Let me assure you, those reviews are legitimate, and Fred & Stacy are exceptionally wonderful to deal with. Fred got us in rather late in the tax season, which made me very happy. The experience from that point was as pleasant as having your taxes done could possibly be. Stacy went above and beyond to proactively call me the day before a snow storm, and asked if I wanted to move the appointment. Who does that these days? Exactly no one, that's who. Once we sat down with Fred, he prepared much of the info on the spot, rather than just taking notes and putting our return in a queue. I would have rather just paid the penalties at the time that I filed instead of being surprised by letters from the IRS and PA. I can only assume Philadelphia will be contacting me shortly with more penalties. I reached out to him about the discrepancy, and he told me to call the IRS and take it up with them. He's been pretty terse and cocky, and frankly a little rude and off putting throughout our interactions. I can say that he filed the return pretty quickly after I got in touch with him (but it was the off season). I went with someone else this year.
