Large companies like WASTE PRO usually have the means to bounce back after such disasters but their customer service must have been severely impacted ! having called regularly since October I called again today for service and Spoke with LISA,ERICA, And MAY on 01/09/2023 and after calmly stating my request I was placed on hold and promptly disconnected. Just want to give a shout out to our Waste Pro guys that work in Serendipity Mobile Park. Specifically truck 405. I was raking out and getting rid of my garden stones today. And while I was asking a question, the wonderful man swept up a pile of rocks and dumped them for me! How unbelievably nice and over and beyond was that. We live in SE Cape Coral and Waste-Pro picks up our trash and re-cycles every Tuesday. We received a package which was packed with packing peanuts we threw in the trash. This past Tuesday March 18, 2025 when they picked up our trash is all went up and down our streets!!!!!!! Lots of garbage, bags filled with our dog's poop and all the hundreds of packing peanuts up and down our street. Fortunately we had two great neighbors who saw us outside struggling to clean it up! I'm 73 and my husband is 78 therefore it was very hard for us. I called 311 and they transferred me to a lady at Waste-Pro who told me NOT to clean it up for she would send another trash truck back. THEY NEVER CAME! We are senior citizens who pay our taxes every year on time which supposedly includes trash pick up. Shame on Waste-Pro!!!!!!! read more

Been in Cape Coral for 14 years and Waste Pro always an issue. leaking hydraulic fluid all over, trucks breaking down and had one driver hit me up for grade 8 bolts to fix his grappler arm, pick ups being missed and then told somebody would be out and they simply show up next week on the regular pick up day. Now it's horticulture pick up which was supposed to resume the week of the 21st and 2 weeks later the piles in the neighborhood just keep getting bigger. Not talking Milton debris just regular palm fronds and the piles are getting taller than the mail boxes and making a big bald spot on my lawn. Every week Waste Pro comes by to gather trash and they throw my bins wherever they want. Yard, driveway, street, they don't care. This week they just picked up recycling and he didn't even empty the bin. He picked it up, some made it into the truck, some fell on my driveway and street and he just left it there and threw the bin in the gutter. I had shattered bottles all over the driveway and street. Shattered glass is hard to clean up to begin with, but to leave it there where I drive my car, others drive, where I walk my dogs and other neighborhood dogs gets walked, is completely unacceptable. I called into their office to file a complaint and while she took it, as I started giving more detail she stopped me and said "I got it!" We have had so many problems with this company. So many times we put our trash out and it's not picked up. We call him every there was so nice and I mean that everywhere that works here is really nice. The problem is that they just appease you. They promise you that you miss trash pickup will be picked up the next day and it never is. Our pick up day is Tuesday. We always put it out Monday night. So there is not a chance we miss it. My husband saw the people come out after the first regular trash was picked up and missed our real trash not our greens and they said no no no. Worst company. First call Dec 23. Called 3 more times for a water heater on neighbors adjoining drive that had been there since Dec 16 and an oven on my driveway put out Mon dec 26th. I called Waste pro four times to report my garbage wasn't collected. First call was on Thursday at around 3pm. i was thinking fine, they (Waste Pro) can collect it tomorrow (Friday). Called on Friday and was told it would be two days before they (again waste pro) can collect it. Called on Saturday so it can be picked up on Monday. Also called on Monday to speak to a person and not a answering machine. I was told it would be picked up on Monday. Guess what? No pickup again. Called again on Tuesday and was told to call headquarters of Waste pro at 4pm if it wasn't picked up. H:mmm...They close at 5pm. It is now Thursday and it is my normal collection day. If you call customer service, expect to get lied to if they say its going to be collected. If I was in a store and wasn't happy about a product I'd have a recourse for a solution. Unfortunately I don't have that as an option since I pay yearly for a service I'm not happy with. If we were to pay customer service for what they are worth, they'd owe us money. read more

My fiancé and I moved to Cape Coral in February of 2021 and have issue with their services from the start. I called for a month just to get my cardboard removed, they were very inconsistent with regular trash and recycle removal. Recently they didn't pick up my yard waste for 3 weeks and tagged it for not being in compliance after the pile grew to large. I've called every day since where they argued I should have bundle my piles and I've requested a call back from a supervisor, which I haven't gotten. I really hope you loose your contract, your company is literally trash. I noted a garbage truck up the street from my home yesterday that just drove by not picking up my trash or my neighbour's. They told me it would be 90 days until I can get replacements. It has been the 90 days and I am still waiting. Also, we put bags on the side of the trash cans and they never pick it up.. I've had a rolled-up carpet (plastic wrapped to protect from rain) ready for curb pick-up FOR 3 WEEKS NOW, and Waste Pro still hasn't picked it up. First, after reading all of the 1 star reviews, I have to ask, does any member of management even care? I am inclined to think not. So I guess they're happy working for a miserable company or maybe it's just that they have no self respect. On 6/25/2019 our condo management office placed a call to them to inform them that we had palm ferns that needed to be picked up. They were informed that they no longer do complimentary pickups. So, after checking with our BOARD, we gave them approval to charge us for whatever was needed. Since that call nearly 2 months ago, our management office and I have made a minimum of 2 calls a week to get an "update". It is 8/14/2019 and we still have our dried up palm ferns out there! I'm not sure if management at Wastepro is reading the reviews and trying to rectify the issues at hand. Since moving here a couple of years ago, they've been subpar at best. I've called more than a dozen times about either my trash, waste, or recycle to be picked up. It's not rocket science to pick up what's on the curb. The last pickup, they damaged my recycle bin with no phone call to replace or follow up. It's totally unacceptable and unprofessional. The county has been having a problem with them and keep getting nothing but excuses for the fixes. The last guy I talked to at the company was rude and assumed I was a business and was arguing with me about picking up my cardboard that was left for two weeks. Once i corrected him that I was a resident, he tried to apologize, but at that point, it was too late. They need to reevaluate their company and employees for retraining or terminating. read more
