As a former student of Amphi I can say this school is one of the worst schools I have ever been to…read more First off it barely had any resources for kids for are excelling or kids who are falling behind. The classes for common subjects are limited and fill up fast making it so that other students are not able to join them. Most of the classes teach their subject very slowly and often students would not learn much. Secondly there are not many things to do at the school. There are limited after school clubs and activities. They don't have a lot of usual activities most high schools generally have. Third the school stuff does nearly nothing to enforce rules. Kids fighting, smoking, and skipping publicly are rarely caught or punished. There are barely any security or teachers to catch kids. Fourth most of the school is unkempt with dirty rooms and unclean halls. I would not recommend going to this school.

Mountain Rose is awesome location on the Northside for students that need to graduate early or on…read moretime. Haley the principal puts her heart into helping kids graduate. Rick the Assistant Principal also goes the extra mile. I'd encourage any parent or student to go for a tour. The facility is brand new, the computers are high tech and students can work at their own pace with help. I couldn't say enough about the staff. It's the real deal when other schools have dropped the ball.
