Tiffany was extremely cold over the phone. She was very distracted and was not attentive to the phone call. Gave specific information of what needed to be done to two properties. Received an email from her what would be included in the service. It was clear she didn't listen to anything I had said and the email was nothing to what was asked to do on the properties. I never leave reviews. I was super excited to use them for our rental properties but if she couldn't get a phone call right, how are they going to do the job right? read more

They do not warn anyone nearby about spraying herbicide. They came and sprayed the house next door with 2,4-D broadleaf killer and did not give us any warning whatsoever. A post-it note yesterday would have sufficed. Our garden is 15 feet away. 2-4D, like many herbicides, can drift for miles and will cause deformities in tomatoes and garden vegetables and then cannot be eaten. To give us zero opportunity to cover the garden is unprofessional. Someone could have came and knocked on the door. What a disappointment, to put all this work, time, and money in to have it ruined in 15 minutes because a 30 second conversation couldn't be bothered to be had. read more

Annual lawn maintenance program. I have neglected our lawn for several years and decided to try an annual treatment. I believe it will take a couple of years for the lawn to recover but this year's applications has gotten rid of a lot of weeds and I have been watering more. Hopefully this next application will pre kill the dandelions and thistle and fertilize the grass read more

Warne and sprayed on a windy day, and killed our pumpkins. They also didn't bother telling us they were here, nor did they pick up the yard, so hoses and kid toys were sprayed with who knows what chemicals. read more

I have used them three times in the spring, twice in the fall. The sent someone out the first time to look at the property and give me a price. Main purpose was to kill weeds but also to fertilize the lawns. They always call ahead of time so I have time to get my dogs inside before they start spraying. This year they were way behind schedule due to two late spring snow storms and a lot of rain. As a result, I had a lot of dandelions to deal with but once they sprayed that problem was solved. They are very good at closing gates so the dogs do not get away, not walking on the garden and watching where their hose goes so it does not do damage as they drag it behind them. Very knowledgeable about the products they offer and explained their lawn service program step by step! Booked a service with them a month ago. Called them last week and was told they had some weather delays. Didn't help that the person on the phone spoke with a condescending tone. Anyway she said they would probably be out Tuesday. That was yesterday. I was leaving for a dog walk when I saw their truck zipping PAST my street. This morning I called again to check on what was going on. Same person on the phone told me it was probably a truck with different chemicals than what I had ordered (again - condescendingly). I told her I was canceling. She then started saying how they don't even start the program I ordered until mid May. Curious why that would mean anything when I ordered the service earlier than that.... Frustrating to wait so long for something and be talked down to when you call in with questions. read more

It seems that if you ask them to come spray your yard, they assume you have an ongoing contract and they can come again and bill you. Not the way we do business! I didn't find a difference after they came the first time. And, if you go in to complaint, their customer service is to argue with you and tell you why YOU are wrong. Umm, no thanks! I have no idea if this company does a good job or not because they never follow through. They either don't call me back or call back once and then never get back to me. Unscrupulous! I ordered 200 feet of hose installed on a pump. They charged me for 300 ft of hose, installing a power cable on a truck that wasn't on the property, removing the pins that held the pump in place (I did that myself) and $160 to unload the pump before informing me that there would be a fee. Had I known it cost $160 to start a forklift and drive it 10 ft I would have brought someone to help me unload the pump. They remind me of a crooked service station in the middle of the desert that puts you over a barrel because they think you have no options. Terrible. Need to be reported to the bbb for fraud. These hacks are telling people whose lawns that have ascochyta leaf blight, the proper treatment is a fungicide. Unfortunately, most people don't realize that ascochyta goes away on its own, in almost every situation. These "local" lawn care specialists, are even worse than the corporate freaks who own trugreen. At least with trugreen, they're honest about being a corporate conglomerate. Warne however, is still selling the idea that they're "locally-owned, locally operated". So, lying about expensive treatment for a fungus that will disappear on its own, lying about being a franchise operation, lying about being a locally-owned company. Why on earth would anyone want to do business with this company. I don't understand at all. read more

Poor pest control services. Had my house treated for spiders and have more spiders since they came a week or so ago. Called them to inquire about it and was told no problem they can take care of it but it would be another $180 charge. read more

I'm only giving 3 stars because I have not yet purchased anything from Warne Chemical. The 3 stars represents my interactions with the sales staff and their bids, I've been looking into getting a new spray set up for my county and Warne has not been the easiest to work with. I try to use local business for a lot of things but this is one you should stay away from. I called and gave my credit card to their billing department to pay for my initial lawn spraying. I get a bill in the mail stating I owed them money. When I called the billing department they have no record of me calling or giving them my cc information. I checked with my cc card company and was charged for the payment but billing denies it. I had to report the payment as fraud because they are too inept to keep a valid record. I will never use their service again. P.S. the spray was for weed AND seed-the weeds are gone but now I have large brown patches in my yard where the grass should have been. read more
