This is a fantastic clinic, well organized, friendly with extremely good care. I have had more progress here than any other chiropractor. The doctors are extremely well trained and skilled. I am thankful they do a thorough assessment complete with xrays before adjusting. They also check for progress as time passes. I have progressed a lot and am pain free. Stay away from this place!! I just moved and was looking for a new go-to chiropractor in the area. Their office smells horrible and everything is outdated from the "welcome video" they show, to their equipment such as their adjustment tables to their therapy machines. The staff are not very nice and their customer service skills are even more impressively bad. The adjustment that I received was a manual one (which I am used to from my previous chiropractor) but the chiropractor did not do a good/ thorough job. After my first appointment they have me a "plan of care" which covered around 2 months of care and they told me that "my portion" was going to be over $2,000 - even after applying my insurance (blue cross blue shield). They gave me the option to pay the entire cost upfront to save like $200 in the long run... I practically laughed in their face and let them know I did not have 2k to spend on chiropractic care. My total that one day ended up being around $75 for one visit- worst money I have ever spent. I basically just took $75 dollars and threw it off the Eiffel tower. I have been going to Peavy Chiropractic for many years! I have always been very impressed with their professionalism and quality of care. I see Dr. Walters, and I love that as soon as I told him I was pregnant, he started explaining the Webster technique, and told me things he could do to during my pregnancy to help with the baby and make sure my baby was not breach on delivery day. They do get pretty busy just before closing and right when they reopen after lunch. read more

I have been going to chiropractors most of my life and I had the WORST experience here. I am new to Mississippi and was looking for a good chiropractor. When I called this clinic to get a price quote on their adjustments, they would not give me any information unless I came in to see the doctor first. Since they said that the first VISIT was free, I decided to go in. My appointment was at 4:00pm and I did not get to see the doctor until 4:50pm! He gave me a consultation and then an adjustment. When we were finished, I spoke with the front desk ladies and told them that STILL nobody has informed me on the prices for a regular adjustment. They told me the cost (over $40.00) and said that is what I owe for the day. They did not believe me when I said that the woman on the phone said the first VISIT was free, not just the first CONSULTATION. I was so mad because they did not tell me the price until after I had jumped through all of their hoops. I told them that I could not afford that amount because I was a student and asked if there was anyone I could speak to about the matter. They said no... and were NOT friendly about it saying that "we can't just give away free adjustments." I never expected a free adjustment. I am more than happy to pay for a service if I know the cost beforehand. I was so upset and they just stared at me until I handed them my credit card. Before leaving I suggested that in order to have good customer service, they should inform their customers of costs beforehand... and the lady gave me a look as if I had just bad-mouthed her family. I don't mind paying for a bill. But those two women bullied me into paying for something that I was not prepared for. NEVER AGAIN! The only reason I even gave this clinic a one star rating was because Dr. Houseal's adjustment was satisfactory. read more
