Caleb showed up and explained he would access my septic system and evaluate it first to be sure it needed to be flushed. After evaluation he told me he had good news. He showed me the system and told me that it was in good shape and didn't need to be flushed. He cleaned the filter and just charged the service call. He worked fast and efficiently. He was so polite and was a pleasure to talk to. Quality Septic is lucky to have him on their team.

I have used Roto-Rooter in Mobile many times in the past. They have done good work although the…read moreprices are more than most others. I always pay because the can get to you quickly. The last experience was very bad. I ordered leak detection. Cost was $300. They found the leak. I paid to have it repaired $1500. However, the plumbers caped the wrong line and I still had a leak. I called and they suggested that it was a new leak and that I should replumb the entire house, which would cost over $10,000. I called American leak detection, they charged $300 to come out and found the original leak still running. I paid them $2000 to repair it. I did call Roto Rooter and they admitted the mistake and refunded the $1500. They did not refund the leak detection (so I ended up paying 2 companies for that) In the end. The leak was fixed, however, Roto -Rooter capped the line to my sinks and I had to pay another plumber $650 to make the repair from their error. I have had a rough couple of months with the water but hopefully things are all better now. It was a very bad experince and it could have costed me much much money if I would have taken thier advice.

All of the information I have about its business is from what the son told me. He was very polite and courteous and I believe him to be very honest. All locations are owned and run by the same people. Because of this they will drive all over Mobile and outlying areas at no additional charge. First off, know that there is a difference between an outdoor plumber and an indoor plumber. If you need an indoor plumber, I would recommend Cottage Hill Plumbing. Billy's is - again - outdoor. The business is family owned, which is always a better bet than a corporate place. For me, the son came out. Too bad I cannot remember his name. :( What I liked about him is that he seemed honest and did not try to tell me we needed new lines, which would have been in the thousands. I wouldn't have known if this were true, so that's points in his favor. The cost was 10% less than the over-the-phone estimate; the total was $225. I called about 11:00 a.m. (and spoke to the mom, who was very sweet) and the son was there by 1:00 p.m. It was quick too. I needed my septic pumped out and it took them only about 1 hour total. The same day service was free. The son was very polite and meticulous (e.g., see ruts below). He also was careful to respect your lawn. For example he did not want to park truck in the yard because he was concerned about leaving ruts in it. He gave me a detailed and informative brochure (which his sister designed), explaining how septics work. My husband always deals with this and naturally, the septic overfilled while he was out of town. So this was good learning material. All in all, based on this one experience, I highly recommend them. Final note: They do accept credit cards, but they charge a fee for their usage. I wrote a check so I don't remember how much the fee was.

This was one of the worst service experiences I have ever had. I hired this company to pump a…read more500-gallon septic tank that had only been receiving minimal use for approximately 2-3 weeks, primarily gray water and limited toilet use. I was also away from the property for an entire week during that time. Based on the actual usage, there is serious reason to question whether the tank was properly emptied at all. What is even more concerning is the complete lack of customer service afterward. I called six times today and once the night before, and every call went to an answering service. Not one call has been returned. A reputable company addresses customer concerns, especially when questions arise immediately after service. I cannot recommend this company to anyone. Extremely poor communication, questionable service, and zero accountability. Do your research before hiring them.... I would give them a -5
