Outpost is not the address on the website- read the fine print! 2. Fill out all your paperwork online before you arrive! They don't have any signal to do it there and they don't have paper copies. Plus their iPad died for us to do it there. It was a headache! 3. They didn't have enough people working which added to the time we had to wait. The staff were overwhelmed and not able to keep up with everything. There were atleast 20 people behind us in line and I hate to know how long they waited!

The rock jumping mid way through the trip is a lot of fun. The Tuckaseegee River is a relatively warm river for WNC so it's great for swimming in the summer as well.
