I have been in extreme pain for over the past three years. I had a severe case of Planter's…read moreFasciitis that was causing me to stop doing all the things I loved, working out, including lunges, yoga, running, even walking half a mile was causing me incredible pain in my heels and ball of my foot. Dr. DeYoe was the forth specialist I visited, by the time I finally found him, I was exhausted from jumping around to specialist to specialist with a prayer that someone would know what they were talking about. If you've ever been in pain, and had to search for a good doctor who could help, you know how very frustrating this can be. Finally, I found Dr. DeYoe! He explained to me I was most likely the 1% of people who had a rare case of Planter's Fasciitis that would only get worse if not fixed. Basically, my tendon was torn and so bad a bone spur had started to grow to try and reattach to the tendon, causing even more pain. He had talked to me about surgery very early on, because he knew how long I had been dealing with the problem, with no help. After roughly 4 months of wearing custom orthotics and wearing tennis shoes, I finally told Dr. DeYoe it was time for surgery. We scheduled it a month later, taking out all the gunk from my tendon and taking off the bone spur, I was in a boot for roughly 6 weeks and now I am walking with little pain. Going from a 10 on the pain scale to a 3 or 4 was an answer to my prayers! Thank you Dr. DeYoe, for giving this 26 year old her normal life back! Within the next 3 months I will be able to go for a run without excruciating pain. I never thought I would be able to say that!

The doctor came in a few minutes after that, examined my toe, removed the foreign body and was done. We were there less than 30 minutes including check out. I cannot remember a day without pain before surgery. Seems as though when I awoke after surgery, I was in less pain than the day of the surgery. Dr. Berchuck is the greatest. His directness is greatly appreciated; bedside manner is great; very caring surgeon. He gets my rave reviews to everyone I meet. I would certainly recommend him to anyone in back pain. I just wish I had found him sooner. My 1st appt. was in Waxahachie, surgery was at Baylor Dallas, my follow-ups are in Red Oak. His staff is perfect; nothing but kind, curteous and very caring.

The low quality of the fillings is of concern. I have had two fillings falls out, one needed a root canal and one needed an extraction with bone graft and membrane (NOT done by Dr. Foss, went elsewhere by then). Dr. Foss use to be a lot of our friends go-to dentist office but the prices have skyrocketed and the outdated equipment have us seeking a more updated, professional and clean atmosphere. I noticed after every cleaning or filling, I would have a sore on my lip, inside my cheek and at the corner of my mouth the next day from probably the non sterile environment. Just be warned and ask for prices BEFORE any procedures or 'visits'. Also, I had to have a root canal and she referred me to an endodontist; yet I thought she was one?! They've gotten greedy with out of pocket pay and insurance accepted. Also, if you like old school dentistry, this is the place for you. The follow up care after a procedure isn't very good, either. I'd rather go to a dentist office where I feel like family instead of dollar signs.

I waited only a few minutes before I was taken to the back, seated and tended to immediately. To me, one of the biggest complaints about doctors is the wait time. This was such a welcome surprise! The nurse who dealt with me was incredibly knowledgeable, answered my seemingly endless questions with patience and thoroughness, and I was in and out in no time! And what was so impressive was the follow up. I received phone calls the next day and a few days later checking on my condition to see if I was feeling better. I am so happy to have found a place filled with people who seem happy to be at work, who treat you like part of the family, and offer such a nice experience.
