Most would say all Walmarts are pretty much the same but I felt this Walmart was well stocked and clean, no blockage of isles. Also had more of a variety of items then my local store has. I was also well greeted and when an employee walked passed I was greeted and asked if any help was needed. Customer Service is a big part of today's jobs and employees just stand and talk in a circle or it takes a customer 10 minutes to find help or told by another employee "Sorry not my department" is not very appealing to customers. Here at this location I did not experience any of that nor any rudeness from employees. So far it seems to be as a well oiled machine and my visit was enjoyable. Well Done. read more

The price of my auto service for tires and standard oil change was awesome, staff is great. The auto cashier was helpful in assisting me in finding what I needed. The employee Belinda was amazing. The time on waiting for your auto service is horrible. I came in at 0830 for a service that was told to be approximately two hours, meaning I'd be good to go around 1030-1045. After sitting for 3-1/2 hours I asked for a status because my vehicle is sitting in the parking lot, only oil change completed. This has to be a staffing issue. It's Friday usually places like this are busier on the weekends. read more

Do not believe walmart takes care of its employees. They constantly change policies. They dont pay holiday pay and in place give a discount. Which my wife worked thanksgiving and did not recieve one because she was late but used her protected pto. I really feel walmart being such a large corporation could take better care of their employees. read more

took my car to walmart tire center as a radial belt broke. i asked them to put the spare tire on it for me as i didn't have a jack. once they pulled my car into the shop to work on it, it took them 1 hour 45 minutes to change one tire. unbelievably slow. don't ever go here unless you have a few hours with nothing else to do. read more

Well it's Wal Mart, in Waveland Mississippi. Considered myself lucky the town has one. Came in for a few items. The store was clean, people were friendly ,found what I wanted and didn't stand in line for ever. I guess that's all one can hope for. This is an A-OK wal-mart. There is an automotive shop, photo lab, retail area and grocery. This wal-mart is roughly 3 years old and has all that is expected of a wally world. It is a nice Wal-Mart and has everything you can expect from a Wal-Mart. It isn't 24 hours (that I can recall anyway), but I don't think the business would really support it either. I can't think of a reason not to give it four stars, but I can't think of any compelling reasons to give it four stars either. Today I was met in line for new tires to be installed on my 18 year old Caddy. It still offers a good ride, so for the forth time, I was willing to risk a chance to get some of the future 60,000 miles promised. The black man taking orders was quite animated in his service. I was taken with his sincerity to provide good service, so after waiting 15 minutes, he started addressing my needs, but suddenly noticed my old VA ball cap, bought at my last VA physical in May. It had "USAF" embroidered on the front, and "Air Force" in blue, on the back adjust strap. He dropped all interest in the tires, and started telling me of His service in the Navy, and how the first good meals were enjoyed courtesy of the USAF after arriving by ship at Hickham AF Base, Hawaii. Then he resumed filling the order. Two hours later, my car was still untouched. When I mentioned this to the service desk lady, he overheard my forgotten place in the service line, and jumped to my rescue. I was moved into first place. Soon I was ready to pay my bill, and as I was doing this, he came in from the outside service department and stopped this process, letting everyone know how much he appreciated my service in the USAF, and even MORE SO , that it was in Viet Nam. He asked me in what capacity I had served, and rank. I responded, "Pilot, Capt" . I did Not anticipate what followed. He said " Those that served there had earned his Special Respect for their service," and snapped to attention and lifted his hand in salute, holding it, until I automatically returned his salute, and then he dropped it and offered his hand in gratitude. As I looked up, I saw a far away look in his eyes, as though he was looking over an immense gathering of other service men, that only he saw. Over 50 years I've remembered those years away from my family, flying thousands of hours, and over 100 combat missions. Some others who also served have exchanged respect for mutual appreciation of shared combat service, but this black man from Wal Mart has my first shared personal feeling of appreciation, that came from standing in line to buy some tires. This is by far the worst Wal-Mart ever! The service is so poor and don't even think about coming in close to midnight. You will be mistreated as a customer and even after waiting in line forever with all of your purchases loaded on the register, you will be told YOU HAVE TO MOVE. This register closes at midnight. Sheesh! The checker could have been nice enough to say that the register closes automatically at midnight. But no. I guess she just wanted to get off her shift and to heck with the customer At least it won't be long before this isn't the only game in town!!!! read more

Waveland MS. Wal Mart is a 24 hour store. It's nice to go at night when they are restocking, (as that is when the store has little customers) and I find things they are out of but are in the process of restocking around 11:00 P. M. to after midnight. The employees are very helpful as I am handicap in a power-chair from a loss of my right leg and 50% loss of my right arm from Katrina and I am a senior citizen. They always help me load my groceries in my handicap van when I have large orders. Most of the time I don't even have to ask as the cashiers ask me first if I need help. I do but hate to ask. That's going the extra mile for the customer in my book. read more

Many of the workers are nice. The young male workers are not. Haha, I wonder how these young teenagers got these jobs in the first place. They would've failed the personality test or is it the know someone connections? These young workers love to make fun of the customers and not doing their jobs. I can't say if I've seen lost prevention group following. I get what I need, and I'm out. The return policy is good. Never had a rough time. Walmart in Waveland isn't the worst. Employers would need to advocate better ethical behaviors though. read more
