Stopped in today to get frames adjusted, which took less than 5 minutes - excellent 2nd visit. My husband lost his WB sunglasses in Florida that we bought him 2 years ago in California so we went to WB at Capitol hill. We also got him regular glasses with new prescription that we had. Initially we chose some model that he didn't like when it arrived so we came to exchange and they were understanding and no problems at all. New glasses came even quickly. The realization that old age has finally caught up with me. At least Warby Parker had some style to soften the blow. Having my eye appointment done somewhere else had me wondering what type of glasses to get because for someone who spends their day in front of a computer screen all day, these were an important part of me not making mistakes when reviewing data. Thankfully my eyesight has led to no more disaster than a whoopsie daisy, but with my new WP glasses, clarity of vision, cost per pair, and classy look are all in alignment. My experience in the store was pretty good, but I do wish they had some additional zany frames with wild colors for those of us who just want a tiny little flare to fly. They arrived before expected, and the case has held up beautifully after being hauled on numerous adventures. Will definitely buy again. read more

Has been to this location for 4 years now and have always had a pleasant experience with the staffs. But last time i came here the new staff member David was making it extremely uncomfortable and stressful for me. I came in because my glasses broke out of no where (which im guessing maybe there was a crack i didn't see) and he was implying that i was lying about not breaking it on accident (like why would you say that because i'm paying for a new pair of glasses anyway?). He also pressured me into adding a new pair, as well as a bunch of different add-ons and making me almost spent twice the amount that i had anticipated on things that i never thought i need and i have said that i don't want to. I was kept inside the store for almost 90 minutes (an hour and a half), which is insane. We kept going back and forth and he kept misunderstood me even though i have made my choice clear and at the end he still messed up my order one last time, shipping it to the store instead of my address. The entire time David kept making jokes about me not spending more on the add-ons or not buying 2 pairs and those are very rude and condescending to me. He then proceeded to tell me he was just trying to help. I was almost tearing up going out of the store and that was the most stressful shopping experience i have ever had. I might start looking elsewhere next time since it seems like the company's objective has switched over the year to focus more on the sales and not the customer experience. read more

Customer service is really a hit or miss here. Two of the men that have been working there the last three times will literally look you dead in the eye and not say a single word to you when you walk in. After a few moments I said hello to one of them and they gave me a head nod to acknowledge I said something to them. Like okay?? I don't deserve for you to even move your lips in response? This must really be a Seattle thing. When I was trying on a bunch of frames, I mentioned to one of the employees that I needed low bridge frames because my glasses always fall down my nose; he just kind of nodded and went on his business just standing around. After looking around I noticed a big book filled with a bunch of low bridge options that weren't on display. All I could think was why did this guy not bother to mention the existence of this thing after I just told him that I needed low bridge options? The third time I went (I just got my updated prescription and needed to get my lenses replaced) thankfully a third, much kinder person assisted me and made me finally feel like I was welcome in there. He was so helpful and a sight for sore eyes (yes pun intended lol) in this store. read more

Warby Parker is known for their hassle free purchasing experience and stylish frames. That statement was proven again after my recent visit for my next pair of specs. They finally opened a store in Capitol Hill. The signature library-like setup is consistent with their other locations. I was greeted upon entering the store and given the space to select my frames. The staff are proven experts at recommending the correct frames based on facial width and style preference. After only trying a few frames, I selected the Bowen. I am normally picky with my frames, however their styles do agree with my preferences. The check out process is another reason why I am a repeat customer. The associate was detailed and walked me through my order from shopping, payments, and receiving an email confirmation within the span of 5 minutes. The service was consistent with their other location and I highly recommend trying them out. They even kept my prescription for future orders. read more

