I wanted to leave a review for everyone like me who has read through all the reviews to try and figure out how to get laundry done in Brussels, especially when you only speak English and worry about translation issues. First, the wall instructions and the machines have English options. We found it very easy to figure out. Second, and this was perfect for us, the machine takes cards!! We were stressed by previous reviews saying Euros and tokens only, but the main pay machine takes cards and it's very easy to just follow the instructions, add the machines you are using, pay with card, and they run perfectly! Good laundromat! Came from America on a month long trip and needed to do laundry. This is a great spot! A bit pricey though. Very clean and lots of machines available. There are 8 washers, 2 large washers (18kg), and 8 dryers. Since it was a bit confusing, here's everything you need to know in English... 1. If you don't have detergent, have no fear! They have a vending machine for detergent. There are 3 brands, 1.20, 2.30, or 2.30 in euros. The machine only takes coins. It does give change. I put in a 2 euro and 50 cent coin. It gave proper change. 2. To use the washing machines, you must buy a token from them. There is a machine for tokens. It only takes bills: 5, 10, or 20. If you put in a 5, it will give one token and 50 cents change. If you put in a 10, it will give 2 tokens and 1 euro change. If you put in a 20, it will give 4 tokens and 2 euros change. I don't think you can put in a 20 then get one token. It'll automatically give you 4. The washing machines need one token for one load of laundry. It's your standard size laundry machine and load. Soo if you want to do one load of laundry, put a 5 in and get one token. You need to click the corresponding button for the token. Then, you need to click the corresponding button for your change. If you want to use the super large machine (18kg), it needs 2 coins. 3. For washing machine settings, there is a sign listing what to do. First, put your clothes in. Second, choose your setting. For a regular color wash, I used setting 4. The button to change the setting is a little hidden. Under the P, there are 2 buttons to change the setting up and down. Then, you load the detergent. There is a small handle/bucket on top of the washing machine. You can pour detergent in the corresponding bin (probably B). If you use setting 4, put the detergent in B. If you have liquid softener, that goes in bin C. Then, you put the token in. The machine will start. For setting 4, it took 38 mins. 4. To use the dryers, they only take euro coins. Either 50 cents or 1 euro coin. Each euro is 6 minutes. 5. The token machine can also give change. I'm not sure how much change it would give if you put in large bills. I only put in a 2 euro coin and got 2 1 euro coins back. read more

To be honest with you, I never expected to see a laundromat with the 'people love us on Yelp' stickers on the front window, but sure enough, this one had them. Okay, the owner is actually a but gruff, and can be somewhat unhelpful, especially since I had a lot of trouble closing a door on a dryer, and it ended up eating up my money, so I had to use the one below, but surprisingly, as soon as he rocked up it worked. I still didn't get my money back, but I solved that problem by dumping my clothes into it after the other dryer had finished so I didn't end up wasting my money. The other annoying this is that the washing machine use tokens, but the dryers use coins, which is a little annoying. Still, since there are some pretty good pubs in the area this place is a pretty decent place to go and wash your linen because you can go and have a beer while you wait. read more

Very clean, easy to use. Washers take tokens and dryers take euro's. You can get soap and change there but helpful to have smaller change because the dryers only take 50 and 20 cent coins. 50 cent will give you 8 minutes and 20 cents, 3 minutes. Took about 30 minutes to dry clothes. Only negative was half way through drying I checked the clothes and they smelled of cigarette smoke. It was actually the dryers that all smelled. Luckily the smell disappeared the more they dried but as a non-smoker it would of been great to have a dryer sheet to throw in. read more

So the machine took my €20 bill. I called the number. They told me to meet them here in 2 hours. It is now 2.5hrs passed and no one around. And I keep calling as well as texting and no response. Funny enough - the number goes to an iPhone where I can see the message being delivered... Surely the owner can't be Flemish - so I am guessing French Belgian. Update: They just showed up and corrected the disaster. Of course I was right - they were French. And how can you get angry on someone speaking English to you with a French accent? Sigh... Excellent location and clean. Directions are not in English unfortunately and the symbols were a bit tricky but the peoplewashing there were so helpful. You need 3.80 euro to wash and you have to trade the money for a token. Then you use 50 cent euro or 20 cent euro to do the dryers. 50 cent euro gets you 8 minutes...not quite sure what 20 cent euro gets you. It was fabulous to be able to do a wash half way thru a 16 day trip. Highly recommend it! read more

Great Laundry option about 2 blocks from Grand Place. Well lit with very clear instructions in Dutch and French. Much cheaper than hotel laundry. Gorging on Belgian Waffles and Frites (fries) while reading a book and doing laundry in one of the world's most iconic cities, what's not to like? Glad this place is here! read more

Everything was great except the person working. There was a bald man who was getting ready to close and was obviously annoyed and did not hide it. When I was about to put my clothes in the dryer he told me no more than 10 minuets because they were closing. When I was trying to figure out what coins to put where he walked over to me and said "C'mon it's not that difficult, one euro or 50 cents" At this point I'm annoyed considering a laundromat in Paris let us dry out clothes till AFTER they were closed. While I am waiting for my clothes to finish drying with my boyfriend he rudely says "Do two people have to stand here it's already 10" when we are obviously waiting by the dryer to get out of there quicker. I would leave no stars but that's not an option. Truly the most miserable person I've met in Europe. read more

Easy to find, near hotels, clean. Went in the morning and by 10am it was busy, seems like hotels/restaurants use this facility as well. Would be ideal to have some form of english guide on how the machines work but thanks to some friendly locals ans sign language, it was quiet easy in the end. read more
