So you're on a cycle ride from Bristol to Bath, and you're feeling a bit peckish - well look no further, than this little gem.
It was originally a train waiting room, and has been converted into a coffee shop. Sitting literally on the cycle track, selling tea, coffee, hot chocolate, paninis, ploughman's, and cake. Reasonably priced too. And a lovely outdoor area, complete with a Tardis - which is actually a bathroom, but extremely realistic with warning signs, and even the light on the top.
The garden was delightful, plenty of tables, and even an outhouse for when it's a bit chillier.
We ordered inside the waiting room, and were told that they were busy so it would be a 20 minutes. I opted for a Brie and Cranberry panini, which came with salad and crisps, all for the great price of £4.50. I noticed they also did gluten free options, which is great to know if you have any friends that need to avoid wheat.
The food was delicious, and everything came out on old mismatched crockery which I really like. I would definitely recommend this place, and if like us you're a bit rusty on a bike, you can easily cheat and park nearby. Perfect for all ages, and a sunny day. read more
