Me and my wife recently stopped here the day after Christmas to grab a few things while seeing family and friends. This place was absolutely packed and busy. Conveniently located right off the highway, this place features everything that you can expect from a Walmart. Plenty of great stuff was on sale as the Christmas stuff was already on sale and they had some New Year's items. Fair selection of food. The check out line was very long but the bathrooms were modest for the most part. All in all it was a average Walmart experience. read more

This is not a bad Walmart per se. it's a big one. Staff is fairly helpful. They are busy most of the time. Store is not too messy. You can find some deals and lower prices on some items if you have the time and look. This is better than the Macedonia Walmart. Not customer friendly I spent several minutes trying to find somebody to let me into a fitting room. The person closest to the area had to call someone else which took another few minutes. When I needed to leave the fitting room to get different clothing sizes the door had been closed and locked during the short time I was away. I had to search for someone to unlock the door again! They are not understaffed. Typically you find two or three employees working in a group so they can talk, or just standing around talking. I had to ask an employee to provide me with prices on three items that had neither signage with the price or tags with the price. She was cordial but indicated her scanner would not reflect a discounted (clearance) price if applicable, so that was also a waste of time as well. The store is OK but one senior employee needs to think about retiring. In particular the rude short woman that "runs " the self checkout. She will pluck you out of one area, direct you to another register without any improvement in flow. The absolute puzzling thing is, after she redirected me to a specific register, she runs in front of me with her arms stretched in a big "x" in front of me! She yelled ,"you have to wait! "All this while I was trying to do whatever her little power trip was trying to get accomplished(nothing). I was social distancing about 12 feet from the finishing person and just was trying to get along lol. This person is not the person to coordinate anything without driving business away. Management does nothing as this person has always caused me problems. She also gave me a sermon when she used to run a register. She needs demoted again to stocking. Until then, I will take my business elsewhere. No problem. I really should call corporate to report this person since management doesn't act. read more

In store personnel gave outstanding service. Great experience. Install was quick and efficient. Love the staff here. My disappointment was due to Walmart Customer Service Call Center. Hence the 1 star. I purchased the tires on sale for $130.00 per tire. The very next day the tires dropped in price to $108.00 ( I received an alert on the Walmart app addressed to me). Today while calling Walmart customer service, the Walmart customer service representative tells me that the price is now $100.00 per tire. I ask for a refund for the difference and Walmart refuses to credit me the difference. The representative is also very unprofessional and snappy with a sarcastic attitude and unwilling to assist or make the situation better. Unfortunately I won't be buying TIRES FROM WALMART. Any other tire sellers would be more than willing to credit you the difference. Or do something to make the situation better. read more

First of all, Joanne, cashier in the automotive section is the bomb!!! She was so sweet and courteous. This Walmart is Semi truck friendly and accommodating.. Store is clean and so are restrooms. Truckers do not leave your trash on the ground! This is one thing we were told is that they love the truckers but they tend to leave trash behind.. so take it with you or out it in the trash can read more

Let me preface this by saying that I've only been to this location during off-peak hours. I'm sure that influences some of my experiences. Upon entry, i noticed that this location seems to take cleanliness more serious than most Wal-Mart locations. The store looks good when you walk in. The aisles are free from debris and clutter and the shelves are stocked with adequate merchandise. If you happen to be in an aisle and need assistance, it can be tough to locate an associate. Again, this could be due to the time of day that I'm usually here. The check out process is fairly simple as well. I'm a fan of places that allow both self checkout and cashier assisted lanes to exist simultaneously. I've never had to wait for long and the well- supplied inventory usually means I have more to purchase than I came in for. read more

Best demonstration of not wanting customers in this store today. Went there around 4 today. Had a cart full of groceries. No actual cashiers working and over half of the estimated 30 self checkout registers were closed. There were 25+ people waiting to get to a register. Line not moving much. No manager or person around to ask to open registers. There were lots of workers in isles processing pick up orders. But no one to help the poor kid trying to help get customers through the self checkouts that were working. Won't be going back anytime soon! read more

