Her camp was three days a week for three weeks and commenced with a 'horse show' and family picnic at the end. The stables and pastures are very nice, and the staff appeared very knowledgable and care about what they do and the horses they tend to. Overall it is a nice facility and my daughter is eager to go back. While I can't speak to the boarding, the place looks top notch and has been in business for over 50 years.

He did an amazing job and made our wedding that much more special. He was very professional and is very talented at what he does. He is upbeat and keeps the crowd involved and entertained. He was flawless the entire night. No hiccups, everything went perfect and we couldn't be more thankful. He was not only our DJ, he also supplied the uplighting, cake pinspot, Photobooth (with helper the whole night), a video screen with projector, multiple microphones, etc. He was the total package and we appreciated coordinating with just one person. We had SO many complements about how well he did and how helpful he was. Everyone from the Mt. Woodson staff, to the videographer and photographer, to the guests; they were all so impressed with how professional he was. We had a harder crowd to please, as my family is from conservative northern california and my wife's family is heavily hispanic. he had both parties involved and dancing all night. he uses DJ intelligence, which we pick songs that help guide him on what to play. But the selection was really all on him. He played great stuff and we had a great time. i would choose him 1,000 times over (hopefully i only get married once though). I came here for the first time for a company volunteer event actually and was able to help their conservation team clear brush as part of their habitat rehabilitation efforts. The conservation team was incredibly knowledgeable and made the impact of our work clear, leaving us feeling accomplished at the end of our event. It costs a few dollars ($5 the last we went), but that fee goes to upkeep on the park, so it's a good cause you're paying toward. The only issue we ever ran into was when we hiked a bit and came out of the woods onto a road, and weren't sure which way to go to get back to the main entrance. Luckily, we guessed correctly and went the forest way, but a few signs may help others not make our mistake. If you are looking for a fun activity for the whole family (or just yourself!), give Neale Woods a try!

I have had the pleasure of volunteering with Habitat for Humanity in many different times in my…read morelife (high school, college, adulthood), and have seen first hand the good they do for the community. My most recent volunteer activity was with my company, so I had a group of folks I knew from my day-to-day life there with me, but you won't always have that. But that means you'll meet a few strangers to turn into new friends! There is a task for any level of expertise. If you're a newbie, you may just be holding a ladder for a bit. If you're a little green but have some experience you may be able to paint some things. If you're an expert and have experience in certain construction things, they may even have you helping to attach doors and put up drywall. These are just examples, but the point is that no matter your skill-set, don't let it keep you from volunteering. The main "construction" of cement pouring and foundation building is obviously done by actual professionals, so you can't do anything that will mess up the house too bad. I definitely recommend volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. While it may be hot (because most builds have been done during the summer in my experience), and some hard work, it can actually be a lot of fun!

A turnoff onto a non-descript gravel road leads you to the picturesque grounds of the American Legacy Complex. Horseback riding lessons are offered here and they have quite the facility. Both indoor and outdoor areas are here and several horses to learn to ride on. My son has taken a few lessons here and has enjoyed it. Safety comes first as my son was required to wear a helmet. Also, they learn to brush the horses towards the end of the lesson. The staff here is friendly and helpful. They also have horse events from time to time where they have rides, contests, etc. I haven't been to one yet with my son but plan to in the near future.
