I am new to Denver, and I needed to get my new down comforter washed. This was my first wash since I bought it about 2 weeks ago. I googled some places and nearby and this laundromat had good reviews and it seemed very clean and reliable. I called ahead and asked for a price and she (owner) gave me a very good reasonable price. I went ahead and dropped off my comforter to pick up the next day. I showed up to the laundromat to pick up my comforter AFTER work around 4-5pm. It was in a sealed bag, which was a great touch to avoid getting dirty. I went home and about an hour or so later I opened the bag and to my surprisingly my comforter was WET and HUMID. The bag was wet as well! I was livid. I called and as I was talking on the phone, with a very nice young lady, I noticed my comforter was ripped! The nice young employee (not the owner) asked me to come back while she attempted to call the owners and have them call me back. (THEY NEVER CALLED ME BTW) Once I arrived I showed her and asked her to feel the comforter and she agreed that it was wet. I told her I dropped it off the day before and there should be no reason why it was wet and RIPPED! I demanded my money back and asked what they were going to do about it my new comforter. The owner (after multiple attempts) finally called back and said to give me my $22 back. I was so furious that I didn't even want to be there to argue for them to pay for my comforter. I went ahead and took the money and left my ripped comforter there for them to toss! For them to not contact me, even after the fact, and leave the nice girl to handle it was unacceptable. This is the worse laundromat I have been to. They are ridiculously expensive and their machines are awful. They will take your money and then not work. When you ask an attendant to help, they are very rude and never refund you. I have never had a positive experience here and have had countless articles of clothing ruined because of them. read more

My family has used this laundromat for the last five years. We have laundry machines in our apartment, but bring oversized items here and will also occasionally bring 3 to 4 loads in one trip if we get behind on laundry or have a machine issue at home. This place is always clean, and we have never had problems with the machines, employees, or card system. We paid the $.75 deposit for our card, And I have been using the exact same card the last five years with no issue. to load the card is cash only, but they do have an ATM on-site. There is a language barrier with several employees, but if you approach them with kindness and patience, that is what you get in return. read more

Monday, June 22. This laundry at has a prepaid card system that takes bills and cards. There is a 75c deposit for your laundry card. The place is very clean except for a greasy sheen that covers all the wash and dry machines. The owner/manager was pretty friendly, available and helpful, and said that this was just polish to cover up cosmetic imperfections. The machines were very shiny, but I wouldn't recommend setting your purse or anything on them as the polish will rub off on your hands or anything else that comes into contact with it. I go here all the time and just now I feel the need to post something that really bothered me... I had just finished my laundry and thought "Hey, I've got a long drive home. Might as well hit the head before I hit some traffic." So, naturally, I asked the clerk if I could use the restroom. Unnaturally, he says "No. I just cleaned it.". Keep in mind this is at 9:10pm (20 minutes before they officially close). The place is usually very clean and they do a good job of fixing a problem when there is one. But the service was just disappointing when they wouldn't let me use the bathroom because "[he] had just cleaned it" . My plan: I'm going to open up a bar right next to them and clean the bathroom first thing in the morning. That way, I can prioritize keeping it clean (instead of serving my customers) so I can leave early while all my guests pee their pants in leiu of a restroom that SHOULD'VE BEEN AVAILABLE DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS... Clean machines, fair prices, and I love that the machines use a card instead of coins. This is my preferred laundromat. The two (out of countless) times I had a machine malfunction, it was fixed immediately. The only times that aren't great are when the old lady and/or her husband are working. This woman is extremely rude, and her English is limited, so it's hard communicate with her. Her husband is inconsiderate of everyone around him. It makes many people angry, but I doubt he notices. If both of them are working, I leave instead of getting my laundry clean. Also, it's bad for business to clean half the machines on a Sunday evening when the place is packed. I come here all the time but today this only lady working the counter pissed me off. I use the same machine every time I come in (monster load). I'm putting my clothes in and about to pay then she runs up as I'm putting the soap in. Screaming "press start , press start!!l I look and her and say per the posted steps on the machine you add supplies the press start. She says no you're wrong! I point to the instructions and she just says " whatever" and walks away. Did I mention no apology for being wrong. read more

