We frequented the place when we first move in the area but had a series of bad experiences so we ditched it The burgers tasted great & juicy the first time we had it; then after a couple of months went back - not so good - they changed the meat ! went back again and yep it was not good They don't keep the place clean. They make their system so complicated that it is a big turn off. The food is not to die for anyway If you are a smart business person forget about bookings for breakfast. This is one of those awkward moments where the food has been let down by the venue. If I was a local swinging by regularly and the food was consistently good, I would rate higher. I hate sounding like a snob but it just didn't have the right feel for me. It felt, for a lack of better words... rough and dirty. The 1 female toilet which also doubled as disabled and parents room is not enough to cater to the number of customers coming through. The layout feels disjointed. Tables out the front, back and forming a circle pattern inside with the service counter and kitchen in the middle. I've heard it can get very busy and that was evident today. If you don't phone ahead you may not get a table. Staff didn't appear to check bookings and after establishing the green notices were reserved (with your name and booking time displayed), I did a walk through and found our table. Pay attention to your table number as you need to order at the counter and the line doesn't need to be held up by people forgetting theirs. They have the tables mapped so it is also essential for finding where you are. Now to the food. I was in platter heaven! The 2 person big breakfast share platter looked amazing. Eggs, beans, toast, hash browns, bacon... There is also a pancake and Mexican platter. My double bacon and egg roll was cheap enough at $8.50 that I felt ok adding 2 hash browns ($1.50 each) and avocado. $3 for what I'd guess was 1/4 of an avo is a rip off though! My mum and step dads meals (big breakfast and eggs benedict) looked superb. I don't drink coffee but they weren't impressed with theirs. Our 3 meals and 3 drinks came in just over $60 which is very reasonable. Freak shakes were a popular choice. Colourful, edgy and so indulgent. read more

Amazing Staff , accommodated us without a booking in their busiest day . We are not locals, and found the cafe via yelp, and so glad we did. Love the atmosphere and decor. The smashed avo was delicious , coffee was great. Didn't try the shakes because we were full ! Will definately be back again! read more

My son loves trains and I heard they do great milkshakes so a train trip here for brunch and milkshake as a family outing was decided. The train station is right next to this cafe so it was super easy to catch the train with a young kid (i.e. not too much walking). The food was delicious and the milkshakes lived up to their name. On the bonus side there is a park for the kids right out the back so you can order and eat your food while you watch them play. Cool setting inside and out too. Looked like lots of seats too but we went on a Friday and I heard it's gets packed on a weekend to the point you need a reservation so maybe call ahead to avoid disappointment. read more

I've been going to Warnies for years. Since the renovations/revamps in 2016 the atmosphere is quite a bit better. But what Warnies is lacking is quality customer service and a good kitchen manager. One of my more recent visits it took over half an hour for a toasted sandwich, and it wasn't at all busy. Huge wait times have always been an issue. Love the Wanies crazy shakes however every time I have been it's dirty. Due 2 the kids section out the there r kids running around. More 4 families then meetings or brunch with the girls. read more

The food is fantastic here and the crazy shakes are amazing and it has a lovely playground out back for the kids but what brings it down is that it's always so packed on weekends so it takes ages to get your food and the customer service isn't great, id love to return but I might try during school hours next time to see if the service improves with the decreased amount of customers read more

Great food choices and superb shakes. Book in prior or youll be waiting up to 1.5 hours... yep hours for a table... staff are friendly but too busy to help but try. Toilets dirty as tables were also the three times ive been its been too busy...not enough toilets for the capacity of tables and people.. youre fighting off flies while trying to eat... will not be back sorry its not worth it read more
