The Swamp Thing is delicious.Sandwich layered with hashbrown, onions, roast beef, gravy and cheese. What's not to love?!

A great way to slip back in time! Beautiful antiques and great food at The Cafe. Have been here many times and enjoy it ever time. It's best to get a bite to eat and then walk around searching for the perfect antique ! We did not get dessert today, but do yourself a favor and taste any of the homemade desserts ...especially the coconut cake !!!!

Took home some seltzer bottles

Cute way to keep an old school building from getting demolished! Each room has interesting finds...staff is friendly, place is kept cool! Def left with some items to take home! Not too far off the highway

Heard about this place from a family member and the idea of it being an old high school had me interested. Not too hard to find. There's signs off the road that'll lead you there. The first thing I noticed before walking in was the smell. I love the smell of old houses and ......well.....now, schools. Original wood floors had me imagining how loud it must have been when the students where rushing from class to class. Every room is filled with interesting antiques. It's two stories so it you have trouble climbing stairs it may be difficult to climb these. Maybe there was an elevator somewhere. I didn't see it. There's more antiques in the gym. A cafe is attached if you get hungry or just want coffee. We didn't venture into the cafe but you kinda go right past it to get in the gym. If you like eerie, old things with history like me, the buzzing fluorescent lights in the locker rooms with get you excited. Soooo quiet in there except for the buzzing. I may have loved the school itself more than what was in it. Plan to have time to browse. Lots to see.

It's a dangerous place to go to if you have no self control and are a low key hoarder plus a antique shopper ;)

After visiting my daughter for the first time, a couple of months ago in New Hampshire, I decided…read moreto go out and explore the area. My daughter directed me to an area called "The Road of Antique Shops" or something like that. Specifically, there is about four or five miles of road where there are tons of antique shops, big and little, fancy and plain, friendly and not so much. Upon one of my journeys, I found this lovely little shop, run by the delightful Miss Corinne and her husband. This is truly a place of hundreds of pieces of antique furniture, paintings, clothing, home decor etc...AND, if you ask, there's a very good chance that Miss Corrine willl be willing to negotiate on the price of something you really love. I found a beaufiul, sepia colored vintage photo in an even older frame for a wonderful price, a great addtion to my wall of everything Italy. She told me how she thought the house was a little haunted by the former owner and if you pick anything too heavy for you to carry, her husband will help you. It is a large buliding with two levels and but it's hot upstairs so bring a fan! :o) I loved this place and will visit again when I make it to NH. Nice people, great little shop.