Ok, let's all agree on one thing. The card system is a good idea in theory but it burns that we as customers have to shoulder the $0.75 "new card fee." The owner has decided to use this system instead of coins, with no apparent benefit to the customer, so he should bear the cost of the cards. We came in on a weekday (travelling here for business) and couldn't find the attendant so we could break our $20 bill (there are no change machines in the place). We rang the service bell and asked around to no avail and eventually just spent the $20 on a card, thinking the attendant could refund us the unused portion after we finished our laundry. He eventually came back in the store and asked if we needed help and, after explaining the situation, he informed us that he could not refund us anything and that he would have been more than happy to break our bill before we bought the card. So ok it's partially our fault for not being patient enough to wait for him to come back to his job but the place really should have a change machine. Or do away with the card system overall. We ended up giving our card, with $14 unspent to a random person in the laundromat. The facility is clean, WiFi is free, and the attendant was nice as he explained the stupid system to us. Perhaps this just isn't a good place to go when you're not a local. read more

As far as laundromats go, this is one of the top I've been to. Very clean, friendly staff, and tucked away so it's not super busy (I went on a Thursday night.) Prices are definitely affordable especially since they only have front load washers. $1.95 per load on the smallest washer and $.25/10-minute cycle dryers. The prepaid cards make it convenient so you don't have to lug around huge bags of quarters but they ARENT transferable to their other locations. If you don't have cash on you, the clerk can swipe your card and give you cash there. :) read more

Sorry, but this laundromat uses an inconvenient card system like Dave & Busters. And the card only worked 25% of the time. Annoying. If you want to use the machines, you must buy their "card", and the card is like $0.55, which is no big deal, but then, if the machine is $6.50, then you have to use cash to fill your card to whole dollar, so it cost me $7.55 to use a $6.50 machine. Always clean and bright. Machines are pretty much like new condition. Never have a problem finding a washer or dryer but I do go on off peak days and hours. Even during busy times not much of a wait. read more

My dryer broke right in the middle of 3 loads of laundry, so I needed a quick fix, and Washway fit the bill. I had not used public laundry for 20 years, so I had very low expectations. I was pleasantly surprised. I went on a Thursday morning around 9:30 and practically had the whole place to myself. It was clean, the attendant was helpful and friendly and the ability to use multiple washers and dryers at a time got me out of there very quickly. A note on the cards, I didn't have a challenge with the cards per se (as other reviewers have said), but I put *way* too much money on it. And since I have since purchased a new washer and dryer, I don't know how or when I'm going to use the extra $13 that is still on the card. Cards are non refundable, so if you are trying out the place, start with $5, not $20. read more

This place is a joke! First you have to pay for a card and put money on the card. Then the washing machine took money off of our card and didn't start. No one was around to help. We waited for 30 min trging to get someone to come out of their little room to help us. I knocked on their door and called them 5 times when someone finally came out and he said everything looked fine. It wasn't until my husband told him to check our card did he FINALLY help us. I go out of my way to use this laundromat. It's clean, quiet and I actually prefer that they use cash cards. Only thing inconvenient about this place is that you must have cash in order to put money on your card as their card reader is broken. If not for that, I'd give them five stars. read more

I don't often need a laundromat, but I'll be sure to come back to Washway when I do. It is really clean and the staff is super helpful and friendly. There are plenty of machines for a crowd and they were being cleaned as the became available between customers. Free wifi on top of it and quite a few tv's (playing a broncos game when we were there). Also plenty of baskets and folding tables. I didn't feel cramped or rushed at all during our visit - very comfortable. Much more easy and comfortable than any other laundromat that I've been to. read more

This place is great. Friendly attendant and awesome working machines. I have been using this place for months now. The whole place is clean and the washer and dryers are all stainless steel. Reasonable prices, too! I definitely recommend this place for anyone. Don't bother with change they have a card you load up and swipe to wash. Have to do a minimum of I think $5 or $10 to get money off a credit card. Great for doing large comforters, etc. They also have a drop off service and tailoring. read more

Pros: new machines and lots of them. Owner is great very friendly and helpful. Prices are ok. Food places very close..within walking distance. Hours are great. Free wifi, lots of parking Cons: Beware....the outside/top of washers had some oily film on them (cleaning agent?) Wipe Down the area you are folding clothes. It appears a dirty rag had been used to wipe them down. ( Bring your own rag) Price of little boxes of detergent etc is way overpriced. I have been paying 50 cents elsewhere. Prices are NOT posted. I thought at one time they were and where 50 cents now $1.00. NO washer for small loads. Very little area to fold clothes. I believe it is due to this place being so small. Floor is not clean. (no matter what time of day or night I have been there) I understand daily traffic but at 8:00 am? Don't know if this is a pro or con- Dryers run cool. Hot is really medium. I should say that is in the small dryers. Haven't used the large ones. Also, only their money card can be used. You load a card with money. I am still not sure about this. Don't like having someone else use my money. Things that need to change- get rid of ice cream box. Have a dispenser for paper towels so people can clean up spills when loading soap dispensers. Staff needs to acknowledge people and be helpful. (owner is great) Hopefully the back door will remain accessible (saw it was blocked twice) but lately it has been clear) Reconfigure the extra space used for storing people's pickups and put in another folding area. read more

