He clearly prides himself of providing excellent customer service and making sure all machines are well cared for. Love that they have a range of options from DIY, turnover service (moving your laundry to dryer so you can run errands), or full service where they wash, dry, and fold. I just want to let everyone know I moved to the Austin area, new to Tx this spring. I can't say enough about the Georgetown location. I found it when it was close to my spouses work and kept coming because I have not found another Laundromat better.It's always clean, machines are always working and Vincent who is almost always working is the most helpful, kindest worker. He goes above and beyond every single time! I have found some not so great places here and walked right back out but I travel out of my way to get to this location. read more

I love this place, staff is nice and the place is super clean. The washers and dryers are very easy to use and the place is affordable.

When we are in town this is our favorite laundry place. They have ALL NEW MACHINES! They may be pricier than they were, (not bad considering) but everything works great. I use the 6 load machines mostly. (I do miss the load indicator on the machines). And on the driers; look as you add your minutes-watch to add the 0.25 for wrinkle free. It made a big difference from our 1st visit after their update to the 2nd visit. At the first visit I felt like the medium ran too hot and things wrinkled. It was great on the 2nd visit. Also, I normally wash "hot" this time I did warm on the load and it still removed and appts I had treated in the 6 load machine. read more

Did they change employees? For some reason, the people that work here now have an attitude. They offer a wash, dry and fold service, and will occupy 75% of the dryers. I asked a female employee if I can use just 1 dryer cause all of the ones stopped spinning. Her response "they are drying. HUH?!" Unwilling to allow you to use a table when needing to fold. They are first and not going to give up any space on a folding table. Example on another occasion I asked a male employee if I can share a table that I had some laundry setting on, and he said no. That's twice with the employees attitudes. read more

Just a quick update. 3 visit and I'm watching the staff clean UNDER the tables and chairs etc. Mindbooglingly clean place. I also didn't mention the Wi-Fi. It works better than my Wi-Fi. This laundromat was so accessible especially for a large mattress cover that would not fit in our washer. It also had cleaned sheet ready ahead of time promised. Communicating by text was also a great idea. I am also impressed that this laundromat helps the community by accepting donations and providing monthly cleaning days for the clothes of the homeless. read more

Okay, before I write my review about this laundry mat, I want to respond to the reviewer "Rosie M.".. you know I read your review.. I'm just blown away.. so you are so busy in life to do your own laundry, so you paid someone else to do your laundry but had time to write a poor review? Yo lol, like I have no affiliation to this laundry mat whatsoever. This is my first visit. So what I see here is that you didn't confirm pricing let alone the cost for their service BEFORE YOU DROPPED OFF YOUR TWO BASKETS. So, to be frank, seems like you want to blame someone else for your lack of common sense and stupidity. Basically signing a document without even reading it. I mean for what you paid, it is not that bad especially since you claim to not have time to do laundry. So I wonder, how did you "wash" your clothes the next time? I mean you pay for convenience! Hope you got your washer and dryer! Check on offer up if you on a budget until you can buy a new set. This way you and your other half can do laundry even if it took a whole day to wash one load. Toss load in washer before work and dry it when you get off. If YELP could incorporate where others could reasons to other reviewers with a thumbs down or or up and even allowed commenting, I feel like maybe the review could be more fair on the business for time like when Ms. Rosie M. was being petty for her lack of common sense and complained about how she did not have time to do laundry. Laundry mat is great! I had to wash my king bedding. This is a laundry mat not a 5 star hotel people. But definitely among the top laundry mats I have yet to come across. In my opinion, 5 star laundry mat. I would come here again for the convenience to use their huge washer and dryer for my beddings! Staff were very friendly, carried a few conversations between the three that were on duty. The gentleman and young lady, though were folding table linens, were still able to assist my needs with the machines, especially the gas dryers. So the 8 loader on heavy soil, normal wash, and cold water took about an hour (machine initially showed 33 minutes, but even the home washer and dryer timers are off so nothing out of norm). Though the 8 loader may have been over kill for a king comforter, a twin down comforter, 4 king billow cases, and a king fitted sheet. At home with an XL front load washer and dryer set, the bedding would never be fully wet. Let alone take about 2 hours to dry per comforter. I was able to wash my loans in the 8 loader for about an hour. Placed each comfort or in its own fryer for 30 minutes on high, in 2 cycles of 15 minutes each with a minute cool down with door open. And used a thirds dryer for the bed linens and took only 15 minutes on high. I was in an out in theory, 1 hr 30 minutes. Very happy with MY EXPERIENCE today, as a first timer but I will definitely be back when I have to wash my beddings again! I found my self needing a laundromat several years ago when we were waiting on our new washing machine to be delivered. I was truly shocked at how spotlessly clean this facility was - every time I went there. And their customer service was on POINT every single time. For years now we've been using them for the laundry and fold service whenever we are super busy, and we take all of our heavy linens, blankets, comforters here. This saves wear and tear on our machine, and I just enjoy my interactions with the staff so much that it's a pleasure coming to this business. read more

Nice big laundromat with plenty of parking. Card only...No coin. You have to buy their card for $1. Plenty of machines from medium (3.75), large (4.90), Xtra large (18.00) & Huge (20.)... Driers are $1.00 for 15 min. A little pricey, but convenient, clean & attendant on site. Only a few machines were out of order. **Cards are not refunded and when adding money with cc it is in increments of $10** read more

I have been doing business at this laundromat at least once a week for the past 3 years. Unfortunately, I won't be able to come back until the pandemic is over or this location begins enforcing the mask mandate. On Sunday, 10/18, there were at least 5 people in the laundromat without a mask. There are signs on the door requiring masks but apparently not for everyone. I left before my clothes were completely dry just to get out before I got the virus all over me and my clothes. read more

It was ok here, the usual laundromat. They haven't kept up the cleaning I saw in the original reviews, but it's definitely still cleaner than most laundromats I've used. Out of the three loads of laundry I did, two came out clean. So about the usual results. Dryers were huge & quick. Prices were average. They have vending machines, free coffee, and tvs as well as a kids play area which was cool. Also close to fast food places so you could eat lunch while you wait. read more

The a/c was cold, the washers were clean & the dryers were hot. We were surprised to find #60 washers too. Using the credit card system is always a plus. Easy access & lots of parking spots. I really like Washatopia. It is clean and well taken care of. I took my comforter cover that had several bad stains and they cleaned it beautifully. I love being able to take larger items and they wash them with what ever detergent and anything extra I want them to use. Prices are very fair! People in their washing their own things too. read more

Other laundry facilities are just facilities. Washatopia is an INSTITUTION! They offer customers a safe and great environment to wash clothes, additionally the staff is super friendly and helpful. Also, and really important, this place is CLEAN! Bathrooms, sinks, washers and dryers all sanitized and maintained - high bar stuff folks.
