From the beginning, Jacquelyn listened and worked with us to find the right paint color (which involved identifying the color, slugging tons of paint cans to our house, and testing them out after painting our house). Then, she worked with us to identify, every step of the way, how to paint the house. Her attention to detail, work ethic, and ability to support her crew and make sure they were on task and safe while checking in with us was extraordinary! It was such a joy to work with Jacquelyn Every day, Jacquelyn arrived early and stayed late to oversee our house project and to make sure that every little detail was handled. She also generously took the lead on extras like painting the step of our 3-season porch, screwing in our gutters, and power washing our sidewalks -- which made a phenomenal difference. She came out the next day and from the "get go" we had a gut feeling that she would do a good job and we were not disappointed!! She started the job in two days and estimated that it would take two days and she was finished on time as promised. She is a perfectionist with her painting and it showed in the finished result. She even touched up numerous areas from a previous wall painter. She said that it would have driven her crazy to not do this for us and luckily we had some extra paint from that job. I contacted Larry through Yelp, and he was very responsive. He came out a few hours later to give.me.an estimate. The price was fair and he seemed reliable, so I hired him to do the work in 3 or 4 days. Due to weather and scheduling other projects, he actually came out just 2 days later. It was fantastic to drive up to my house and see a brand-new gate. Larry and his assistant were finishing up with the post. They had to remove a patch of concrete, then pour new concrete. The new post is very sturdy. Both of them were polite and friendly. Larry said he prefers cash or cashier's checks for payment. Based on this job, I highly recommend Heartland.
