They do this to extract $ from you so you won't be "surprised" when they charge you money for asking a question at the annual yearly exam. So I wait 6 more months,the doctor remembers nothing about me and has an attitude of "why are you even here" because I'm healthy looking etc. It was such a waste of time. My doctor also seems miserable and overworked. Isn't helpful when I reach out for medical clearance via the portal either. My video call was in 2025 so that charge didn't even go towards this year. I wish they had clearly informed me more about the process of establishing care because I would've conducted myself differently if I understood. Now I don't even want to come back here I feel completely unwelcome and disregarded. I'm a cancer survivor that does need to do various follow ups but "my" doctor could care less about me. Sad

He takes time with me every time I'm there. Recently, Last year, I was diagnosed with cancer, through my OBGYN. Rocked, I dropped in to see him with no appointment. Not only did he take time with me, he reviewed information about the surgeon suggested. At times, his "bedside manner" can be a little gruff at times, but he's a New Yorker. His assistant knows her stuff. And what she doesn't know, she'll find out for you, as will he, or send you to whoever it is you need to see. Dr. Messina was there for me. I don't know what I'll do when he retires.

Dr Lee is top notch physician! My husband sees him every year for physical and he has full of…read moreknowledge , really good bedside manners and really good assessment skills! On the other hand, the nurses aide that's in his office was not nice at all! Very rude! No bedside manners whatsoever! She did not introduce herself to him, did not make any eye contact or any type of connection to him, or even communicate and explain what she's going to do to him. She was doing ekg, and she looked stressed telling my husband blaming him for his hair and rudely asked him to stop talking! My husband gets very nervous every time he goes to a doctors office just because of a visit ... but this nurses aide did not help the whole situation! It wasn't like this at all either the other nurses last year but this one that was w him today was very rude and has a very condescending tone. My husband was very bothered by it. I told him to write an evaluation about it and he didn't want to because he said he does not want to put this nurse in trouble and he said he likes Dr Lee a lot and that's what matters to him. I'm happy with the care and service provided, and also appreciate the network of specialists that they have referred me to, often in the same building. Since first becoming a patient, I've had two or three high deductible PPO insurance plans, all that have worked fine. They charge a $15 lab fee for shipping specimens to outside labs, which was explained up front and is reasonable. I also appreciate that they manage their office overhead by automatically charging my HSA credit card for under $100 balance due amounts, after first collecting from the insurance company and applying the insurance company's negotiated rates. This keeps their cost down and simplifies bill payment on my end. Some other reviewers take issue with this, but it's never bothered me. Overall great office for periodic medical care.
