The teachings of this Buddhist monk is the best I have observe anywhere. We were here as a second day of mourning in the passing of my beloved aunt. All the nuns, staffs and Buddhist monk made us all feel at home. We were in prayers and the monk's teachings is something that I have always live by. The prayer was an emotional, and spiritual lesson in philosophy, way of life, in healing and support all under one roof. After the ceremony we were all invited to a vegan lunch. It was an absolute spiritual experience for me and helped in our mourning. The site is huge that includes a beautiful indoor prayer area, a lotus pond and beautiful outdoor Buddha statue , a stage where community functions takes place, an eating area where vegan meals are offered and vegan ready cooked food or vegan frozen egg rolls that one can buy. It is a community of love, support and harmony all in one. It is the teaching of "goodness" as the monk pointed out in each and everyone of us.

I noticed that they have sell food and the prices are very affordable considering the quality and the amount they serve. I tried some skewers or chichen and pad Thai. They were very good, but it surprised me that they have a sweet flavor. They have places outdoor where you can seat and eat.

Most of the booths are food related items such as fried bananas, Fried shrimp fritters, Soups (broth) and boat noodles, also steamed rice cakes. I do not know the names of all the food items but they also sell fish cakes, pork cakes, mango sticky rice, boba teas, pork sausage logs, rice plates with chicken meats or pork, and dumplings. I did not see noodle dishes such as pad thai, pad see ew - The Thai Food Truck was the only one serving full Thailand Menu and it looked quite interesting but I skipped the truck. I will def try it next time since they are the only ones selling full menu. There is a booth selling spices, seasonings for the cooks. I saw a lotus cookie that looked interesting - It reminded me of a fortune cookie batter. They had 1-3 booths selling clothing from Thailand, Souvenirs etc. I did buy the only earrings from Thailand. I was tempted to buy the all brass incense holder but I figure I can get that next time. This is a must go monthly if they open on Sundays. Its free entrance and free parking.