I've tried for 3 weeks to contact a customer service member at 9:30am and the phone rings for at least 20 minutes with no answer. I then hang up because that's not even department I wanted. Is it just me, or do the vast majority of Walmart employees seem to just hate their lives? Would it kill ya to crack a smile? This Walmart is no different in the poor customer service arena. Sad, but true. The store used to be a complete mess (disheveled and Unstocked) but it appears that has gotten better over the past few months. The produce here is pretty decent if you ask me, which is refreshing. They have a miserably small international foods department though....unless you just want some soy sauce and rice. Their ready made food bar always looks horrible....dried out and gross looking. Can't attest to the taste because you couldn't even give me that stuff for free! Parking here is good though. They have a good amount of handicap spots and even some of those electric car charging spaces. It is easy to get in and out of here too which is nice! read more

Walmart is pretty much Walmart. A huge supermarket where you can pretty much find anything. From produce to clothes, from cooking utensils to car material, from outdoor stuff to pharmacie... just pretty much anything. I would say it can make it easy for people so they don't have to go to several locations to do their full list of shopping/groceries. Their prices is usually decent, but I never really see sales over there. I usually use Walmart for their crafting section more than anything else. It is pretty standard and reliable. I never had any issue with people working there. read more

However, I find it important to let all of you know that this is the most poorly managed Wal-Mart that I have ever walked into. Now, for the record, I say this not based on one or two visits. I repeated that I was there to pick up money that had been wired to me. She responded, "It's not a Moneygram.". I then asked, "So what's it called?" She said indignantly, "It's called receiving money". I could no believe how ignorant this woman was. I asked to see a supervisor who simply listened as the clerk created a totally different story. While ignorant, she is, also, good a lying. When I asked the supervisor what she planned on doing about the situation, she said, "We'll handle it". Without a doubt, she was on the side of the clerk. Hats off to the near idiot that decided to operate with one entrance/exit. All cars now park in one area closest to the open entrance making it a good walk if you can't get a space closest to the door. Then when inside, if you want housewares or pharmacy/ you have to walk another 1/4 mile to get to that part of the store passing the closed entrance on the way. You then pay and walk another 1/4 mile to get out and back to your car. We are used to coping with rude employees and now some fool comes up with this. Update on Vision Center. After swearing I would never darken their door(s) again I was in need of a new prescription for contacts and as I see a retinal surgeon on a regular basis (so my eye health is closely monitored) due to having ocular histoplasmosis, I decided that I would- in spite of my last experience- give them another try. I also realized that my negative review was primarily based on rude customers and while the staff could have been more attentive to me, perhaps they did not know how to handle the situation I described in my initial review. Interestingly enough I experienced the same type of rude customers but the technicians handled it quite well this time. As for the exam and the doctor.... Top notch. Dr. Landes was thorough and professional and I give him very high marks. My husband had an exam also and he was pleased with Dr. Landes too. read more

I moved to Streetsboro 2 years ago. I shop at this store 2 or 3 times a week. I have a good impression of the staff and the whole store in general every time I visit. The store is well stocked and easy to find what you are looking for. The staff in the pharmacy are especially helpful. The employees at the self express check out are alway friendly and know their jobs very well. I have had a good experience with the order online and pick up in store system. Also, there are enough employees around the store to help if you need to find anything. The store is very clean and neat. It is my favorite WalMart. read more

