Although they aren't Meijers..their prices are much lower overall. Over the years I've seen a difference in a good way keeping up with the needs of the people who shop there. Clean restrooms and clean throughout the store. More helpful employees consistently. Fresh fruits and vegetables. Good meats. Also, importantly is their customer service desk employees, they are always non-judgmental with returns. I do not know why people who don't shop there, stereotype the people who do. Maybe they've never experienced having a low income while having to eat? I am a Walmart shopper because I choose to. read more

This is perhaps the WORST big box store of this type I've ever had the displeasure of shopping in. In town & with time to kill while waiting for my dog at the groomers I popped in to take care of some errands & return about $7 in bottles that had been piling up at home. Entering the store, I noticed they were undertaking a remodel so the bottle return had been relocated. I'm not sure what the situation normally is at this store, but when I found the new, temporary location, there were 3 machines - 1 each for plastic, cans & glass, as well as two people with carts full, loading the machines. And the machines were slow. At any rate, I finished & took the slips to customer service. I casually mentioned my frustration with the setup & before I could even suggest adding one or two machines the employee brusquely told me "lots of people feel (that) way but it's how it is & how it's going to be a while." So, taking my $$, I asked her to let the manager know that I was intending to buy two cases of Pepsi, but I wouldn't be buying them in this store if I was going to have to go through this again to return the cans. She said she would; I know she didn't. But it doesn't end there. The layout of the store is very different than most Walmart's and nothing makes sense. Not in & of itself a problem, just a frustration, but again, the layout is illogical. The store's also very dirty, & I could tell in a couple of sections that nobody had taken responsibility for organizing for some time. Also poorly stocked. And I never even made it to the grocery side of the store. The only bright spot was the young lady stocking in toys who helpfully directed me to the pet section. Even if I lived in West Branch I wouldn't shop here with any regularity. First impressions matter, folks. read more

Absolutely terrible store. I'm missing a leg so I need to use an amigo or a wheelchair. Amigo batteries died three times on three different amigos. Got a store wheelchair. Tried using the bathroom and can't use the urinals and with the basket on the wheelchair you can't access the HANDICAP BARS IN THE HANDICAP STALL. I'll never come to a Walmart again because of this. Im only given a 1 star because they dont have a (0) star I was in here on the 3 of july I had my wife & our 6 children. We were here on vacation my kids age range 9-18 yrs when checking out I have 3 carts full of food and supplies for the week. The last thing I was buying was a 15 pack of Miller Light for my wife and I when a lady that works here walked up very rude and asked for all our I'ds. I said I had just shown the man checking us out , she explained I need all of your Id's . I let her know the children were all mine that none of them were old enough to drink. We also had 450.00 in food for camping. So I wasted 2 hrs of my family's vacation shopping here just to have someone refusing to sell me a $13 case of beer because I had my kids with me...(All with the same last name as mine) not that it should matter. So I will do my best not to use this store again. read more

This place is disgusting. I was in there for 5 minutes and counted 18 people not wearing a mask, one of them being an EMPLOYEE. They closed an entrance to help "regulate social distancing" and there are multiple signs that masks are REQUIRED yet nobody is enforcing it. So disgusting, never coming back read more

I had two tires which were leaking air. A competitor's solution was $600 for new tire even though the tires has 75 percent tried life remaining. Service Tech Steve fixed the issues for $40. Tires should last several more years read more

As I walked in the supercenter I couldn't help but feel as the employees were completely disrespectful to me and my friends and ignored our requests to find out where certain items were. And as we paid for our items an employee named 'Barb' stalked us outside and attempted to follow me to my car. Overall my experience was very unpleasant and do not recommend this wallmart to anyone due to customer relation. read more

If I could give a negative rating I would. You return something 10 minutes after you bought it, unopened and they say they can't refund you? Plus they'll have something overstocked one day and the next day not have any of it? Never had problems before but that's ******* ridiculous. read more
