Wytheville, VA Walmart has declined significantly in customer service. I purchase $400-$500 in groceries weekly through grocery pickup. I get smashed cans, produce in same bag as raw chicken, bags with one handle, bags with holes in the bottom, and many, many items not bagged at all. This order had four 2 liters bottles of soda, 4 cartons of orange juice, coffee creamer, raisins and boxes of cereal in no bags...just loose. I've called and complained to the manager and it does no good. read more

Just wanted to give a shout out to this particular store. Visited the other day and they actually had well stocked, clean and organized shelves and many employees actively engaged in upkeep. Quite refreshing! read more

It's fine. Early in the am they don't have both doors open. Tons of employees here restocking shelves. All very pleasant. None wearing masks, perhaps all vaccinated? Given low vaccination rates in the area, seems unlikely. But it's a fine Walmart. read more

Even though none of them are open 24/7....7 am to 11 pm is still very convenient. Love the "safe place" overnight parking when we are exhausted during a long journey. Thank you Walmart. read more

We were traveling back home Tuesday in our camper. Campgrounds in Va. and W.Va. wouldn't let us in (Governors orders due to virus), Walmart was our savior and let us camp in their parking lot overnight, thank you so much! read more

The greatest issue with this Walmart is lack of variety in their products. They simply never have what I want while most other Walmart's have it. I have had mixed customer service. That is, some people at checkout don't even look at me to say thank you but occasionally I'll get someone who says "thank you" but whatever. I'm going to start going to another Walmart. read more

I was able to find everything no needed with ease. There were plenty of checkout lines to go to so there wasn't a line to wait on which was great. There was someone there supervising who was really nice and was asking how I was doing which is great. There's plenty of parking to go to when you're there. read more

Don't waste your time at this Wal-Mart!! You hardly ever find anything two times in a row!! They don't put things where they're suppose to be to begin with!! Then when you go back to get the same item because you like it of course it's either in another place or they have none in stock!! This is why I only go there for my prescriptions!! I travel around 30 minutes just to shop at a different/better Wal-Mart!! I can't stand the Wytheville, VA Wal-Mart!! read more

Apparently Wal-Mart has decides to restock some items. I have come repeatedly for the past two weeks to get Buggies Little Movers size 4. I went today to get steel cut oatmeal and had there was NOTHING. Not one box. I am not asking for much-just some necessities. This has become the norm instead of the exception. I have told several workers about the lack of items and yet it continues; the apathy amazes me. I am seriously thinking of going elsewhere. I am losing my patience. read more
