Such a cute old school pharmacy shop! If they had an ice cream parlor I would be complete!! It's basically your mom and pop type pharmacy! It's a pharmacy where everyone knows your name :-) They have plenty of medical necessities for ourchase such as creams you find in the hospitals (calmseptine) to locally produced items such as candles and Nola apparels. I usually come here to fill a prescription that other "retail" pharmacies do not carry. Today they only had a few of my pills left in stock. They filled what they had and will call me next week to come get the rest. How nice! I really like that old town feel that we are currently missing! I hope everyone can come support their locals. I think my prescription may be a few dollars more but worth it for supporting my local pharmacy. read more

They SOLD OUT to the hospital and have lost their hospitality and are now basically a wallgreens! I am a long time supporter of SMALL businesses but they are no longer. Sad to see this happen. I was treated poorly when I tried to renew a script that was 1 week early. Bye!!! Not doing business with them anymore. read more

I was wandering around this store as my husband was being treated at the hospital. I thought to myself- this is such a nice place to wander for a distraction. Then the guy behind the pharmacy counter asked me if I was picking up meds- and I said "no, thank you very much for your good customer service" and then I looked at him- a man would like to hand me medicines for my very ill husband... unmasked. Then I looked around and all 3 of the employees I saw in the store were unmasked. I understand people's desires for freedom, but I also know the burden of dealing with long term effects of viral illnesses- and I know the burden of caution for someone I love who is highly vulnerable. It isn't something I would wish on anyone- and I don't just wish- I know my actions to prevent the spread of illness matter. I'd think a pharmacy next to the hospital would do better. I've seen this at restaurants and grocery stores- but a pharmacy?? Put a sign on the outside "attention- employees at the store don't wear masks- if that's cool with you come on in. If you are visiting ting someone at the hospital with a high infection risk or have a high infection risk yourself- shop at Walgreens" I would've gone elsewhere. read more

This place is literally a drugstore and people with compromised immune systems may need medicine, along with their family members and caretakers. Despite this, NO ONE is wearing a mask, including the pharmacist. I will never support this drugstore again. read more

This place is a local favorite, my mom loves it. They always gets her medicine correct but we have to go back and forth with the doctors to make sure it was sent. Braswell is very slow so you have to have patience with them to get the medication to you in a timely manner. read more

Hands-down BEST drug store on Northshore. Great customer service and really open to explaining medication / insurance / etc. As a long-time resident of Covington this is a huge boost to local business and overall an awesome group of people working there that make going to the pharmacy not like going to the DMV, like it can be in some stores. They also have cool merchandise from area vendors and cool toys, etc to occupy little ones if they're with you. Highly recommend! read more

Absolutely love all the employees that work here. The service is impeccable. I have seen Braswell Drugs bend over backwards to help me with some very special needs. I love the gift shop items and have purchased many over the years. I have been a customer since the 1990's. In my opinion, this is the best Drug Store that exists. I have used this drug store for over 20+ years and the service has always been top notch. The pharmacist and staff were always amazing, but in the last month or two there is new ownership and the business has gone downhill substantially. Every time I've gone in to pick up my prescription I have been given incorrect medication and also been overcharged by hundreds of dollars. Steer clear. read more
