I was visiting for a few days and stopped into this grocery store. I am not from Tulsa, but no…read morecustomer--local or visiting--should ever be treated this way. People deserve better. December 31, around 9:30-9:35 p.m., I visited Reasor's at 2429 E. 15th St., Tulsa, OK 74104, and had one of the most upsetting and unprofessional retail experiences I have ever encountered. I went directly to the checkout counter, paid for my item, and completed my purchase like any other customer. Shortly after, I realized there was a transaction issue and calmly requested a refund so the transaction could be corrected. What should have been a routine customer-service matter quickly escalated into something completely inappropriate. Instead of assisting me, I was accused of stealing, without any verification or investigation. No one checked my receipt. No one reviewed the register. No attempt was made to confirm whether I had, in fact, paid for the item. The accusation came from the security guard, but what was most concerning was the lack of leadership that followed. The manager failed to step in, failed to question the accusation, and failed to independently review the facts. Management allowed a serious claim to stand without evidence and did nothing to de-escalate the situation or protect a paying customer. This was not only unprofessional--it was humiliating. As a business owner myself, I understand that mistakes happen, but accusing a customer of theft without proof is never acceptable. Customer service should be based on facts, fairness, and respect. None of those standards was upheld during this interaction. The entire experience was degrading, unnecessary, and avoidable. I left feeling disrespected and wrongfully treated. I will not return to this location and cannot recommend it to others unless Reasor's makes great improvements in staff training, management accountability, and how customer disputes are handled. And I hadn't received an apology from the Manager. Hopefully, this gets his attention.

I hate writing bad reviews. . . Reading my review from 2023…read morewould make me feel bad but 1) there were so many other 1* reviews and 2) my review was completely accurate & remembering that experience made me angry all over again. So to my visit a few days ago: I was majorly impressed. This store, even the PARKING LOT, has been completely renovated. Beautiful wide plank flooring. So many products. Everything on my shopping list was readily available. I don't think diapers, for instance, should be in the middle of "food". 4* for the product placement. Aisles seem nonsensical. To address comments from others in their reviews, regarding the *current* atmosphere. . . .yes, Walmart is often cheaper. And being the HUGE company they are, they have access to a nonstop variety of resources, so sometimes they'll have products more available. But in acquiring those lower prices, consider the possibility of lower quality (produce). Personnel is something business have to deal with. Managers need to keep in mind you can always go elsewhere. And, Ryan (see his review), who was abused by an employee this year! should have gone straight to the manager. The complaints on prices/coupons/ads, etc. It's maddening, and appears to be structured against the consumer. LOL. My recommendation is have a plan and know the rules. Sorry, it may be a little time consuming but it gets easier through repetition. And know (this reality makes utterly no sense to me) the "sales" vary from store to store. This was pointed out to me at the 15th St store a few years back. I was looking for a particular awesome sale item, like 10 limes for $1. A manager came to the disagreement, looked at the ad, and said, "That's only at the store out on 21st". Who knew? That's why you have to choose *your* store online. (If this has changed, I'm unaware). Another tip: shop as soon as possible when ads change, I thought. They run out of product FAST. Hubby took our shopping list on a Wednesday when ads are new. He got absolutely nothing that was advertised. They told him a shipment would be in the next day. I went on Friday and got it all. So I say shop early and still feel validity in that. Hope my experience helps somewhat.

At one time, Reasor's was an outstanding addition to Owasso for groceries…read more It was a great alternative to the bare bones, no frills cattle car experience of shopping at Walmart. Sadly, in recent years, since the corporate buyout happened, Reasor's has steadily gone downhill. Their meat department seems to be hit the hardest. Rarely can you find decent cuts of meat, and the quality seems to have taken a hit. Their Red Bud farms products are prices much higher than other alternatives and the product isn't any better. Shelves are often only partially stocked, and their produce options have dwindled as well. Being the only real option in Owasso, the entire community is sort of hamstrung between shopping at one of the two locations, or making a trip to Tulsa. I've started spreading things out a bit and offloading a lot of purchases at the new Costco, simply because the meat is better and less expensive. For a really nice quality meat purchase, I'll go to the local BB Meats butcher shop, and if I really want fresh quality produce, I'll hit up Sprouts. I hate that I have to do this because my time is fairly valuable to me, and I hate having to make shopping that much more intrusive on my schedule, but it is what it is. I really wish some other grocery outlet could come in and undercut/oversell Reasor's because I think they've gotten VERY complacent over the last several years. Some new competition would be good for the community overall. I'm leaving this a 3 star review, only because I can't do 2.5 stars, and 2 is just a little low.

