Yeah, there is really only a shelter, and a time table and that is about it, and the trains go reasonably regularly, for the regional services that is. Still, at least there is a station here, and at least trains stop here as well, which means that I can get off and have a walk around, which is basically what I did. Nothing spectacular, but it works.

However, since it is heritage listed, it isn't going to be knocked down here, which is pretty cool because it is actually quite a charming railway station. It does look like it is in a bit of disrepair though, which is quite a shame, however, I suspect that it may be put to use for something else in the not to distant future.

Well, it does have two platforms, which no doubt helps with trains passing each other, if they ever meet here, but other than that, there really isn't all that much to say about this place. Right on beach front, had a BBQ to use, washing machine with either dryer or clothes line. 10 minute drive into Lang Lang which had a hotel, takeaway, IGA and a pizza shop.

That said, Morwell Motel is a lovely place. The room was really nicely decked out and was equipped with a majorly comfortable double bed. They also offer breakfast delivered to your room with basic cereal and toast options (you have a toaster to make toast yourself). You also have your own Nespresso machine to make pod coffee. The room also has flat screen tv and nice art work on the wall and is equipped with air con. It's a really comfortable place to stay and seeing what else the area has to offer its one of the best places to stay. What makes it as well, is the staff are so friendly and chatty. They have the cutest chocolate labs that come into reception to say hello, that the owners let come out to the foyer for you to pet if you want them to. Definitely worth booking in for a well deserved comfortable nights stay.

The cottages are self cater but come fully equipped with cooking gear. The owners were extremely attentive and helpful but also gave us our privacy. The local area has quite a few nice restaurants like Big Spoon, Little Spoon in Warragul, Jindivick Harvest Kitchen and plenty of walks and small towns to explore. Would definitely stay there again.
