If is now December 31, 2023 and only received a pathetic, accusatory response from someone (just before holiday) after a BBB complaint was filed. Not worth my time to even respond because if they're not issuing my requested refund, then they have nothing worthwhile to listen to. I made HUGE MISTAKE paying in full, thinking they'd actually do the right thing. Furthermore and equally unethical, I discovered they falsely put a positive review from me on their website. I was completely shocked and outraged that they would COMPLETELY MAKE UP A REVIEW, especially since I am so unhappy with this company. I guess if they have to make up good reviews, they're clearly do bad work. A company that does satisfactory work gets real reviews - why not ask your customers to complete surveys or reviews. Unfortunately, I looked at these reviews when hiring and BBB is now useless.

He came out to give me an estimate the same day I called. His estimate was very reasonable. He was the only contractor to show me his insurance paperwork without being requested to do so. Also, unlike some companies, he didn't refuse the job because it was 'too small.' He and his team did the work on the scheduled date. They did a wonderful job of cleaning up. Be cautious with Tom Taber's Whole Tree Care by Trapper's Tree Service. I recommended their…read moreservices to two of my neighbors, but afterwards discovered problems with their last job for me (e.g., the stump grind in 2016). Gale (I assume their sub-contractor) was to contact me BEFORE coming out to do the tree stump grind so I could give my neighbor a heads-up to remove their fence panel for complete stump access. Not only did Gale (or anyone from Trapper's for that matter contact me in advance) but the job was done when I was out of town. Since I was not home (or notified) I did not have time to request that my neighbor have his fence panel removed which he agreed to do if I gave him the heads up. The fence panel needed to be removed so that the grinder could access the complete stump via my neighbor's property. Also, this company left me with a huge pile of mulched wood to clean up which I would have been more than happy to pay to be removed. Once I removed the large pile of mulched wood from the stump area, to my disappointment I found that the stump grind had not been completed. I followed up with this company with no return phone calls or emails. I can not recommend this company.
