It was November (with December rapidly approaching), and time was of the essence. I researched the top agents in the Covina area. Narrowed it down to the top 3 and interviewed the top two over the course of two days. We chose Brenda based on her professionalism, warm demeanor, and market knowledge. We hired Brenda on a Monday, she had the photographer at my mom's house on Tuesday, listed her house on Wednesday, and we received our first offer on Friday. We allowed realtors/potential buyers to view her house over the weekend and accepted an offer on Monday. The craziest part about it was that Brenda's daughter was getting married that same Saturday we allowed agents/buyers in. She didn't skip a beat. It was miraculous! This was the first time I've ever sold a home, so I was very nervous. Though she had her own distractions in life, she didn't break stride. Brenda held my hand throughout the entire process and ensured my mom was taken care of as well (giving us referrals for movers, cleaners, etc.). If you're like me, over-researching realtors, STOP.
