I've had a variety of issues with Warr dental. The length of time to just get a cleaning. 1 hr 27min. Asking dr warr to make sure my crown was on the whiter side, only to have him say it was a perfect match, and my family all asked why it was darker than the teeth on each side. Going in to have a filling, I was introduced to a new dentist in their office without even letting me know or asking if I was ok with someone other than dr warr. The number of texts and email reminders is pretty rude when I have asked them to not send reminders. Dr. Warr and his staff go above and beyond for their patients. I initially booked an appointment with Dr. Warr for a TMJ consultation as his practice came highly recommended when I was looking for a dentist on Google. His staff were always in contact with me. They were able to communicate with me via text which is super convenient since I work full time, and they helped me fill out my paperwork online. I've had one consultation and one retainer fitting and I'm already super impressed with Dr. Warr and his staff's work ethic. They were super gentle and thoroughly explained everything that they were doing. Dr. Warr created a treatment plan for me and explained what my results should look like and the next steps to take if they weren't successful. I was so impressed with him and his team that I schedule a teeth cleaning because I want to go to them for all of my dentistry needs. I really can't recommend Dr. Warr enough! read more

By far the best dentist I've been to! Dr. Warr takes great care of my teeth and doesn't try to push me into unnecessary dental procedures. I used to go to dentists who would find something wrong every time I went to them. In fact, I went to a dentist 6 months prior to seeing Dr. Warr and they told me I had two cavities. Dr. Warr looked at what they were talking about and it was an indication of a pre-cavity. He taught me how to prevent them from turning into cavities and the teeth never had cavities. Dr. Warr performed great dental work on our son but the office staff severely misquoted us on the cost of the dental services. They provided us with a written estimate and then weeks later after the services were performed they sent us a bill for over $ 600.00. I feel this a disservice to us, insurance coverage can easily be confirmed and detailed in advance of services being done. Our previous dentist always provided accurate estimates. We now have a huge bill to pay down, had we known this in advance we would have separated the services to be done over time. Buyer/patient beware! read more

Chelsea is a meticulous and knowledgeable hygeinist, and personable, friendly, and professional. I had put-off going to the dentist for the first 2 years after I moved here because I didn't think I would find a dentist that was as good as my last one. Dr. Keith Warr is very nice and professional, and all of his staff are exceptional. The office has TVs on the ceiling and you can watch and listen to headphones even while you get your teeth cleaned. They give you lip balm during your cleaning so your lips don't get dry. They are very thorough and offer whitening, fluoride treatments, etc. in addition too all of the routine recommendations. Warr Dental rocks! I live in Denver but was traveling to Salt Lake for a conference. I started having tooth pain and, not wanting to wait several days until I got home, decided to find a local dentist on Yelp. Warr had rave reviews and was close to my hotel (Grand America) so I decided to call them first thing in the morning. When I called, they said they were fully booked but said if I was able to arrive in the next 30 minutes, they would fit me in. When I arrived, they were very courteous and understanding of my emergency and didn't make me wait a minute. I was immediately greeted by Dr. Warr's Dental Hygienist who made me comfortable, asked a series of questions and took an x-ray of my tooth. Just minutes later, Dr. Warr greeted me, and was very kind and understanding of my situation. He reviewed the x-ray, did a quick tooth sensitivity test and diagnosed that I had a dead tooth and needed a root canal (whelp!). He then wrote me two prescriptions for pain medicine and antibiotics and I was on my way - all of this in under 30 minutes! If I lived in Salt Lake, I would definitely make Warr Dental my Dental provider! They are professional, thoughtful and their office is comfortable with the latest technology. I'm from California and looked everywhere for a cosmetic dentist who truly specialized in veneers. After having several consultations with dentists in California, decided to check other states. I came across Warr Dental in Salt Lake City. I was impressed by his vast knowledge in cosmetic dental procedures and his work with reconstructing smiles and veneers. From my first initial telephone consultation I had with Dr. Warr, I knew I was in good hands. The staff is exceptional, very accommodating and super kind. Though veneers itself is very costly, Ida the office manager, went out of her way to help with pricing for my procedure. I couldn't be happier with my results and now have an awesome smile. I used to hate going to the dentist and anticipated each appointment with a deep sense of anxiety. Well, while still not my favorite way of spending my free time, the folks at Warr Dental make each visit as pleasant as an appointment to the Dentist could be. Everyone here is sincerely nice and they make it a point to get to know you to help personalize your experience. I really appreciate the text message appointment reminders I get a week and then a day prior because I have a habit of conveniently forgetting things like this. Total ripoffs, been to sales oriented dental offices before and this is one of them. here they suggested an expensive procedure that I already knew wasn't an option, this was very dishonest of the dentist, I declined, Then they pushed for doing additional work that I didn't ask for which I declined again. At the end they charged me way more than the high price they gave me Initially without any explanation. I called other offices to compare and I wasn't happy with what I learned. my suggestion is to find an honest dental office. read more