I've been going to Warby Parker for a few years now, and it was time to renew my prescription, so I decided to give the Capitol Hill location a try AMBIANCE The interior design of the place just seems to work. It feels inviting and the crazy colorful wall characters somehow look cohesive with the classy marble counters. SERVICE A pet peeve of mine is when employees constantly follow you around the store. There was no hovering here. The staff was great, and was able to answer any question I had without being pushy. I was able to try on as many pairs as I wanted without feeling pressured to buy any of them. OVERALL Love the design of the store, staff is super helpful and made the process completely frictionless. If I could give it a 4.5 that would be ideal, but it's not worth ONLY a 4 star! I didn't have my prescription but only tells you what all you need, so be prepared! I've heard great things about this spot and I have to say I was ready to get my clear frames! I walked in knowing what i wanted to make it super easy for me! I tried on three the gentlemen helping me picked out and was ready in five mins! I got to the register and the asked some questions, walked home uploaded the prescription and they were ready in 48 hours which normally takes 7 days! Woahhhhh that is super fast! I was very excited and happy. I had to call JUST to make sure they were in and yup, they were in! I ended up picking them up in four days and I just hit the crowd from staring! Keep in mind it dos get busy but if you set up your account and get your information added this can save time! Oh best part, they are out of network for us amazionians (VSP) BUT we can submit a claim and add the invoice (provided via email). Within 10 days you'll find out if you can get a reimbursement! The frames were 95.00 and then 30.00 for my special lens, which is wayyy cheaper than what I normally pay! So it's worth it! The time, the look, the style, the options, how quick it is, I'm sold! Ahhh he 4.5, he reason is bc I had to wait a bit to get the fitting and then when I picked up the guy working I didn't like his demeanor! So I love Warby Parker and especially this Capitol Hill location. It's not very far from my work so I enjoyed going there to get my glasses. I also enjoyed their social justice focus of buy a pair, give a pair and the fact that they help and train people in developing countries to establish their own businesses and give them free eye exams. Awesome! They have extremely fashionable frames for half the cost of something you would pay for at your optometrists office or lenscrafters, etc. It is awesome. You get high quality as well and the customer service is excellent. I also like the fact that they give you the info you need in order to get reimbursed for your glasses if your insurance is out of network. I only paid $112.00 dollars for my frames and lenses. It was a great deal! I would have paid double or triple that somewhere else! Blake was our guy that helped us and he was incredible. I loved the vibe in the store, especially the cool paintings and the books. The frames are modern and super stylish and they come out with new ones each season. They are limited in insurances they take, but can help you get reimbursed. They are awesome, great quality, and affordable. Their lenses also include a scratch proof and anti reflective coating that many places do not include. I highly recommend Warby Parker. I think you will be impressed! read more

Huge selection if colors, styles and fits. They are truly an eye glass frame store. I am not sure if I like the glasses as much (as My mom is still struggling with the fitting) but kudos to their customer service. My mom has a difficult prescription and usually it takes 3-4 times to get her prescription right. The staff is amazing and very helpful. They have already remade the glasses 3-4 times and have even given us a discount for all our troubles. I would recommend them to anyone who is buying glasses and specifically has a tough prescription. I would probably use them for my next glasses too. read more

First time going to this location was in November. I had such a great experience with the sales advisor and treated myself to a second pair or glasses. Fast forward to my next time here on 3/21 and I did not have a good experience with the sales advisor. It's been memorable but in a bad way. Even my partner pointed it out. She was rushing me, talking in a condescending tone as if i wasn't making sense. Which is weird because I ended up only going to try on some narrow fits and got my glasses adjusted. Maybe I was too talkative and upbeat from the coffee I had lol. I get everyone has bad days and it was a Sunday. I know how hard it is to work on Sundays in retail. Maybe the manager/sales supervisor here should check in with staff, give them some extra break time. This Warby Parker location is located in a very happening spot of Capitol Hill, and is conveniently close to my place. Yay! My SO needed glasses, so we found ourselves here on a Saturday afternoon. There are dozens of styles to try on, helpfully classified by width. Folks with wider faces (like my SO) will likely have a harder time finding a frame that suits them. However, we did end up finding one, so yay! The transparent, affordable prices for stylish frames are what made Warby Parker so popular in the first place, and this experience upheld that same standard. The checkout process was also extremely smooth, with the associate taking a couple of additional measurements, squaring things up on her iPad, and sending over an email confirmation and ETA for pickup within a couple of minutes. I've never purchased glasses before, but when I went into Warby Parker yesterday (after a short, 15 min wait due to COVID restrictions) the guy who helped me, I think his name was Derick, was awesome! He was very knowledgeable and patient with me, while I tried to decide what style glasses I wanted. He wasn't pushy at all and gave me suggestions and helped me find a pair that worked for my face shape. He even noticed I had lash extensions and told me about low bridge fit options so my lashes wouldn't hit the lenses! My mom accompanied me and she was also very impressed. Ordered my glasses Nov. 19th 2018, had some trouble with emails going to spam so it didn't actually get processed until Dec. 19th...customer service assured me they would be shipped express, free of charge, no later than 7 business days...today is Jan 2nd 2019 and still no update on my order or any indication they have shipped. Very bad customer service, apparently they will take your money but not deliver in the time indicated. Also, I get at least one advertisement in my inbox EVERY DAY...how many pairs of glasses do they think I need, still waiting on the one. Meanwhile my vision is suffering in an old pair of readers, should've just gone to costco and saved some money. read more

