Walters Opticians aim to always put the patient first and offer the sort of personal and high quality service that is rarely experienced these days.We offer a comprehensive eye test, backed up by an extensive range of ophthalmic equipment. In addition, we have an ophthalmic laboratory to make spectacles on the premises.
*Sight testing of all ages, realistically from 4 years onwards, however if there are concerns about children younger than 4 years we are happy to examine and refer on where necessary with our findings.
*Contact lens fitting and aftercare including the use of the latest Corneal topographer to measure for bespoke contact lens designs
*Occupational sight testing (DSE, drivers, HGV etc)
*Spectacle dispensing with FBDO qualified Dispensing Opticians
*Children's eye care, Eye examinations, spectacles and contact lens services.
*Spectacle accessories - cases, clothes, cleaning solutions, spectacle chains, cords -, if there is something you would like but we haven't got it in stock, then we will find out where we can get it for you.
*Impartial advice on laser treatment and inter ocular implant technology
*Digital Retinal photography - Invaluable in the monitoring eye conditions and remarkable Retinal changes. Images can be compare to previously taken images to build a history and monitor changes.
*OCT Laser Retinal scanning - Mapping the Macular, optic nerve head and the nerve fibre layer to enable monitoring and assessment for Glaucoma and Macular degeneration.

Established in 1998.
Walters Opticians is an independent family owned and run opticians currently entering its 20th year.
We have seen many changes since the opening in 1998 which includes a second opening of a practice in North Hykeham Lincoln 2006.

I love creating stunning eyewear - I like to listen to patients, take on board what they need and want and use my experience and expertise to make the perfect pair of spectacles. These no better feeling when you take a patient who dreads wearing spectacles, and making something they absolutely love!