Going to the dentist can be very scary for kids (and adults) and I was so happy that both of my kids had a blast there! These guys are awesome! The office staff and assistants were friendly and professional and Dr. Warr was very sympathetic to my dental pain and seemed very trustworthy and experienced. I had a dental emergency and they were able to get me in the same day I called, and I was even a new patient. They also gave me an estimate of what all my dental work would cost, which I found really helpful. Several people from my office had referred me to him, and I am glad they did. About a month ago, I went for my first dental appointment since we moved here and had a great experience, friendly and professional staff. They were on time for my appointment and everything went as expected. I decided to get an appointment for my 4 & 5 year olds. I was a little nervous because I had taken them to one of the other local bigger name pediatric dentists - it was a bad experience for all involved, so Dr. Warr's group had their work cut out. Dr. Warr's office isn't set up like a pediatric dentistry location since it is a family practice, but they were absolutely wonderful with my kids. It's been a week, and the boys are still asking when we can go back because they had so much fun! Just goes to show that bedside manner is worth way more than a waiting room full of crazy colors and toys. Couldn't have been happier and highly recommend it! read more

By 2012, it had been years since I had been to a dentist and I knew I had some big problems. So, when I first went to Dr. Warr, I was pretty nervous. I ended up having lots of work done there (including a root canal, caps, fillings, a recommend to a peridontist, etc), and I was always treated with respect and made to be as comfortable as possible. After the initial year or so of getting caught up on dental work, I've continued to go there for checkups and I always feel like I get amazing care. Dr. Warr and his assistants always take the time to answer my questions and talk through the options. They care about how things look, but not to the point of upselling, which I really appreciate. My teeth feel great now and I actually look forward to my 6 month cleanings. With their help, my dental health has improved a ton. This is a huge 180 from when I was really anxious about dental visits and avoiding it for over a decade. These folks are outstanding. read more

Just switched dentists due to location change. The front desk is friendly and helpful. Chelsea is a wonderful hygienist, she is personable, thorough, and considerate of some sensitivity I had in my teeth. Dr. Warr was great and explained everything and would ask what he can do for me, which I appreciated. Warr Dental is amazing. All of the staff, from the front desk to the hygienists to Dr. Warr himself are personable, kind, upbeat, professional and knowledgeable. The office is comfortable and up to date. They walked me through everything that they were doing, took time to get to know me, and provided great information about what was going on with my teeth. I won't recommend Warr Dental to anyone if you have to see a dentist. They will charge you more money and try to get out money from you pocket, but they are not doing a good job. I spent almost $1,500 for putting only one crown for one of my tooth. However, after they put the crown on it, my nerve near by my ear hurts so much and I couldn't even open my month. every time I open my mouth , my ear and nerve hurts so much and feel very painful, which also affect my brain. So I felt dizzy sometimes and I almost pass out. They took me back to fix it twice, but my ear and nerve near by my ear still hurt . especially, when I eat or bit the food. I listened to their suggestion to relax for almost 2 months. but my ear and nerve by my ear still hurts when I eat or bit the food. I went back to talk to the manager my situation. but the doctor didn't listen to me but finding the excuse instead, which is totally different from what they told me before they asked me to let my teeth rest. Now, they will say that I need to see another dentist, which means I will have to spend extra money to see anther dentist for the second consultation to fix the problem they cause besides $1500 I already had spent for only one crown in Warr Dental. I felt that they took advantage me because I am a foreigner here. They are not trustworthy and not reliable. From my experience I have in Warr Dental, I will share my bad experience with all the friends I know or people I meet in salt Lake city , Watch Out! I would recommend to do more research before you see a dentist. Definitely not go for Warr dental. their work is not worthy for the money you pay at all because you will probably pay more than usual and pay extra money to fix the problem they cause. Meanwhile, you have to deal with your disappointment and frustration with their attitude and their work. Ps. I told them that the crown he put on me is a little talker than other tooth when I use my figure to touch it and I can sense it and tell the difference from another side of tooth. but the doctor did not believe and he keep telling me that the computer shows no difference. I told them that the computer is not always correct , and I asked him if they can use their figures to touch/exam my tooth to see if the crown they put on me is taller than others. but they didn't listen to my and they didn't even want to give it a try, just keep saying there is no any problem in their side. However, I just know that I had spent $1500 to put a crown which cause me a lot of pain in my jaw, ear, and nerves by the ears when I eat the food, bite the food, and chew the food. Dr. Warr took over his father's business and clientele. He came highly recommended, and has all the updated equipment and treatments available that one would want. But as a dentist, my wife and I never felt confident in him. We both had crowns done by him, both of which changed our overall bite. When we went back to get it fixed, he never could fix the problem. In my case, where my bite was off, he ended up filing down the enamel on the tooth which connected with the crown, instead of fixing the crown. My wife's bite has never been the same. The retainer she got from Dr Warr which she wore at night hurt her teeth so badly that she returned back and had him make a new one, but still had the same problem. It still feels tight in certain areas and we've given up on trying to get him to fix it and have gone to another dentist. As far as general cleaning and preventative care, he's great, but actual major work done, I strongly recommend going elsewhere. read more

I originally went to Warr Dental 3 years ago because they were doing an in-office Zoom whitening special. After my experience, I switched and made Dr. Warr my dentist. The staff was incredibly friendly, I felt welcomed and I could tell his employees genuinely enjoyed their job. My last few cleanings have been done by Heather and she's the best! She is so friendly and makes sure all my questions are answered before I go home. I also like that the office lets you schedule your cleanings with a hygienist of your choice. I recently got a brux night guard due to some jaw pain I've had from previous orthodontic care. His TMJ specialists are top notch and so far the night guard has decreased my jaw pain. I've also referred a friend who had a chronic TMJ issue. He helped her work through it, had her go to Vegas with him for a seminar with fellow dentists, crowned all her teeth and she seems to be improving. I moved to Ogden recently, but I'll still drive to SLC for all my dental needs! read more
