When I told her it was for my wedding she wasn't excited or happy she didn't even smile at me. I definitely did not feel welcome I just felt like some sort of unwelcome task. She said that I need to come back another day because I have to set up an appointment to go over wedding cakes with her. Due to me not being local I asked if we could do it over the phone, or if I could go to my local Publix and then have them fax the info over or if there was anything - anything - I could do to save a 2 hour drive(4 hours there & back) She was adamant I needed to come in person. Fast forward I drove out there, and for what? A 15 minute meeting that could have been done over the phone with an online brochure!!!!!!! It felt like a complete waste of my time, and gas. At first I understood where she was coming from but she was not at all understanding for my point of view. Regardless I decided to try and be positive and I took the estimate home for my finance to look over and we decided to move forward because I've already put so much time and effort into this...and here I am unable to pay for it online. What a headache. I am so disappointed I heard so many great things about Publix - this is not a pleasure at all!!!!!

I have been there many times and had to go from one to another to find one that works. Several times I have gotten one that showed full charge but died in the back of the store. I use pickup if I just want staples but I like to choose my meat and produce. I can walk short distances but often can't walk from the back to the front of the store. So I stopped by Kroger early morning to pick up some flowers for a very special birthday. They have a great floral selection with balloons, vases, gifts and plants. In spite of that I just wasn't find it what I needed so I asked for some assistance. Brittany was the clerk who helped me and she was absolutely amazing. We picked out several bunches of flowers to make the perfect bouquet and she arranged them and expertly wrapped them with a pretty bow that she let me pick out. She added a cute hummingbird that she put on a stick with a bow and I had the most amazing bouquet. Thanks Kroger!

Yellow onions were on sale according to the label where they were placed . I looked through the bags to make sure I got one with a label, since most were missing. I even had my wife look to be sure everything was correct because of the prior problems with sale items and my eyesight is not as good as it once was. We made our way to the register and like so many sale items over the past, the item rang up for more than the price on the shelf. When we said the price is wrong, the cashier informed us it was Food Lion onions on sale and we could go look for ourselves. The cashier was rude and should have called a manager. The cashier then said we were yelling at her, which we were not, and then told us to leave. I pitched the bags of groceries on the counter. I asked for her name, which she would not provide and we left. We called the manager on duty (Kieth). Kieth never asked for our name or phone number but did keep saying he wanted to make it right. I informed Kieth I didn't want a gift card, I just wanted the pricing corrected. If Food Lion wanted to make it right, the correct price would be charged at the register. The price difference of the onions was less than a dollar. Yes I could have paid that, however it is a continual problem. Think how much money Food Lion profits if each customer is overcharged 1$ per transaction. Is what they do bait and switch? Maybe it's an honest mistake or is it that Food Lion just don't care. My wife and I don't struggle as some when grocery shopping, so I like to look out for customers that do struggle paying. Just remember if you do shop at Food Lion, be sure to check the receipt. Especially when an item is on sale. You may not be getting the deal you think you are.
