I went to pick up medications; when I returned to vehicle a car passed by and by accident a rock went under tire grab it and hit my back windshield. This store has rocks around their tree gardens between the parking lots end one of these end up breaking my back windshield. I called Police and officer went inside to revise cameras, therefore I know that this is how the event happened. I went a week later to talk to store manager "Bill(y)" to see if they could help me with the expenses since my legal counsel explained to me that it was responsibility/liability of the store to keep their premises clean/safe specially since they have this rocks on their parking area on purpose. As soon as I started explaining the situation he got defensive and told me in a root tone that he could not provide comment and he could not have a conversation with me because I had mentioned that I made an inquiry with legal counsel. Of course he said that he could not provide any type of reimbursement for my $500 expenses to repair vehicle. I went in a friendly manner trying to resolve this peacefully asking if maybe at least they could cover a percentage and was willing to accept a "gift card" etc. I understand that many people try to take advantage of lawsuits, but I just wanted a fair resolution and for my line of business I work closely with attorneys, therefore I was able to get feedback, not that I necessarily went looking for advice to take advantage of the situation. So please be careful on this location, I cannot imagine a rock hitting a kid or even and adult on the head. read more

Called to see if they had deer corn available being that is a seasonal item. I tried calling about 6 times no one ever answered. Called again for the 7th time pressed any key. Finally someone answered in the automotive dept I asked for a mgr and was on hold for 50MIN till I finally hung up. Horrible Customer service during a return. The return process had already been started online, so keep in mind they already have the receipt, order #, item i purchased and my CC # recorded. They tell me my return has been completed online- Now return item to store for a refund and they send me a barcode. I take a picture of the order # and barcode and take it with me. This is a coffeepot i am returning- i used it a total of 5xs. ive had it 5 weeks and it doesnt brew the coffee. the water just steams out the back, I did not keep the box because I didnt expect the coffee pot to be of such poor quality it would not work after 5xs . So no box. They girl, her name started ithe a "K" dark hair, looked to be in her 20s, was very rude upon return of defected item, rolled her eyes at me, told me shes not accepting the picture of the barcode and she cant use the item # to look up my order, and also told me everybody saves the boxes to the coffeepots-NO I didnt keep the box because i expected it to work more than a few weeks. She told me i was wrong, again rolled her eyes and THEN AFTER ALL THAT PROCEEDED WITH THE RETURN. She hassled me, demeaned me , told me she couldnt do anything with the order # i provided but then magically gave me a refund! She was very very rude to me and then i stepped away and i could not find a manager to talk to- a few associates tried to help me find one but no manager available, I do not go out of my way to post bad reviews, I would like to assume she was having a bad day, but its still not an excuse to be so rude. read more

So we came to get a grill from Wal-mart, had been l M look. So my boyfriend decided to just get one that was economical and this is what they had. So they had 6 on display and the young black boy that was working told us that they were unable to sell display BBQ grills. So we go outside and this is what they are selling. I go to this Walmart all the time and the truth is the problem is not the store or workers it's the nasty rude inconsiderate customers that apparently weren't taught manners! No general manager on duty mid afternoon. The electronics department manager Brian had no sense of urgency and was walking like he just got out of bed to address a problem with a phone. I called corporate about a broken item and they gave me a reference number. Their excuse for no manger was they get days off and they are at another store. My review has more to do with management than customer experience in the store I want that to be very clear now to explain my issue first off been all honesty I am a homeless person in San Antonio Texas now that being said a gentleman had left a few boxes of different dry foods that he said he did not want so I took it upon myself to hand it out to people for free just to help people out and the store manager I didn't catch his name cuz he would not give it to me he said and I quote you can't be doing that here you need to leave so I responded with really? I can't hand out free food to people? He then responded with what makes you think you can do that here? I have gone to this Walmart for the past 3 years never had a problem was there this morning in self check went up to the register I thought it said card only so I was like ok awesome finished scanning to realized I read it wrong said cash only! I explain to the lady there named Anastasia that I miss read she goes in a rude to well move to another register I asked after that if there was a way to suspend the transaction she goes I don't know I ain't a cashier! Love this store. loss prevention aka (LP) needs to step up their game if they're gonna catch shoplifters and not give themselves away. Had five people last night. Follow me around thinking I was gonna steal something one was waiting outside for me. They either had friends or family with them talking about me walking really close. Just so you know if you wanna get one of them fired it's called burn that means they got caught. Normally you get two burns and then they fire you. No I don't steal anything, but I love it when they think I am because I just want to turn around and call them out so I can try a get them fired. so I went back to the store this morning. picked up what my kids want for Christmas. As I walked towards the front. Saw an heard someone on the radio say I don't want anyone following him. A guy stopped and turned around walking towards me. Just a heads up if they ever confront you and you don't steal anything you may be able to to find the right lawyer and maybe get $1500 minimum. once again, if you find the right lawyer normally there's no court or anything store settle right away cause they don't want it in the news. An if you do contact the lawyer, they will ask what was the loss prevention name and who is his supervisor name. You will need both. May want to get first and last names. I called several times during the day and it the past for other questions and no one on at least 3 departments don't answer the phone at all. Don't get here before 10am if you need to try on any clothing items. Apparently customers have to come in when the "dedicated" employee comes in because no one else is allowed to open a dressing room for customers. Just as an FYI, I was in the store at 9:30 not like I came in at 6am! Very disappointing that customers have to adhere to an employee's hours! Unheard of! read more