I tried Walmart delivery for the 2nd time. Not going to be a 3rd. They didn't include the most expensive item, but of course charged me for it. When I called the next day I had to call two different numbers, spent 1/2 hour to receive a refund in 3-4 days. They refused to refund the $9.95 delivery charge for my inconvenience. How can they charge a fee when they didn't deliver the entire order? Very disappointed to say the least. Too corporate; no personal service - they don't care. Dealing with the people who work here is ridiculous. I purchased $6 in items from here, but somehow got charged for $67. The cashier didn't give me a reciept so all I wanted was for the manager to look to see that the cashier was clearly $61 over, but she snaps at me and says "that is handled by our cash office, who isn't here now." I understand that it is a busy store, but this is CLEARLY your error and she could've at least given me some options, for a college student being charged that much over takes a hit on any weekend plans. Because of this (and this isn't the first time I has to deal with the rudeness of Wal-Mart employees) I will stick to Target. Finally a retailer that gets it! Customers don't want to be bothered my employees wanting to help them. If we need help we prefer to run around the entire just to find one person to tell us that they can't help us. Making sure that my groceries aren't out of date is a fun little scavenger hunt that I get to play every time I go shopping at Wal-Mart. I honest don't know why people go to other stores when they could play food poisoning roulette. Do you need to catch up on the latest celebrity gossip? Have no fear! The Streetsboro Walmart register lines will give you more then enough time to find on the latest buzz with Jennifer Lawrence, T Swift, or Brad Pitt. I always get my oil changed at the Streetsboro Walmart. Once they didn't put my oil filter on. It was like they knew how much I hate the environment and my car! With my oil change it is only $10 to get my tires rotated. What a bargain! I have heard stories that they sent cars out without the bolt screwed in. My fingers are crossed that some day my tires won't be properly secured. Can you imagine the rush that would be? All and all I would recomend the Streetsboro Walmart to all my friends and family. In this post I am about to share my shopping experience at Walmart in Streetsboro yesterday, December 6. I felt scared, insulted, and then angry at the way Walmart universally detained and searched its customers. The following review summarizes my experience along with every customer I saw trying to exit this Walmart. Walmart needs its customers, especially during the holiday season and this is a deplorable to treat customers. I am very upset at the policy of detaining customers universally at the exit of this store. I don't think it is legal. When I was trying to exit the store, a person asked to see my receipt which, thankfully, I found easily. He then allowed me to exit and at that time, I thought it was simply because my detergent was not in a bag and had no "paid" sticker to indicate that I paid for that item. While returning my shopping cart to the inside of the store because it was closer than the parking shopping cart return location, and after going back into the store to use their restroom facility, there was a gathering of customers at the exit. No one could leave, all were being detained, by a Walmart employee in order for him to compare their receipts with the merchandise in their carts. I was alarmed at the amount of people and all were detained and no one could exit without his releasing. It felt similar to airport security and was not anything I expected since no one's safety was the factor. When I wanted to exit this time having only used their restroom and no products, this security person would not let me exit without looking at a receipt.- an action that is unnecessary for a person who purchased nothing. I said that I had no receipt, pulled open my coat wide with my arms extended to show that it was just little me and my purse and no products. I told him that this is very insulting. However, this Walmart employee is merely doing his job. This is apparently Walmart's policy during the happy holiday season. Walmart held - detained - all of its customers trying to exit their store. Walmart asked to examine each customer's receipt to compare with items in his/her shopping cart. Customers with no purchased items were asked to show their receipts. These extreme measures of being detained and searched were without any warning - I saw no signs and did not fill out any form giving up my rights to freedom from detainment or searches. I am prepared for such measures at our airports, and voluntarily do so for the sake of public safety, but I am not prepared to do so in order to shop at Walmart in Streetsboro. read more

Wal-Marts in general, are disgusting places to shop! You feel like you are in an old, converted slaughterhouse, with related smells, and these pathetic fools have NO clue how to manage a retail store! When the place gets crowded, they seem to only want to have 2 cash registers open! I was at the North Olmsted location the other day, and had a cart full of perishables (food) and non-food items. I could not believe the lines! Probably 20 deep and only 3 or 4 registers open, during one of their busy seasons! After waiting about 20 minutes in line, with still about 15 people in front of me, I just abandoned my full cart in utter frustration and threw my hands in the air and promptly left! I just called the Streetsboro location to complain about the 50 pc box of fried chicken I ordered for a dinner party on yesterday. I explained to the salesperson, Peggy who was very nice, that the chicken breading was so hard and dry we had to peel it off to get to the then dry chicken inside. I usually order from Giant Eagle (Several time a year) and was shopping in their store and decided to give them a try...My mistake.
