My call was for not receiving daily mail in Garland, TX. It did take awhile for the phone to be aswered and now I know why. The rep who answered was very polite and helpful. They asked the appropriate questions to get the service request established and I hope on to Garland for resolution. It appears that my mail is all being returned to sender qhich is not good. If your package does not fit in the mailbox then it gets auto-stamped in the morning with "unsecure location to leave package". Later near the end of day mail shows up and sometimes you might see an orange slip saying unsecured location or some other made up excuse as they do not want to do their job and deliver your packages on the doorstep as the instructions say to do and have been same instructions for years now. On average a package from Amazon that should arrive in 4-5 days takes 10+ days and 25% of the time over 2 weeks. In 2022 we have had several packages take over 3 weeks and some take over a month. Amazon takes the complaints and passes them down and for a month or two the deliveries will be back to less than 2 weeks again with some arriving on time but then it reverts back to USPS substandard times again. Instead they want you to drive 30+ minutes out of your way and come stand in line for an hour and it's always one person up front even though the wait room is full and people are in line outside. You would think they would call for a second or third person but no cuz then they do not get their sorting done or miss their breaks. Did I mention how windy it is at that location?? Doesn't matter if it's summer or winter. Plus when it's cold or windy or both then people get closer and closer in line to you. Nevermind Covid protocolls as some people just stink. I'm not talking about a little Body Odor, I'm talking about a 3 day fart and rash from wearing the same clothes mixed with cigerette smell smashed together. This is the worst post office I have ever had to deal with. I can not believe how slow and mismanaged they are. Each carrier has like 20 houses most of which are all in boxes grouped together and they can't be bothered to deliver packages to our doors. I used to leave a $100 tip for my mail carrier at Christmas but forget that when I have to spend 2-3hrs in line to do something that should be their job to do. They keep changing the Post Master and terrible carriers are never getting reprimanded or enforced to do their jobs! I, along with my community, deserve to have a carrier that does her job. We are not expecting more than that. I will be calling the news again and will be following up with every Post Master until we get proper service. There are workers at the counter that are very courteous and I feel sorry for them having to constantly deal with complaints that they have no control over. I give this post office a zero. I have a phone number for the postmaster, Brian Young, and I cannot reach him. The phone just rings and rings, no answer, no matter the time I call. I have called as early as 5am, 7 am , 11am still no answer. My mailbox was destroyed by a vandal and I have no mail because of it. The perpetrator obviously was not caught, and the guy that works at the post office window delivering packages said even if they were caught they would just release them. This is a federal crime. Now I cannot even get them on the telephone. I have gone to the window and they claim they have no mail for me. I asked them to save my mail until I get another mailbox. I am very disappointed in how this is all playing out. We need a post office closer to us that responds to us. This post office is at least 20 mi from our house. read more

The lines are routinely out the door with almost an hour wait. The workers are seldom friendly, one young man has a serious attitude and refuses to smile no matter how nice I am to him. Once, I was sick and sent my daughter to sign for a huge package, he stood there by the door and watched her struggling to carry it and didn't even offer to help. I hate coming here!!! read more

Dec. 4th, there was a line of 14 people to send out Christmas packages and I must say, those Post Office employees were swift, efficient, and unexpectedly cheery. Like, super cheery. Lol, it caught me off guard. But I was in and out in 6 minutes. No joke. The cost to send out is absurd but that is something that they no hand in. Well done, Wasilla post office. This post office has horrible lines. Waiting times are over 1/2 hour. The five stars is for accommodating my pregnant wife who is almost full term and couldn't stand in line. They came and out brought her to the front of the line and carried her box's. read more

Worst post office with worst customer service. The Postmaster Sharon Lee is dishonest and they don't care about customers or care that customers feel valued. They are petty and make things very difficult for seniors with customer service, lack of communication and lazy carriers. They are stubborn and refuse to budge. They will deliver a mattress but won't deliver a heavy box to a senior citizens porch that has back mobility, shoulder replacement repairs and rheumatoid arthritis not allowing senior to carry anything over 5 pounds. They have delivered here for 15 years, now they can't back up but for a mattress. My drive is not an insecure area but are using that as a reason for lazy carriers to not use reverse when we as citizens see them reversing all the time. I am taking this issue to New York and Channels 2 and 11 if need be. They are now avoiding all my calls. I was told by USPS.com agents to claim hardship and have a doctors note to show how stubborn and petty they act. I see my doctor next week. Will update when appropriate. read more

This place of business is about the worst and most unprofessional group of people I have ever had to deal with. Not to mention you wait 50 to 60 minutes before you even speak to somebody And then when you do they have no idea what's going on because none of them have a clear position or even know what their position is and they act like they can't do anything or call anyone or track a package or make sure that gets delivered there just rude and this company is gross I think they need to get some Educated professional and personnel. Going Postal may get its definition from this office. If you have time to kill and want a good laugh swing by weekdays on lunch or between the hours of 3-5. You to can stand in line and laugh with others as the next poor resident of the valley opens the door and quickly decides no package is worth that wait. Although, i do enjoy getting to know my fellow residence and having a a good laugh as the next defeated person gives up their spot in line tends to break the silence I, along with many others below this review have had many issues with this location. In most cases a physical notice of an "attempt of delivery" will not show up. In the last few months the new trick seems to be updating the package as "delivery attempted notice left" . I receive this notification electronically and find it pretty odd that they are normally time stamped around 7 AM. Seems odd. This really makes me wonder if this location is meeting their responsibility as a post office.
