Honestly it's one of the best Walmarts I've experienced. The produce is always fresh, the store is clean, and the items are usually well stocked, even after the supply chain was upended by Covid. I strongly suspect it's low stars is simply due to the small population of Winona and the bias toward reviewing negative when you're upset, but doing nothing when you're satisfied. read more

Do not take your vehicle to the car care center. I know of one time they didn't put oil back in the car causing it to blow the motor. An other time they didn't put oil back in but the driver caught it before any damage. And another time they didn't tighten the drain plug on the car. All of this happened in 6 months. read more

If I could give a -star i would so most Walmarts autocare to get oil changes are pretty much helpful. Not the one in Winona all they could offer was you have to make an appointment online. When did Walmart start doing that I always knew growing up that you drive up and they get your info and they tell you it will be about 30 mins or so not we won't be able to get you in. So that's irritating. So for anybody that looking to get an oil change don't go to Walmart especially in Winona MN service is terrible. read more

My granddaughter bought 400 dollars worth of gift cards from Walmart and when she went to register them she was told that they were already in someone else account and they would not refund her money even with her receipt. She asked them why and was told that someone was running a scam with their gift cards, so they were already no good when she bought them from their store. They list items as on sale and then when you show up they change the story. Apparently there was "too much interest shown" on a sale item so they took it off the shelves to price them at a higher price. False advertising at its finest. read more

Stopped in for paint since I had to go there anyway. Rang the dept. desk bell. Heard the page go off at least 10 times while I waited 5-10 min. Left without purchasing anything in my cart (but polite enough to put it back). Called the store one day to ask something...No answer, hmmm a 24 hour store and no one picked up to help. went there for tires took near 2 weeks to get tires in . when they finally got the tires in i went to put them on they said my nuts were swollen they did not have replacements and i could reschedule. i found the service person rude. i put brakes on 2 weeks ago the nuts are fine. probably never shop there again. As a frequent customer of this store my recent visit left me distraught. These boomer employees need to find a new job and stop making peoples lives difficult. I entered this store today to purchase Vick's DayQuil&Nyquil medicine for my cold and upon showing my ID my girlfriend was asked for her ID as well. I get showing my ID but why her? We're both well over 18 and this old hag knew it. But she clearly wanted to make our night difficult because we explained to her that my girlfriend didn't bring her wallet because she isn't purchasing anything. The woman still Denys us and we decide instead of causing a scene we'd leave and drop her off and I would come back alone. GUESS WHAT! THE OLD FREAKING HAG TELLS HER COWORKERS TO DENY ME AGAIN EVEN THOUGH I CAME TO THE STORE ALONE!!!!! This is ridiculous she's no longer with me and they clearly are itching for conflict. I tell her coworker who is another old 5 days away from heart failure but of course I didn't say that but kept my calm and said I am here alone go check the parking lot and cameras here's my ID let me purchase my item and go. She refuses still and says you can speak to my manager. Fast forward 4 minutes later managers walks up I explain to him the situation he looks bothered this is what it's all about tells her to run my card and she does so but is aggressively tapping her computer for the transaction just because she didn't get her way.