One of the lesser examples of what Walmart can offer in terms of a customer experience. There is almost always a line. Even if there's a very short line some how the wait seems long. Isles are always junked up with stock awaiting placement and if you need help finding something you're probably better off just killing your time wondering on your own least you get someone to follow thru the store while they acquaint themselves with where everything's at. I go hear as a last resort and this last visit they were out of stock of what I needed, very disappointing. If location is a deciding factor for you to get a product then go ahead on in but if you don't mind driving a little there are much better locations. read more

I have come two different times to this location for an oil change and they have an hour to two hour wait with one car in the bay? At that, I pulled up to the bay and it seemed as if they were mad money was coming to the company. I saw two employees just standing there, seen me pull up, then turn back around. Customer Service is by far the worse service at the tire shop. I've came here various times to get my old change and either you have to have an appointment or beat the crowd cause you will sit down for over 4 hours to get your service done. I came to get a tire fixed and apparently it was missing a lug nut, then they told me it's low on thread, after 2 hours of waiting. I still waited to get helped out because they were trying to figure out my situation. The cashier that was going back and forward literally came back and forward 4 times just to tell me they couldn't do anything about it. Management needs to step it up. I was being denied service for missing a lug nut when i know i had all 5 lug nuts on the tire. I parked the car where the associate asked me to park the vehicle, i looked back and did see all lug nuts on the tire. So they are saying I'm lying. Co manager tim was offering to help out but then at the same time he was saying he couldn't. I was out of there 3 hours later to get nothing done with my vehicle. Wouldn't recommend this location if your trying to go in and out in an hour. Time wise they take their time to do nothing. read more

This is the worst Walmart I've ever been to. I've tried using online grocery many times and maybe once have I had my order done right. Always running out of items, always substituting items, always missing items, always late to bring out my order, always bringing out the wrong order. I have even been told they do not have an item I ordered and I walked inside myself to find a replacement, and there was a fully stocked shelf. Maybe they stocked after my order was picked, or maybe they were being lazy and irresponsible and not doing their job right. Every Walmart has its highs & lows but this one just has too many lows. On the Store side: the usual never enough lanes open while busy, self checkout lanes are always down or only accept credit card, no one is ever available in the paint department, and employees look like they don't want to be there and want to go outside and take a smoking break. Not that the store can control this but 50% why this store is horrible is the type of people who shop here. Parents who bring their entire f*cking family to walmart like it's a trip to disney land. Ghetto people who look like they just crawled out of a dumpster, people walking through the parking lot without a care in the world, waiting to get hit but a car simply trying to find a spot, kids who have lousy parents who don't know how to discipline their kids and just start to cry and won't shut up. Luckily I only have to come here maybe once a month if that. But I know that whenever I do come here, I always get perspective on life and get to view first hand how good I have it and how much better I am & how much more self respect I have than others. read more