Wow. I can't say enough about that staff at this place. Everyone was super friendly and helpful…read more My sister and I made a trip to come here and eat and we are so happy we did! We were seated in Justin's section and if you go there please ask for him! He is so friendly, helpful and loves working there! I had the breakfast cowboy burrito, it was good but I was also very happy with the salsa it came with. The salsa wasn't watery, and had a little bite to It. My sister got the veggie scramble she said it was great. We also wanted to try the cheesy grits, I'm a huge grit fan but honestly, these fell short. They had an enamel after taste from the crock they came in and seriously needed salt. But other than that everything was really good! Definitely make a reservation ahead of time as they do get busy!

I did some heavy duty shopping at the Merc.!!!! and also left behind probably a dozen more things I would've loved to have picked up and brought home. Yes, I would say it's a little more expensive than your average kitchen supply store but if you're going to somewhere upscale, I would say the prices are in line with that type of property. Lucky me -I made reservations for lunch for myself (since the boys decided they did not want anything to do with my shopping extravaganza!) I can't get over the quality and the quantity of the food. It's absolutely fabulous. They gave me complementary biscuits and homemade strawberry rhubarb jam. I would rate it five star -the biscuits just which you would like- light and fluffy and the jam freshly made and delicious. I also ordered what was called olive bread just because I love olives so much. I thought it would be a piece or two of bread with olives but instead it's like four or five pieces of bread, so I'll definitely be taking some home and it will become my dinner along with whatever else I have left because their portions are very generous. For my main course, I ordered the cornbread fish over rice and creamed spinach. It's not only beautiful and don't you know we eat with our eyes first!! Well, just take a look for yourself. Oh, me oh my happy day.!!!! Justin is my server. Everyone in both the restaurant and retail area have been absolutely wonderful and have helped me a couple times as I had questions and then I brought a baking pan down to pay for it with all my other Mercantile items not knowing that if the merch is up in the bakery, you gotta pay for it in the bakery....I did get a lot of stuff up there- some cookies, brownie and scones and some "vintage" candy for my husband. I don't know why I didn't put that small Bundt pan on the counter!! They actually have a beautiful staircase, but they also have an elevator so with my bum leg that was my choice. I took the mini Bundt pan back up, paid for it and then proceeded to take my three XL or maybe even 2XL Mercantile Brown Handled Bags out to my trunk. (I hope that my husband doesn't put me on top of the car for the ride home!!!) ----at the very least, I'm probably going to be squished in the backseat with those bags and my 72# dog; however, this was TOTALLY worth it. I can't stop smiling. I love it here. All that shopping made me hungry and timing was perfect so once my bags were safely in the trunk -I walked right up to the hostess stand -she confirmed my table was ready and I was seated on a very comfy cushioned area that was behind my 2-top but I believe it extended to either side of me where the tables were both 4-tops. Justin was my server and he was fantastic. He took excellent care of me and I observed him giving the same high quality customer service to customers at his other tables. He had that charming OK accent and indeed told me he had lived at the next little town all his life. We had actually passed through Bartlesville on the way to "The Bunkhouse" (our ABNB for the 2-nights which was very near Pawhuska. (I'll be posting other reviews regarding the "Merc" mercantile and general store and the merchandise available and what I purchased.) This is one of my best days ever. The only thing that could've added to my joy was if Ree Drummond herself made an appearance. I was shocked when I went out to leave for home and found the Drummond Ranch truck parked next to my car. I never found out if it was just parked there as an advertisement, (although I don't think they need any advertising), or if there was a Drummond on the premises. I didn't mention I took 2 Turkey Bacon Club Sandwiches along with the home made potato chips (they came with each sandwich) and a side of MacNCheese which is what the boys chose from the menu. Happy to report that everything was made to order as requested and my family enjoyed their meal just as much as I did-however they missed the incredible ambience!!!