I had heard about Warby Parker online and perused their website a couple of times before moving to Seattle, and was delighted to discover they had a brick and mortar store not far from my new apartment. With a new prescription in hand, I went in with a friend the other day hoping to find a few cheaper pairs of glasses and hoping it wouldn't take too long to find some. We were in and out within 20 minutes, having found and purchased two pairs of glasses. We were greeted within a minute of entering the store. The nice employee checked out my prescription and told me I could basically choose anything in the store. She helped me find some pink crystal frames on the walls and then left to help another customer when we were rolling. One thing I will say is interesting is that all of the frames are put together by style name, not by gender (unlike their website). It was a little harder to find what I was looking for, but not a big deal. Once we had two styles in hand, a second employee checked me out and we were on our way. They shipped super fast and arrived on the 6th, which was awesome since the original quote was the 13th. And $190 for two pairs of glasses can't be beat. I'll definitely be checking them out again for glasses in the future. read more

SO Disappointed by our visit I will never return!!! After having bought my laat four pairs of glasses over the years from warby Parker I had come to expect hit or miss customer service .. I also understood the hour and a half long waite It took to be able to get into the store due to the covid-19 policies.. Unfortunately It's a drag for everyone but just how it happens to be these days ) however what I did not expect was once we were in the store that we would be moved around and rushed through as if we were waiting for a ride at Disneyland . Because they have a reservation system and people are texted when their appointment time is available, I expected After waiting an hour and a half That once we were in We would have an opportunity to choose our glasses with out a rush. Unfortunately this is Not the case & Long story short Our eye glass advisor was not Well versed with the stock they have and so we were handed off to a different advisor who was rude and short with us and rushed us through.. Though After waiting a year to purchase a new pair of glasses I was ready to purchase that day Yet ultimately finally chose to walk away and take my money elsewhere because in this day and age of having choices of where I shop and spend my money I will no longer support horrible customer service for cheap quality glasses ... As I was walking out the door I thanked the one person in the room who was slightly nice and told her she was the only enjoyable part of our experience having been in there. Then 3 hours later ended up spending $$$$ at market optical for a wonderful experience & Realized that apparently we are now just a number to warby Parker and no longer family of customers they need. read more

5 stars for whoever was working 03/25/2021 in the evening around 530pm. A young karen came in to see if her order had been delivered to the store. The employees asked if she had received the confirmation email and she says something along the lines of, "well no, but I got an email saying that it's out for delivery today until 8, but you guys close at 7". The employees were patient and polite and checked if her order was there and it wasn't. They were calmly trying to explain that their mail was delivered at 3pm and her order wasn't a part of that delivery. They continue to explain that she will receive an email saying that her order was delivered, but she's just still not getting it. Idk what she expected them to do as if they control the mail. They humored her and looked up all the info on their part. It was as if she had never used any mail delivery service before. Some people got no chill. read more

I came to this shop to have them slightly adjusted for my crooked head and now they're perfect. I have been a longtime fan of Warby Parker. I have purchased many pairs over the past years, both from their physical stores in NYC & online. I happily purchased a voucher, knowing I would be able to use it easily. After picking out sunglasses with the help of staff in Seattle, we finally found the perfect pair-- only to discover in the middle of the ordering process that they couldn't be made prescription. At that point, the sales staff had helped me decide the other styles were not a great fit, so I didn't want anything. My husband went to use the voucher later, only to have the same thing happen to him! It's nice that fashion frames are available, but they should be clearly marked if they are not available with prescription lenses. Such a weird experience. I won't be back. read more

I didn't realize they opened one on the hill, this location is way more convenient for me than Fremont or U Village! I went around 5:30pm on a Thursday and it was empty. I didn't end up liking anything, but the staff was very friendly and helpful trying to find me a good fit for a low bridge. Found that nothing ever shipped and that now they would ship out this coming Monday.... making it close to a month. 3 hours total on the phone and no one reaching out to help. I'm not happy with the quality of the glasses I purchased. I haven't had them for long. First thing I noticed was chipping on the lens where the frame holds the lens. Other people have pointed this out to me but I'm not one to complain so didn't do anything about it yet. So then during this pandemic I lost a screw. No big deal except the store is closed. I understand. I was able to find someone to replace the screw for me. Yes I can't see the small screw without my glasses. But that's not my complaint. Like I said I understand the necessity for the closures. Now still pretty new glasses the frame has broken and the store has opened up I hear anyway. So I call to see how to go about having them fixed and I have been calling for hours and can't get an answer. I'm done with this crappie company. Costco has by far hands down the better service.
