It seems they're working on cleaning up and stocking which is great. The bad is that they always have long lines for the registers when it's busy despite calling people to ring. It's a generally well kept store just wish that more time was put into hiring people in all the departments. I have a hard time finding someone when I need help. read more

Site-to-store: I hope someone that can make a difference is reading -- ordering is easy, picking up is a nightmare. Not once, not twice, but every time. There's NEVER anyone at the site-to-store pickup counter. You ring the buzzer and nothing happens. You see employees go in and out the warehouse. Sometimes they'll stop & ask if you've been helped, other times you have to chase them down, either way, when they say they'll get somebody, it's at least a 20 minute wait. It seems that once they got your money, they don't care. I believe this is my last site-to-store order. The store itself is ok otherwise. read more

The auto department is extremely unprofessional and awful customer service. I ordered tires for my car three weeks ago when I was getting an oil change. They said that they would take a couple of days to get delivered and would call me when they arrived. Still no tires on my car as they never even ordered them. Was on hold numerous times, hung up on and still never called me back with a resolution. Will definitely let the community know not to get any type of auto service there! Waste of time. read more

There is this old phillipine lady that works customer service, very rude and shouldn't be working the register. This is more than once I saw her being rude. Making life harder on others than it already is, cause she is miserable. She's smart mouth to customers trying justify her reasons as if she was right, when her supervisor told her to cash the check for the customer and still chose to talk down on the customer and said address on id dont match cause the person had moved from another state. Obviously its the persons check cause you have punch your social security number in. SMH. ALSO have the nerve to ask why does the check have a different address than your ID. Can't get your check if you don't have an address smh! Messing with peoples money, got bills and kids to feed. If your like at work, you are definitely the same off the clock. Can't call yourself a good person when your treating everybody like they have a problem, but the problem was you. This lady needs a hug. read more

My wife and I stopped in to grab a few items with our daughter, who is 15 months. We went through the self checkout and the young guy who was watching the lanes came over and started acting odd in front of our kid. I looked away for a second to scan something and my wife saw him try and put a random hair clip in my daughters hair!!! Wth?? Who does that? My wife said, "what's your problem?" And took our daughter and left while I finished checking out. We will never be returning here and I'm probably going to file a formal complaint. What a little creep!! read more

Hard to navigate and find good customer service here - although the I don't blame the staff. Also the clientele can be a little strange and unpredictable. Avoid, Worst customer service ever. Great way to start the year with a dead battery and -20 degree temps. On New Years Day everything in the area is closed except for Wal-Mart, Walmart has a Automotive department, Perfect. I think not, after calling the department once we spoke with a male who clearly was having a rough day. He was not helpful whatsoever, claiming he doesn't know if additional techs will come in today as hes the only one and cant see us till 4:00pm. I arrange for a tow truck to pick up my vehicle and drop off for service. We call back and confirm an appointment and the same guy now claims that he wont be able to see us until tomorrow as he is leaving at 4 and still claiming there wont be another tech to service our car. At this point I'm beyond frustrated as I already arranged a pick up with a tow company to drop off there. I call back at there Automotive direct line and no one picks up for 10-15 rings until another associate answers. She also is having a rough day and she us unable to transfer me back to automotive and needs me to call back again... You guessed it, I call back and wait another 10-15 rings until she answers again, I tell her to transfer me to automotive please so I can talk with automotive. She puts me on hold and continue to wait for another 15 minutes. At this point I have wasted to much time for this terrible service. I would rather leave it overnight at a business that will actually help the problem rather than create more problems. Anyone considering Wal-Mart as a option to do a simple battery replacement I highly recommend that you go elsewhere. After reading other reviews for this establishment its very obvious that customer service is not a priority for them. Go elsewhere. read more

I called the store at 9:30 pm to ask a question on a kayak I was trying to buy from the store. I called three times---the first time I was answered within 10 rings but was forwarded to someone else and was immediately put on hold and remained there for 9 minutes and 57 seconds when I just hung up the phone. I called back the second time to speak to a representative--the phone rang 60 times and I hung up the phone. I called back a third time the same thing was true--I hung up the phone after 30 rings and called it quits. Customer service is non-exhistant. read more