It is convenient that this laundromat doesn't require coins. It's spacious which is good because it fills up quickly, but it's very clean inside. It's easy to find an open washer/dryer regardless of how busy it is. The only negative thing I would mention is there's a lot of people just hanging around in the parking lot. I had high regard for this place until yesterday. When loading my laundry I found all their equipment saturated in stainless steel cleaner. This stuff is essentially OIL... So while doing laundry you can't touch anything without the residue getting all over the clothes you are wearing and the clothes you are trying to launder. Read the directions! You're supposed to apply it then buff until the residue is gone... Disappointing. read more

I used to go here a lot. The card reader seems easy but you cannot load your card with a credit card. I found out that you can use your credit card if the attendant is there. They will give you cash to use the reload machine. It is clean but the service is not very good. If your card stops working, you need to buy a new one. The owner, always has to be right. I had a few problems And he needs to show me on the security camera that I did stuff wrong. I thought the customer was always right. Not in this case. The straw that broke the camel's back was he promised to call me back(he was going to review the security tapes and prove I used Too Much soap.) and never did. I waited for 20 minutes for him to call and no phone call back. One time my machine did not work and he was showing his employee how to start my machine while telling his employee that he cannot keep giving away free washes. How is it free when I paid? I have been going here almost weekly since moving into an apartment nearby end of March. Pros: Very clean and kept that way! Well lit and bright (not creepy) Don't have to worry about quarters - uses card system (yes, there is a small fee to get a new card) A good quantity of front load washers/dryers (various load sizes) - kept in WORKING order (for the most part - they maintain things well compared to others I have seen) Attendant on duty - have always been very friendly and helpful Affordable Free wifi Supplies available if you need soap, etc. (not sure of pricing as I bring my own) A few minor Cons: Could use more comfortable seating (I often sit in my car while my laundry is finishing) Parking & parking lot - everyone wants the best spots. Often very busy and crowded (no matter what time of day or day of the week!) No cold drink vending machine which might be nice. (I think they may have some drinks you can purchase at the counter though) You can check balance & load your laundry card balance at the laundromat itself. But there is no way to check balance or load it online from home. Overall, if you need a laundromat, I recommend this one. Much nicer and better experience than a couple others I have tried. read more

I have been coming to this laundromat every 2 weeks for over 2 years. Up until today, I have not had anything but good service. However, today I witnessed the male owner verbally abusing one of his employees over her failure to understand his instructions. He called her a liar, called her stupid, threatened to fire her, and was the epitome of condescending to her intelligence. After hearing him call her stupid, I asked him to stop berating her. He immediately got confrontational with me, and at one point asked me if I would like to "take it outside." His claim was that he was educating one of his employees. Verbal abuse is not education. Further, he saw nothing wrong with undermining an employee in the middle of his laundromat. I will never come here again. Nobody should support an environment or establishment run by someone who has zero respect for employees, nor for customers. read more

This is a good laundromat. The customer service is really good. The keep the place as clean as possible. They are not rude, don't lose your card and don't be a douche to the staff. You have people who have attitudes who come in, but the staff does their best to handle these situations as best as possible. I have never had an issue with anything and I always ask about something if I have a minor issue with a machine rather than making a big deal out of it. I am glad to come to Washway for my laundry needs. read more

Sign and website say 730 am. Finally opens 45 minutes later at 815 am. I went to get coffee at 802 am. Drove back n it finally opened. No one is in here.Bathrooms are locked. Started laundry and got some bleach on hand from the small disposable packet. No sink no wash my hand because no one is attending this place. read more

If you're just passing through and won't be back to this laundromat, you will likely leave some money on the table with the card system used here unless you bring cash with you in the form of $1 and $5 bills. The machine that issues the card is cash only and does not make change. If you don't have cash the attendant (if you can find them) will run your credit card through the register and give you the cash for the card machine, but at a $10 minimum. So, only need $2.00 for some more time on the dryer and don't have cash? It will cost you $10 and the unused $$ on the card are not refundable. Also, there is a 75 cent fee for a new card. By loading the card with small bills as you do your laundry, you're less likely to leave unused $$ on the card when you're finished washing and drying. This is probably a convenient system for regulars, but not for a one-time visit. Expensive place too. Cost nearly $20 for 2 large and 2 normal size loads of laundry. Clean and most machines were operational, but won't be back. read more