Walmart Pharmacy at 8923 W Military Dr San Antonio, TX 78245-2102 I dropped off my percription at 5:18PM and was told it would be an hour for pickup. I left to take my family to go and eat and came back an hour later. When I came back, an hour later, I was told my perscription was not placed in the system yet. I was told to wait on the side and they will call my name. I waited for over another hour. I got back in line (and waited 20 minutes) to find out about the perscription. When I got to the counter, I was told they were bagging it now. 20 mintues later I asked again, about the order, they then grabbed the medication and bagged it. The lady told me how to place the water in the medication and handed me my bag and receipt. When I got home and opened the bag, it turned out they did not put the medicne in the bag. I then had to drive back to Walmart to get the medicine again. I placed the order at 5:18PM, I didnt get the percription completed until after 7:49PM. Then had to go back to pick up the medicine they didnt put in the bag. I didnt get done with all of this until 8:45PM! I noticed they only had one Pharmacist, one Pharmacy Tech and one Cashier working during and extremely busy time of the day. They need more people working the Pharmacy area. This is a heavy customer area and does not have enough people working here. There have been times Ive seen the line backing up outside of the isles. I have decided to never come back to this WalMart for the use of the Pharmacy. I will be letting all of my friends know and have them spread the word. read more

My opinion of Walmart has been pretty sedentary, being that customer service greatly depends upon the area in which you shop and the management. Tonight, my review is based upon how I was treated at my local store. This is the store closest to home that I happen to frequent. To which I will no longer. Let me begin by saying that I am disabled. I'm in a wheelchair and had used their motor cart this evening. I had done my shopping late that evening. It was past midnight when I'd come to the front end to check out. I had found that none of the lanes were open. The only option to check out was to do so on my own. I'd asked the cashier that was standing around in the self check out lanes if there was someone to help me. She said no and said that after 12 PM everyone was on their own. Okay? So is there anyone to help me or am I being paid to ring up my own groceries? She did no and turned her back on me. I literally had to toss my groceries into the bags from my wheelchair. She watched me struggling and turned away as if she didn't want to help. I have a photo of her turning her back on me as I was asking for help. I called her over and she gave me an attitude. Then complained that I'd asked for help because the checkout lanes were closed. She even flagged down a policeman because I'd had a complaint. A calm customer complaint does not require police protection. There's no reason for anyone to be treated this way. I understand that they're paid near minimum wage, but that's still no reason to treat the customer so poorly. Thank you, Lisa for turning your back on me and accepting a pay check without earning it. The manager literally told me I couldn't buy and item in electronics because she didn't want to open it. Now if I went to another Walmart they would allow me to enter the electronics area. There are no managers in sight, so after 10 min I actually called the store to complain (while I'm in line) about 3 lanes open and they are 6-7 deep each. Guess what? I had bought a mattress from here and an associate Adam has help me and my wife take it all the way to the car and even help put it in. Unfortunately this particular Wal-Mart is walking distance from where I live and where I work so I tend to go here for my everyday needs. I must say that this is one of the dirtiest, busiest Wal-Mart stores that I have had the displeasure of patronizing. They (as do many Wal-Mart stores) seem to have a problem having enough staff. The lines are always extremely long here. The typical customer here seems to be of the low-class variety (rude people, people standing in your way and not moving, people cutting you off, and bratty kids running around everywhere). It also doesn't seem to matter what time you visit this location as it is always busy. I used to work at night until about 11 or midnight and I'd go do my shopping here at about 1am or maybe 2am and it was much busier than you would think it would be (even on weeknights). The cashiers seem to be lethargic at those later hours causing waits of 30 minutes or more in the TEN items or less lane (where you buy tobacco)..this has happened to me several times and I never understood why since there were no noticeable problems occuring. This location also seems to have pallets of stuff down the middle of the every major walkway starting at about 8pm at night making it extremely difficult to navigate through people while pushing a cart. All in all, if I have the time and the gas in my car, than I am definitely going to visit one of the other Wal-Marts. Driving an extra 5 miles is worth it! read more