My Favorite one stop store. Fridays and Saturday nights are "PUNK" nights so beware. Some A hole took off with my shopping cart in front of his friends. I promptly chased him down....... They need more security on the weekends to throw punks out that are not shopping. They are annoying customers and riding around the electric wheel chairs that should be for the hand-capped and are bothering the customers. Otherwise a very good store. P.S. beware often times you cannot get in the aisles because of rude idiots so keep an eye on your cart. The employees stole my cart a few times even though I had my daughters jacket and merchandise inside. I really was pissed. If Wall mart can correct some deficiencies I will give them a 5 star rating. read more

Definitely one of the nicer Walmarts I've ever been to. Always clean and well stocked.

Great staff, I always come in after work for pop and I'm greeted by several people and the regular employees in the water and pop Isle are always friendly and helpful. An employee named Robert was obviously busy with what seemed like a very large palet of water gallons and was happy to help direct me to another area of the store to find something else even he even walked me there and checked in with me as I saw him in passing as I was leaving. Went to Seva Beauty Spa inside Walmart in Shakopee and I got my eyebrows threaded for the first time. It was super convenient because I was shopping there anyway. There was someone ahead of me so I checked in and they called me when they were ready for me. Alicia did a great job and it doesn't take any longer than waxing. The prices were very affordable and the atmosphere isn't intimidating like other spas. I will definitely be going back and trying some of their other services. read more

I LOVE Walmart...don't get me wrong. I am not prejudice either so please know that. I just struggle when a store caters more towards other ethnicities than American. I am not interested in aisle of food from Mexico or elsewhere. They have discontinued too many items to make room for foods I cannot pronounce, let alone figure out what it is. I am all for diversity (am I overly defensive?). Sorry. I just want to shop at a store with a variety of items, but focuses most on American foods. I love Asian, Mexican, Italian, and Indian foods, but am more the traditional shopper. Also my second issue is tied. The store is FILTHY and lacking any form of customer service. Even an assistant store manager was too busy to check if they had an item one day! He said he had no idea if they carried it and didn't have time to look. Do not try to purchase fabric. No one is at the counter. I ordered online once to pick up at the store. Four of the five items I purchased never arrived, but they charged me for them nonetheless. It took a lot of convincing that I never received the other 4 items before they'd listen to me. I never did get a refund. When I checked out, I paid for one item. Walmart later charged my debit card for the remaining 4 items. Trying to return an item? Pack a lunch. They do the best they can...some of them anyway. Others are so busy socializing and cannot be bothered. The same holds true on the sales floor. Groups of staff gathered talking and laughing. I approached one and she didn't speak English...she just simply shook her head no. When I walked away she was laughing. No one else bothered to volunteer to help. I always shop at Burnsville or the new Lakeville Walmart. They are clean, courteous and although they still lack many items they used to carry, have a better selection of the standard items I use all the time. I love those two Walmart stores. I just wish Shakopee would revamp their products, staff...including management....and CLEAN that dump up. Then I would consider going back. Until then...I am off to Burnsville or Lakeville. read more

Live close to this store so it's convenient. However, will not be going back, I will shop at another store like Cub that a little further but have better customer service and quality employees. The employees are rude and despondent. Two women employees were talking in an aisle and I was trying to pass, after saying excuse me twice they just looked at me and one rolled her eyes. After picking up an item from site to store and checking out and younger man, probably security but her never said anything stopped me by standing right in front of my cart and demanded to see the receipts which I had in my hands and gave to him. he didn't spent much time on my grocery receipt but starred at the site to store receipt for over a minute, then he looked at the item. He had a confused look on his face. Wanting to get on with my day I asked him if there was a problem because I said that's a site to store item and it's paid for, I told him he could look in the box if he wanted. He then gave me a dirty look and tossed both of my receipts in my cart. In considerate and rude, I won't be back in this store. Also I'm tired of moldy fruits and dirty unkempt aisles. read more
