples, no bananas that are too ripe, or yogurt that will expire in two days. I'd definitely recommend this feature, especially now, so that we can all stay safe and help do our part to stop the spread as best we can. I might even continue shopping this way even after all of this is over... now that I've gotten back into online groceries I'm reminded how simple it is!

Okay, I love TJ Maxx. First time at this particular one in Joplin. A little odd set up from what I…read moream used to. It's actually inside the Northpark Mall with an interior entrance. It is smaller than the TJ Maxx's I frequent, but still plenty of great deals and merchandise. It's currently under renovation to expand the dressing rooms. I just noticed The Body Shop products in TJ Maxx this week. I am not sure if this is new to the chain or I am just now noticing it. I am not really a Body Shop girl, but for those who are - - might be some good deals. This location seemed to have an abundance of salon quality hair products - Matrix, Rusk, Big Sexy Hair, etc. Seriously, I use to by my products from the salon (years ago)...not a chance I would do that now. No reason to waste the money when you can find them so much cheaper at places like TJ Maxx and Marshall's. I wear Saucony Oasis tennis shoes. They were over $100 when I first bought them in a running store. For months now, I have found these same Saucony's in TJ Maxx for $34.99. Oh yah!. I have them in every color. I actually had not seen them in a bit, but luck was on my side and found a great pair of purple ones. Yep, another pair of cheap Oasis added to the collection. I also love unique stationery and cards. I found the cutest box of Chihuahua greeting cards. They weren't a great "deal" (but I am tight!), but I had to have them. I regularly shop at these similar types of stores (TJ Maxx, Marshall's, Gordman's, Ross) and this location had some quality stuff from cosmetics, shoes, clothing to housewares.
