They had the exact white wooden garden chairs that I wanted, in addition to glassware and linens. Drop off was day before the event as they had promised, pick up the following Monday. I found Ward when at a wedding expo in Pinehurst back in January. I met with Candy who right from the beginning was just so genuine, kind, and knowledgeable. She immediately took the time to introduce herself and explained what the company did. She scheduled an appointment and we came back to meet her to discuss further details. She was very accommodating to our needs since we live in the Charlotte area. After meeting with her, we knew Ward was exactly what we were looking for. She helped direct us in the right direction for every aspect of our wedding planning. From table rentals, dish-ware, DJ, photo booths, and even rental games, Ward offers all of it and Candy helped get it all set up for us. They have great package deals to chose from and they were affordable for all it included. We chose to use a wedding coordinator through Ward and that also was such a great idea! I highly recommend having one for your big day!! Candy continued to show amazing communication from January even up to our big day in October. If that doesn't speak volumes about Ward and who they hire to represent them then I don't know what does. She was truly so wonderful to work with and I really am so thankful to have met her at the expo! I really appreciated the accountability Ward showed us when we had some things placed on our account that we ended up not using. They were quick to refund it back and apologized with an updated invoice to our emails promptly. That is very professional and shows they have integrity and do not take advantage of customers. As cliche as it sounds to say: "I'm not really sure where to even begin" it has never been more true when I try to explain how grateful I am for Ward Productions, and especially Candy Young of the Ward team, throughout my wedding planning process and wedding day. This team went absolutely above and beyond to help make our day special. I mean truly above and beyond what we ever expected. Starting with Joeli, she was so incredibly helpful in helping us to plan our rentals and figure out exactly what we wanted and what fit our budget. Joeli was SUPER responsive all the way through our entire planning process and pays very close attention to detail - she responded to emails right away, calls, and even had such a quick turn around on our endless quote revisions as we tweaked and tailored what we wanted (shout out to Joeli for having SO much patience with us LOL). Then Candy, our "day-of" coordinator, and yes, I put day-of in quotations because although she was supposed to be just our day of coordinator, she was more like my 2-month-of personal assistant. Guardian angel may even be more appropriate LOL just kidding... but maybe not really kidding.... Because of the pandemic, our wedding was rescheduled multiple times, we went through so many ups and downs with finding a new venue, moving vendors, emotions of cutting down our guest list by eliminating over 150 people, wondering if we'd even be able to have a wedding even remotely close to what would even feel special or like a wedding (forget the wedding of our dreams, just something that even felt like a wedding!), and Candy was by our side every single step of the way, determined to make this work. Even when we were feeling miserable and ready to throw in the towel and just accept we weren't going to be able to have a wedding celebration, Candy kept us positive, and didn't let us give up. Cutting to the chase, the wedding went on, it was amazing, beautiful, perfect, fantastic, special, etc.etc.etc. and most of all..... IT WAS THE WEDDING OF OUR DREAMS!!! Can you believe it?! We still can't!! And we owe so much of it to Candy who jumped in and made sure I had thought of every little detail, took on responsibilities way out of what was ever expected or required of her, and genuinely gave us a sense of comfort and confidence in knowing that everything was going to be okay because her hands were on it. I can't say enough about Candy (clearly) I wish I had her from the start as a full blown wedding planner and my life would have probably been SO much easier! Haha! Candy has such a genuine sincerity about making sure this day is nothing short of perfect for her clients. I would recommend Candy to anyone and everyone. If Candy is supporting your wedding, you can rest assured you are in the best of hands and well taken care of. Then Jonathan, our "DJ". And yes, I even put DJ in quotations too because he was more than that as well! Jonathan jumped in when the you-know-what was hitting the fan when we needed to find another venue (around 4 weeks out I think?) and joined Candy and I to even tour a venue and advise on how to make it work. Then to his actual role as the DJ/MC... he was AWESOME!! Truly so so so good! His timing, his announcing, the way he reads the crowd and the vibe for the next song selection, etc. is just so spot on. Ward did an incredible job providing all our rentals for our wedding this past September. As I did not have a planner, there were multiple changes to be made back and forth but it was such a pleasure to work with the team at Ward. I highly recommend working with Joeli for her excellent communication and organizational skills. As I was planning my wedding from out-of-town, most of our communications occurred via email or phone, which presents some difficulty in making sure your point gets across. However, all the miniscule changes and ideas I had recommended were easily made (with Joeli double-checking, and even correcting, mistakes made in the order form!). Most importantly, I had wanted market lights strung across the lawn and had received insane quotes from other rental companies. Ward was able to provide a lighting package that helped us stay within budget but also looked incredibly lovely and exactly what I had pictured.
